love to see all the old stuff which we thrown in past but they are still alive in this place.

Sylvia Gallus

A "museum" of historic computers but they all work, and all are hands-on. Try programming or play games, from TV Pong to newly-released Commodore 64 games.

In 1986 after two years trying we 'invented' a prog loading cartrige for C64 that would load progs in about 20 seconds instead of 10 minutes, called it ROMJET, took to World of Commodore '86 where everybody said, gee if only you'd come out with this just 3 months ago, we switched to Microsoft PC. We almost changed history, came 'that close' we'd a been billionaires today. Wished we'd kept one ROMJET for Sid's museum. We went there, saw all the old stuff, lots of memories, there's even a Canadian Hyperion ! Sid's a wonderful old computer tech passionate guy, and has done, is doing a wonderful thing. GREAT MUSEUM !

Go back in time and actually play the game console you had or wish you did when you were young.

Syd Bolton

Includes a complete history of the personal computer and is interactive!

Jason Gambacort

Great place to get your nerd on. The interactive component is what I love about the PC Museum and it's great to learn not only about the old machines themselves, but the history which brought them to life. I could spend hours here playing around and reliving old but fond memories.

The Personal Computer Museum is a one of a kind place. Curator Syd Bolton has collect a massive collection of computers from all the way back to the very begining of their history. The museum is also home to of one of the largest private video game collection in the world l. Syd does regular tours of his video game collection during museum open houses. Museum open houses are an amazing experience. All of the computers on display are setup with interactive with. Each open house has a specific team and the interactive display changes to match these themes. The open houses make great family outings kids can learn a lot while having a to of fun. The PC museum also hosts day camps and is available to rent for parties and other special occasions. Monday evenings the museum is open for donation and general e waste collection. You can bring any thing electronic or computer related including old book and software. Any thing museum worthy is refurbished by volunteers and added to the collection or recycled with proceeds going to support the museum. For any one looking for that nostalgic feel or just looking to unload some old electronics the museum is a must visit.

If you can go see it, GO SEE IT. lots of interactive stuff to see. Sid (owner, collector) is super passionate and quickly dive right in with interesting tidbits about anything you see. For the (respectful) kids there are a ton of videogames, from vector based games and pong to Xbox and PlayStation, they can see the history of games and computers. Just a really cool experience. I'm bringing my family back for Harry Potter day in November.

Chun Zhang

Backyard museum with lots of interesting collections. Brings me back to my childhood through the very early pc games. My kids love this place too.

N Pray

Fun place to visit or drop off electronics.

Spent nearly three hours browsing, talking and "nerding out". Such an amazing place, I'd reccomend it to anyone who is interested in the history of computers or even just electronics.

Brian Devins

Nerd heaven. Staggering collection of vintage and rare machines that you can touch and play with. Enormous walls of software and video games. Syd is an incredibly generous and patient proprietor. An unforgettable experience. Patrons of all ages, all smiling. I had a 45 minute conversation with one of the volunteers. A magical, important place brimming with pride and community.

Steve Punter

Incredible collection of vintage home computers, including Commodore, IBM, Atari, etc. It's not a huge place, but they've packed in a lot of memorabilia in there. It isn't open all of the time, so check online for available dates and make a trip to Brantford. You won't regret it.

Well, the sad part is he wont correct the wrong info ,and wrong dates on Amiga. Therefore, I cant give him a good rating.I knew Jay personally. I talked to him in depth on these things several times. Really, so i don't want to hear anything else from anybody A lot off people want to be right, but they seem to change dates to their own liking ,and the funny part is the dates are always changing for everyone else. Only mine never waiver.

I have visited the museum on several occasions. I enjoy it a lot, as I lived through the evolution of PC's and gaming platforms... massive nostalgia hit from seeing all of it. My 16 year old got a big kick out of seeing how primitive, and large and clunky, most of the old systems were. As for the rudeness one person commented on, I found Sid and his volunteers to be very friendly, and more than willing to chat about the old systems, and their personal experiences. Where else are you going to find all sorts of cool old systems, that you are encouraged to play with?
