A very well hidden gem in Quebec. Most people would be forgiven for not being aware of the extensive Naval history of Quebec, but it's a fascinating history worth discovery. The museum has some very special and unique pieces including an WWII German enigma machine and authentic Kriegsmarine Officer uniforms. Some fascinating royal Canadian Navy artifacts and pieces as well.

Pros: -Free entrance. -Very friendly service. -Clean place and they even have confortable seats (that I used ☺) in the middle of the museum. Cons: -Boring -Small museum (about 10 minutes max if you don't read everything).

Smashing experience. Different from other maratime or naval museums in that it focuses on the people involved not just on ships, arnaments, technology etc.

It was an amazing experience, we had a great tour with Willliam, who is very knowledgeable and kind. He shared a lot of background information with us and explained Canada's involvement in the Atlantic Blockade. The exhibition itself is very personal, somehow you feel like you know these sailors, like you've just learned of a lost uncle... I was very impressed and delighted to see it!
