At the present this business gets a score of 4.6 out of 5 and this rating is based on 127 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is nearly the best one, and it is based on a high number of opinions, so we can be quite sure that the rating is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they are satisfied with the business, is that it works.

This Museum belongs to the category of History museum.
The staff gave a detailed explaination for each room ad the house was clean and in proper condition. Beautiful flowers as well.
Splendid interior! Historic heritage!
Great staff, great history, beautiful grounds and will most definity go again!
Really great tour, amazingly well put together.
A small, but interesting museum. Great for people interested in local history and interior design. The tour is very informative and not rushed, so there's time to have a good look at the house. Restored with great attention to detail. And the garden is lovely.
Interesting
Feels like a hidden gem, when you want to step out of the city, as unlike some of the great parks in Toronto, this is much less trafficked. The gardens are lovely, diverse and peaceful. The house and it's contents are charming and interesting.
Spadina Museum is definitely one of my favorite places in Toronto. They do an amazing job at keeping the spaces in perfect conditions so you feel the character of the house, the history around it and the serenity of the gardens. Great for outdoor meditation, to bring family and friends and I actually recommend it better than Casa Loma (for a third of the price you get more history and less of a "venue") Dogs are allowed outside. Great great place.
Interesting place to see and learn about the history of Toronto's powerful people from the 1800s
Great place amazing historical informations and beautiful gardens and flowers. It's a tourist spot in Toronto, Ontario.
So great, every item is authentic to the house, the grounds are beautiful, stone's throw from Casa Loma, friendly staff, very lovingly restored!
So great, every item is authentic to the house, the grounds are beautiful, stone's throw from Casa Loma, friendly staff, very lovingly restored!
Great building
Their garden is perfect for picnics. They also have some free concerns in the garden during the summer.
Cute little museum, good for an afternoon outing or to join in on one of their events. Staff is passionate, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Great exhibit. Great tour guide. Lots of great stuff in gift shop
The shop here has all kinds of great things in a variety of prices.
Great place to visit with a lot of Toronto History and Canadiana. But, too hot, too crowded.

(Translated) Very good museum which offers guided tours even in French. We find a decoration and period objects there according to the testimonies of the heirs. We see the lives of wealthy people and their employees of the 19th and 20th century. I recommend for a trip back in time.
Beautiful garden even under the rain !
Nothing special
For anyone who loves Downton Abbey, I would recommend a visit to Spadina House as well when in Toronto. It is a time capsule of the home of one of the most influential families in the History of Toronto. Very well preserved home with all of the original family furnishings and it is right next door to another historical attraction, Casa Loma!
Beautiful place and it is good place to take a photo shot
Charming place, great tour guide
Stunningly beautiful 1920s - 1930s era home. Grounds are breathtaking. (I may even prefer it to it's bigger, more famous next door neighbour, Casa Loma.)
Splendid.
(Translated) A pity that you can only do the guided tour, which lasts approximately 1 hour and has so few daily passes. Adult admission costs $ 9. They organize activities and camps for children where, among other things, they are taught to cultivate (Original) Una pena que solo se pueda hacer la visita guiada, que dure aproximadamente 1 hora y que tenga tan pocos pases diarios. La entrada de adulto cuesta 9$. Organizan actividades y campamentos para niños donde, entre otras cosas, se les enseña a cultivar
Didn't really know what to expect as I had never heard of it before going. Must be because Casa Loma is right next door and stealing the spotlight. But this place blows Casa Loma out of the water! Still furnished, you get to see a glimpse into the life of the family who lived here. The tour was exceptional both times I went, and they had lots of information about the era, items in the house, and general info that I hadn't come across before. The grounds are also beautiful and I can imagine that they would be a great place to spend a summer afternoon.
Beautiful place
I want to go here so bad.
Beautiful gardens.
A brilliantly-maintained property. A visit here won't disappoint
Actually a great tour!
This is very much not a 1920's gilded age mansion. All the literature and the tour guides information completely neglects that this house stood for decades BEFORE their made up 1920's guilded age flapper narrative. Frustrating for anyone who knows a little about history.
What a beautiful treasure for the city of Toronto. Plus if you are bored and in the neighbourhood you can just hang out in the grounds. I eat my lunch there sometimes...it is pretty nice.
Various era and various ceramic and porcelain are there
Fun for the Gatzby party!
One of the most beautiful historical houses in Toronto. Well worth it, to see what a family truly lived like in the 1920s and 1930s. Original furniture throughout and artwork that belonged to the Austin family. Staff are knowledgeable and were very kind.
A historic family home of a wealthy Canadian family. The nice thing about it is that grounds around the house are free to roam.
My favorite historical house in Toronto and if you get a pass from the library it's free. The gardens are free as well and beautiful. Right across from Casa who?
great idea for teaching: roaring 20s and some of the 30s - history geo sociology etc
Beautiful place and excellent tour guide. So many things seemed so far ahead of its time and the splendor was of course timeless.
I had a wonderful time here learning about how people lived and the ages that this house has been through. The architecture and setting made it great for pictures!
Lovely gardens and historical home. Worth a visit if in the Casa Loma area, and if you'd like to see something other than Casa Loma.
What a beautiful house and wonderful garden! I also love the staff, very helpfull and passionate about their work.
Worth to visit, beautiful
Great preserved home from 1920's including original or restored furnishings and art work.
Worth a visit. Friendly and knowledgeable tour guide.
A Very nice place to visit with the family
(Translated) This place is not so well known, it is very nice and it has a huge garden. The house is small but you enjoy a very comfortable visit. (Original) Este lugar no es tan conocido, es muy lindo tiene un jardín enorme. La casa es pequeña pero disfrutas de la visita muy confortable.
Do not forget to pickup your audio guide before starting your tour. It's free of charge!
A very good place to visit in your free time.
Historical mansion like house during 19th century, really interesting. Must go with guided tour around the house.
Historic location, attractive gardens. Our string duo, trio and string quartet has performed here for wedding ceremonies, reception and private events, and its proximity to the downtown, beautiful 1920's and 30s decor and attractive gardens make it a wonderful place to host a wide variety of events.
It is an interesting Canadian family history in 1920. did not meet my expectatins for a museum.
Parking is expensive
A good one to visit. A wealthy families home opened to the public for viewing. Many outdoor gardens to visit on the grounds.
I was visiting only grounds. Nice garden

Nice building and garden
Simply wow...very pretty building and decorations. Our tour guide was very helpful and informative. The ground outside is breathtaking during summer days. Highly recommend
Beautiful gardens
really good place for a nice quiet dinner, very classy place
Great tour! I learned a lot.
Great look into the past
Very very interesting and our guide was the best! Excellent experience highly recommended if you're into museums
This is the place to take your vintage photos.
Good to be there and see the place and to explore
Spadina museum is a great site to visit, especially with children. I had a great experience seeing all the artifacts. Amazing educational experience.
The most beautiful historic house I've ever seen and I've seen a few. Staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. I had a wonderful time. It's too bad that this place isn't very well known, sometimes well kept secrets are the best. The history is fascinating. Grounds and gardens are beautiful for photo-taking. You can take photos in the house but I did not because I felt it would disturb. House is fully accessible by lift for those with disabilities which for me was amazing because I would have had a hard time coming down three flights of stairs. I'm so glad I found this little gem
This place is always so gorgeous and so peaceful and quiet after casa loma
Gorgeous grounds.
Beautiful Museum. We actually had our wedding ceremony at the Museum. The sunroom is perfect for a small, intimate wedding. The exterior for wedding photos are just beautiful. However, due to the inclement weather we had (the random snowy week in November), we didn’t get a chance to take pictures outside. The events coordinator is truly amazing. She is prompt with response emails and listened to every concern we had. She also made it so we could take pictures inside. The event staff are professional, and very experienced! Our day went smoothly and we are absolutely in love with the pictures.
My family were given a lovely tour of this historic house by a very knowledgeable guide. Enjoyed this experience!
Have to take a tour as a group. Couldn't look around by yourself. It's a nice place anyway.
NICE PLACE
A gem! A Toronto house-turned-museum with guided tours and special events. The guide showing us around was very knowledgable, and was able to answer questions we had prepared. A great bit of Toronto history, and in fact a quiet inspiration for betterment. Worth a visit!
A beautiful house that is a wonderful slice of Toronto history lovingly restored to the 1920s with original furnishings, decorations and memorabilia. Toronto's slightly more modest 'Downtown Abbey'.
(Translated) For those who like art and history it is a must. Go ahead and enjoy the beautiful garden. (Original) Para quem gosta de arte e história é imperdível. Vá com tempo e curta o lindo jardim.

Spadina Museum is really a nice place to visit in the summer!
Totally off course
Experience would be better without a mandatory guide, though I understand why they have to do it.

Wonderful part of Canadian history. Beautiful gardens.
Unusual because so much of the decor is original. Interesting family gave insight into the city and period. Good complement to Casa Loma. Nice garden
This little museum had so much history it was amazing! Must visit if you are nearby!
(Translated) Magnificent and well-maintained house, it was a pleasant visit with which we saw a glimpse of 20/30 years. Good driving, low-priced tickets and free Sunday garden tours. I recommend it as a Sunday trip.
I had some reservations about the house itself (I had read a dreadfully dull book about the property), but I was absolutely blown away by the building and grounds. We had a bit of confusion when we arrived, as we had purchased a walking tour instead of the guided tour of the house, but they were able to accommodate us for a house tour as we had originally intended. Our guide Dave was super knowledgeable and had so many interesting little bits of information to share. We explored the grounds after our tour and took in the nice weather in the lush gardens and lawn. Thank you Dave and the rest of the museum team for turning our blunder into something pleasant and informative!
A nice quaint museum. Worth a visit if you are also going to Casa Loma. Tours are much more in depth then Casa Loma and a real person is you tour guide

A good place to take children to teach the history at the same time to entertain them. A must visit during summer.
You need 3 to 4 visits to cover all the floors. A collection of masterpieces you would never find anywhere else.
Beautiful place! I had heard about a children's event and decided to attend with my family. I was a little disappointed because they said on the post that there would be many activities but it turned out to be dull. Staff weren't there to monitor anything and the activities didn't really turn out to be anything. I did pay for the tour so we got to enjoy that but they shouldn't try to bring people in with false advertising.
Interesting history. Amazing stories on who lived there and how life was way back when...
Beautifully maintained house and gardens with all of the original furnishings and decorations from the 1920s.
This place is a must visit if you are visiting or even if you reside in Toronto. The gardens are beautiful during the summer months and you can take a leisurely stroll through them. This is also my favourite spot to visit during Nuit Blanche every year! A lovely gem right in the heart of Toronto. Definitely recommended for all history lovers and Jane Austen aficionados.
The garden is wonderful! Fall makes everything magical.
(Translated) The house is preserved with the furniture and personal belongings of the residents. It is a guided tour, very interesting. …
Really well researched history.
A beautifully renovated villa from the end of the 19th century, reviving 1920's upper class history and way of life. Take the guided tour, first ask for the schedule. It is only open 12-4pm for this season. Also surrounded by beautiful and relaxing gardens. You can visit in conjunction with the neighbouring Casa Loma at a special price.
unbelievable...so very interesting
Awesome guides. They are very enthusiastic about their jobs. Its an experience as if you are that time.
Lovely cultural spot with a beautiful history. Love this place.
Lovely museum that is totally worth a stop if you're planning on visiting Casa Loma. Not only is it a 2 minute walk from the main attraction next door, you even get a 25% discount if you show them the ticket to Casa Loma. Lovely home with extremely knowledgeable tour guides able to transport you to the era when this house was constructed. It's easy to tell the detail that went along with making a home so meticulously and with great finesse.
Nice lovely historic place
Small place
Cool place
Lovely place
A time machine, it was so much fun!
Loved it
As a time travelling flapper, I particularly enjoyed the Garden Gatsby Party last weekend. Indubitably.
Awesome experience, very well-versed guide Emily. Thank you!
Every year they host fantastic events. Flashman and the Gatsby garden party are must visit events.
Attention to detail and preservation gives a real sense of how it was back in the day.
Excellent tour guide and a hidden gem. Well worth the small entrance fee.
Great place! Thank you for interesting tour!
This was my first time visiting the Spadina Museum, on Spadina street. and I Just recently visited this place and noticed it was such a nice place to go to. Would want to visit again, this is a must visit to see the beautiful gardens during the summer months thank you so much for the good scenery.
It was nuit blanche and lots of lighting art to see. Very impressive. Also take a walk through austin terrace you will catch a beautiful view of downtown Toronto from the hilltop.
I love the stuff there the guide are friendly.
Had a company picnic on the grounds and totally enjoyed it. Its such a beautiful place. Been to Casa Loma so many times, can't believe never stepped in here.

Nice guided tour. I think to see the upper floors you have to be on a guided tour which happens at various times throughout the day. The basement has the entrance, a lovely gift shop and a few exhibits.
Beautiful gardens and home. Lots of antiques
We went to this museum on Doors Open Toronto 2019. The house is magnificent although visible signs of age (it's been here since 1866) are showing. There was a archeology dig in the basement, which is very cool.
Excellent museum. I highly recommend it.
High class and sassy all rolled into one. I love it.
My favourite part about the Spadina Museum is the beautiful Spadina House garden. Open daily until 5pm- you can access the grounds around this house/museum for free! It’s a beautiful space nestled in one of the nicest areas of Toronto. It feels almost like a private park. In the summer they host outdoor events like themed fairs and yoga classes which are always a treat. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area or looking for a nice place for a picnic!

Amazing furnitures and decorations, large house, nice pictures before WWI. Nice background informations.
I was really happy with how well run a recent event at this museum was! An outdoor event in the rain could spell a nightmare but the team were well prepared and made sure most attractions were in tents. The gardens were stunning! The museum itself is beautiful and our tour guide exceeded all expectations with his knowledge base! I would go again for sure!!!
A must see! A great look into Toronto life of the rich at the turn of the century.
Great museum! Been to plenty of conserved houses but never seen a 20's one before. Since it's relatively recent, it's very well preserved and authentic. Note: you get a discount if you bought a ticket to Casa Loma before. Also, it's a guided tour.
Very cool and informative
As of now, closed to general public due to covid restrictions. Walking tours around the property are available, and the guide I had was very engaging and insightful regarding not only the museum, but also the history of Toronto. The garden is humble, but decent, and the orchid is great in summer for picking apples (highly recommended!). Overall a great place, would be a 10/10 experience if not for indoor visitation ban.
A brilliantly-maintained property. A visit here won't disappoint
Very cool!
First try not so good. Really wanted it to be. Really love the space. I think its worth another try.
Definitely a must visit. Recommend taking the tour to learn about the history of the family, each room and the building.
Great place to visit, nice tour guide and it's pretty inside
Nice guided tour. I think to see the upper floors you have to be on a guided tour which happens at various times throughout the day. The basement has the entrance, a lovely gift shop and a few exhibits.
It wasn't to my liking though, but i enjoyed the park there. Overall, was a very good visit. You can hang out with your family & friends to really enjoy it. And if you're into the History of places you visit, this is definitely for you.
Loved visiting this place for a class trip. Such great history, interior, and staff. Didn't get to see it in the warmer seasons but will come back. You might experience some unexplainable events like a door opening and shutting on its own, which happened to me while watching the video about this house.
Nice place to visit
This more modest yet still grand dwelling, placed in the shadow of the palatial Casa Loma, is a wonderful place to visit on a beautiful day when the gardens are in full bloom. The interior is also worth a visit, but there is a fee to enter. It is fun to see how people lived in the recent past, with the interior reflecting the era of the early 1900's. They seem to have some fun events periodically as well. The gardens are breathtaking (and free on the day we were there, although I think you can also pay for tours of the grounds) to wander around, with flowers and a vegetable garden. So beautiful! Great for photographers!
Get a taste of 1920s in Toronto's midst!
Don't go 30min before close because even two minutes after they will deny you entrance.
Very flowery this time of year beautiful gardens behind this mansion. I went with my sister and friend since my sister only visits once in a couple of years. Now I am hoping too find another friend too accompany me on my next visit.
Very happy to see such a wonderful museum in my area. If you get a chance to check out the Spadina Museum you should do it.
So great, every item is authentic to the house, the grounds are beautiful, stone's throw from Casa Loma, friendly staff, very lovingly restored!
This museum is almost more interesting than Casa Loma next door. Beautiful property and was decorated as it would be in 1920s. Keep in mind, it is guided tours only which start at certain times, but the staff are do knowledgeable of the house and family that you want that anyway. Learned so much about life in those times taking this tour. Well spent day going to Casa Loma and here. Remember, if you do, that your receipt from Casa Loma gives you a discount on entry here. Best money I spent in Toronto were these two museums.
Great historic place right across Casa Loma. A must-see for visitors who would like to know more about the history of Toronto!
Loved the experience of old Toronto
I must see destination in Toronto, beautiful old architecture.
Super interesting museum. The workers are very nice and friendly. The guided tour was extremely interesting, and the guide was very helpful. You could tell he loved his job. The gardens were also beautiful! I had a great time, and couldn’t recommend more. Definitely worth a visit!
I actually like this even more than Casa Loma, which is WAY over the top. Spadina House feels more like that home that it once was, and not just a showcase. I love the Irish green dining room, the pretty-in-pink sitting room, and all the wonderful paintings on the wall ... this family loved art! Definitely worth a trip.
I just love old houses and this one it's perfect! Totally original and full of history that makes you feel just like traveling back in time!
The museum is well kept, and the staff is very friendly. The tour is interesting.
I was here for a 1920s card making class. Great staff, lots of information with 1920 recipes of cookies as a snack. Loved it!!
We took our mum here for mother's Day. We had a wonderful time learning about the house and history of the family. It's a gorgeous house wonderfully up kept and restored. Part of a bonus of coming here on mother's day was that they had a 1920s to 30s singer and piano artists, they were an amazing duo. Afterward we had delicious scones and tea! It was a wonderful event and I highly recommend you going next time they have one.
Very nice garden. The house is full of history.
Nice tour
Gorgeous place, great for a wedding
The staff gave a detailed explaination for each room ad the house was clean and in proper condition. Beautiful flowers as well.
Visited this historic landmark for the first time. Beautiful grounds, great tour and a sugar cookie with apple cider. I loved it!
A hidden gem in the city
Toronto's Downton abbey
Had an amazing potential to be a good tour, but ultimately was ruined by a bad guide. If you get Bill...run.

Private wedding in the gardens. Beautiful apple orchard. Blossoms just staring to emerge.
Not a must see but has a pleasant guided tour.
A beautiful establishment and garden in close proximity to casa Loma. This place can get pretty busy during peak times but it's a wonderful location to learn some of Toronto's history or enjoy the serene gardens. Also an absolutely beautiful spot to take photos. For bigger shoots you will require a permit.
Free park is great
Something you learn about Spadina History. Love it and really interested to learn about the history.
Went for a radio show event, ended up doing the full tour and it was well worth it! Very interesting history.
This is great museum, much better than Casa loma, I always enjoy it. Great guides
Past, present & closed till the fall.
Very well kept house with period furniture. There is a guided tour with a knowledgeable guide. The grounds are vast and beautiful with many trees and flowers.
The grounds are open but the museum is closed. Lovely!
The grounds are open but the museum is closed. Lovely!
For the past few years, Spadina Museum has played host to the Not Far From The Tree City Cider Event that showcases different ciders from across Ontario. If you love ciders, this is a fun family event with food, entertainment and the opportunity to explore the Spadina Museum itself which is a former home of a wealthy and prominent family that details life in the 1920s. Much of the house is restored and has guides in each room to explain the function of each room. It's pretty interesting if you like to know more about Toronto history.
History is amazing at this home. Grounds are well kept, home is beautiful and the staff on hand are very knowledgeable.
(Translated) It is worth waiting for the guided tour. The guide is very detailed and tells with enthusiasm. The house was decorated for Christmas with the display of family Christmas cards. Very interactive tour and very nice tour guide.

Our visit was way better than expected. Very interesting museum with a great guided tour.
Good place to spend an afternoon.
First time visit, but I Loved it, because there was a history to it. When you go there you will love it, fun for the whole family.. ????
$9 entry and very good tour. Lovely house and older than Casa Loma.
Wish it had air conditioning.
Amazing place to learn about the 20s to 50s lifestyle. Cool themed events too, check out the Facebook page to see what's coming up. Highly recommend!
They had a ridiculous great gatsby party and wanted to force us to buy tickets to it in order to see the house.
(Translated) A historic residence that is not very popular compared to the nearby Casa Loma but certainly worth a visit (Original) Una residenza storica poco frequentata rispetto alla vicina Casa Loma ma che merita senz'altro una visita
This is a museum of quite manageable size. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was able to give us a real feel for what life was like for the family in this house
Nuit Blanche @ Spadina Museum was Magical! ❤
Only went here once, but did not find anything overly special unfortunately.
Three stars because there is not parking for this place you have to pay $10.00 to park at casa Loma and then walk to the Spadina Museum, very inconvenient specially to walk in high hills when you are going to a wedding. Didn't like the place.
It is a beautiful place...but overpriced for weddings shoots..$450...and a lot of restrictions...now the experience is like "time travel" and the pictures were amazing!
Beautiful historic place. But if you are thinking of having your wedding here, choose a different venue. The local residents make it impossible to use this beautiful venue because of their noise restrictions. Recommend going if they hold their own event.
Spadina Museum is one of the 7 smaller museums owned and managed by the City. Its a wonderful insight into a successful titan of industry's 1920 home...actually built much earlier but decorated for 1920. Across the street from Casa Loma and perched on the original escarpment and shoreline of Lake Ontario...the views are striking. There is a very good intro video before you begin your tour to set the historical context. The grounds have fruit trees, a greenhouse, the chauffeur's family residence above the carriage house and the groundskeepers home. It's well worth the visit...under $10...check the website.
Inspires and soothes. Here for the "Music in the Orchard" series. Amazing !!

Don't go on Mondays. ..it's closed. It's beautiful on the outside lol. Very helpful staff...even off shift.lol Looking foward to going when open. Looks beautiful through the windows looking in. I have been before, and it's wonderful, just wanted to take the kids this time.
Took a guided tour of the house. Beautiful grounds.
Spadina Museum is a little gem of Toronto that many do not seem to even be aware of! So much interesting history in this home and has, basically, all original furnishings of the Austin family. Easy and inexpensive ($10) to book a tour which is less than one hour and very informative. The house has beautifully kept grounds which are lovely to meander through and enjoy . If you love wallpaper and a peek into what the lifestyle of a prominent family in 1920's Toronto was like, this is the place for you!
Love the gardens. It's such a peaceful place in the heart of mid-town Toronto!
Very good tour available by dedicated staff members. We visited on a hot day in the summer and there's no air conditioning and the windows cannot be opened due to age. Be sure to visit during cooler months of the year if you find this a problem. Interesting historic house with greenhouse on property. Limited parking on side streets. Definitely worthwhile.
I've always heard of the Spadina Museum, but never had a chance to go until I stumbled upon it during Open Doors. Though I only had a small amount of time to explore, I did enjoy what it had to offer. It was nice to learn about local history and get a sense of what it was like to live in Toronto, during that time frame. I found the staff to be very friendly and quite knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions I had. I was quite impressed that they had a good chunk of the original decor from the Austin Family. The house is restored to the 1920s time period, which make it great for an morning, or early afternoon stroll. The gardens in the spring/summer is also great to check out.
Pretty, special and children friendly.
Fantastic....a must see place in Toronto
(Translated) Spectacular (Original) Espectacular
Awesome place. Piece of history.
Rich in history, a gem to visit in Toronto!
The grounds are now open, and garden is beautiful this time of year.
Gorgeous and tranquil garden! Highly recommend the PWYC yoga that happens twice a month here...in the summer, it takes place in the garden; otherwise it's in a large sitting room in the house :)
Well worth a visit when in Toronto
So historic and relaxing????????????
Gardens were lovely reminded me of Monet's garden, Giverny. The combinations of flowers were charming
good and informative...
Nuit Blanche can be awesome or average. Spadina Museum tonight was just fair...
Beautiful building and property! Although the group was small, our museum guide Cal was extremely theatrical, professional and informative which brought the 1920s building to life! As foreigners, it was nice to also learn about some history of Toronto as well.
great time
Never know that there was such a building until I visited. The guided tour was very detailed. Although it is located in the city, I managed to park for free in the street, legally. Otherwise, it would have costed me at least $10
This museum is a historic house.
This museum is a hidden gem! A significant part of our city's history. With the cutest gift shop, too. A must see.
Great Tour, Excellent
Loved the museum and the tour around it!
A great museum just steps from Casa Loma. I enjoyed the small tour more than the bigger attraction next door.
Very cool place to visit
Amazing guide and museum. Strongly recommend to visit with a family.
Intesting Historial Museum, immediately takes you a step back in time to the 1920's teaching you all about the Austin Family.
Very cool place to visit. Be sure to check out the basement. This is where some of the CBC Frankie Drake mysteries is filmed. As you can imagine, it's an old house, so there are stairs, be prepared to take your time If you are a bit mobility impaired, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Fascinating to see the displays and reproduction of how this beautiful house was laid out. A lovely walk through time.
To me, I think Spadina museum is better casa loma. It has very delicate and gorgeous interior design. But I hope it allows to open people more rooms
David is an excellent tour guide.
disappointed, we were turned away rudely! we visited several museums during free admission period, all others are very nice, the service did not disappear with ticket price, while this one is the only exception
Great place should be showing more rooms instead of few selected
Really fun tour. Fun staff, neat to spend an hour there
Such an amazing experience. So much to see.
Good
A beautiful historic house museum. grounds and gardens are beautiful in the warmer months.
Beautiful place, took wedding photos there
Awesome architecture
A wonderful place to take your family and learn about Toronto history. Very knowledgable staff. A hidden gem.
Very nice experience and very cooperative member
Meh
The guided tour was very informative and the content was well presented. This place is full of well preserved history. I personally prefer places like this over e.g. Casa Loma. The shop has a lot of high quality souvenirs and NOT the common kitsch you find in other places. Oh, and make sure you try their homemade cookies on your way out (picture attached), it's only 2$.
Nice place
