Great, especially for those who are fans of Anne of Green Gables

What a lovely place! The lady at the ticket desk gave a very interesting introductory talk and was able to answer many questions. A very nice, quaint museum.

Armando Manuel Pereira

Really enjoyed the talks with the three ladies working there, and all the cool stuff on display on the lower floor. Also, a lot of nice Lucy Maud/Anne related books and gifts. The outside of the house was pretty to look at, too. Maybe my only disappointment was the upper floor. I would suggest removing the gates, and providing a "do not touch" tour instead.

Lawrence Haddlesey

Lady running this was really great with my partner. As she had never been there before

Ka Jl

Stuck up pretensious host rest was cool.

(Translated) It is Montgomery's birthplace. There is also a souvenir shop The house where Montgomery actually lived It was a facility like a museum. The clothes you actually used Many scrapbooks and other things related to Montgomery were also on display. Not only the redhead Ann, but also the subject of other novels Something related was also exhibited. I wanted to read not only Redhead Ann but also other novels. When I went on a trip to Prince Edward Island, I stopped by Redhead Entour.

Interesting place for die-hard L.M. Montgomery fans, but is quite small. On the bright side, if you don't have much time, this can be a pretty quick stop as you explore PEI. Maude was born there but didn't actually live there for much of her life. Cute little house and good price (under $5 per person) for the tour and the host gives a bit of history about L.M. Montgomery.

I didn't go to the gift shop or inside the house for a tour so can not offer any opinions about the place.

Located at the intersection in New London, the birthplace home is a very small house on a small lot but there is a sizeable parking lot adjacent. The staff are well informed. Down the hill is a small fishing port and an oyster nursery site. The Kindred Spirit shop adjacent is not a not of the birthplace site.

Found it very strange that Lucy Maud never really lived in this house (I think she left when she was only 2-3 years old?) and yet it’s still a busy tourist attraction on the Anne of GG circuit. It’s just an old house that she never would have really remembered. Anyway, if you have to see it then OK. It only takes about 5 mins to walk around and the lady gave a nice intro on Lucy’s life if you’re interested in that sort of thing.

Loved it. I brought my wife and children here a few years ago. Its literally around the corner from my mother's childhood home. Her name was Earith Dunning. We all signed the guest registry. Apparently, the staff member on duty that day recognized my surname in the guest registry as the surname that my mom took once she married my dad. The staff member was a cousin of my mom's! She contacted my mom that night and shared the fact that we had visited the LMC homestead that afternoon! I love PEI. It was a very pleasant experience. **UPDATE** My mother passed away last year, so my brother and I travelled to the Island again to bury her remains at the Geddes Memorial Cemetery.

Very nice

Friendly place, well curated collection of Montgomery's personal belongings. A lot of care went into the wedding dress reconstruction. My favorites were the personal letters and pictures which give some context to her life. The home is historic, but adjustments have been made to give wheelchair access. A pleasant stop, allow about an hour; more if you want to read everything. Some souvenirs sold here I didn't see anywhere else.

Worth the detour to see where she was born. They had a good display of some reproduction clothes and many original items and writings. I was lucky in that one of the ladies was just about to start a commentary about Montgomery’s life.
