The museum is located inside the heritage park and is the centerstage of the area. The museum is one of the largest living museum in north america and has one of the largest automobile collection from 1860s to 1950s. Very colorful, rich and enjoyable artifacts up for display for people of any age who are interested in the history of automobiles and how it helped the Candian economy thru the last century. Must visit!

Is nice to visit it once a year, and the winter carnival is more for kids under 9 years old, I said this because my 2 kids 6 and 8 they get bored after 1 hour.

Struck up conversations with Timothy and Danny who watches over the top and bottom floors of the museum respectively. Wonderful gentlemen and both really knowledgeable on the cars. We went on a quiet day on Tuesday, so we practically got private tours with the both of them. Loved it!

What a nice museum, parking is free for 90 minutes. The locations is very nice, must be nicer in the summer! I visited on a very cold day. There are stores, a restaurant and a small marina. Plenty of space to spend a nice day. I was amazed by the beautiful cars and gasoline pump collection. My favorite part was those cars that were preserved to show the way they were found. They have cars, trucks, and each one of them has a small explanation of how it was acquired. The museum staff is very friendly and they will happily answer any questions. Kids have lots of fun, they can interact and learn. For antique car lovers, this is a dream come true!

This place is bloody marvellous and I don't know where my previous review came from, it certainly was not from me. Loved the experience greatly and the soup in the restaurant was out of this world. Shame the rest of the Park was closed . Highly recommend Gasoline Alley.

This vehicle and gas pump museum is absolutely amazing. The building that houses the collection is very nice. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It is a must see for any car collector or old time vehicles as there is an amazing collection of larger trucks also. The collection of old gas pumps with the globes on top has to be the largest in North America. This is a well designed and put together display as you will see. The colours of all the vehicles, gas pumps and digs is wonderful. I would recommend coming here as this is a one of a kind museum. Oh and don’t miss the basement level

A must see/do when in Calgary. Our Tuesday morning visit was excellent. No lines, relaxed. Even a few activities for the kids. We spoke mostly with John, who was super friendly, and super knowledgeable about the collection and its beginnings. Besides having an amazing collection of beautiful classic automobiles and associated artifacts on display. There are two other aspects that are quite intriguing about this centre. 1. It is a great place to take children as it has a designated play area for children so that parents can take a break. There is also a basement area for children's birthday parties too. 2. Upstairs in the mezzanine area is a great place for meetings and gatherings. These meetings can be catered with a wide selection of delicious recipes. The atmosphere creates a unique experience for meetings and events.

Gasoline Alley has been around for over 60 years and it's one of only two museums dedicated to preserving and celebrating comics and their creators. You can find it at 710 8th Avenue SW. It's easy to get to. You can take the C-Train, bike or even walk. It is also easily found on Google Maps and driving directions should be provided for those who don't want to do any of these things. I assume you can find it if you use your GPS or iPhone too though. If you are into comic books at all this is a great place to go and learn about the history of them.

A fascinating place, even if you aren't an antique car expert. The vehicles are gorgeous, the display of gas pumps going back to the early 1900s is one of the largest in the world and the gas globes display is incredible. The museum is one of the highlights of Heritage Park.
