So very meaningful. I visit the field of crosses every year to pay my respects to those that have and continue to sacrifice for us. Every year there are more stories and photos attached to crosses that groups and individuals have provided so that people can connect with our veterans.

There’s not too much to say, other than thank you to those who have fallen. It’s a very touching and riveting moment to stand amongst the crosses in silence, and imagine what these men and women were like, and what life might’ve looked like for them. Lest we forget ????????

For those who leave, never to return. For those who return but are never the same. We remember. If you have never had the opportunity to go check out the Field of Crosses downtown along Memorial Drive- you really need to go check it out. What an incredibly somber experience. 3500 crosses. All the names. All the ages. All the rankings and all the death dates along with some that have stories. It gave me goosebumps. What an incredible memorial for our fallen Soldiers.
