Two buildings to explore. Staff were friendly and eager to tell us the history behind the various equipment, houses and such.

It's a free tour of the place. If any one wants to know about Bovaird and the history behind it, you can visit the place. Anyone give any amount of donation.

We kinda liked the short visit.. especially for the kids to know more about the history. Unfortunately the place was closed on that day and we could not visit inside the building..

Historic Bovaird House from 1852 is now opened for public. Both buildings renovations have been completed and you can get a guided tour inside the building with the guide wearing historic costume. Some construction work outside the buildings (garden, orchard and parking) are still in progress. For opening hours please refer to Historic Bovaird House Google Maps info

Nice little historic location in the middle of an urban jungle.

Amazing little house full of our Canadian history and stories about the early settlers and farmers who built Brampton from the ground up. Our guides were very knowledgeable and loved when visitors would ask questions about the day to day lives of the families that lived in this house many generations ago. Thank you to the volunteers, donors, and community Champions who work tirelessly to keep this little piece of history alive for generations to come.

Lovely old home and property. Several events throughout the year, and it appears they are adding new features/buildings on the premises to enhance the experience. Worth a visit.

My first time coming here with family on Mother’s Day and had a wonderful time. I had the cinnamon apple tea and wonderful plate of treats followed: chocolate dipped strawberry, gingerbread cookie, sugar cookie, lemon loaf, fruit cake and a muffin with strawberry jam and whipped cream on the side. If you haven’t tried definitely recommend.

Great tour.

This is a good place to spend an hour when you are in Brampton. You can explore the rooms in the farmhouse both upstairs and downstairs. There are some interesting artifacts such as a fireplace screen and wax candle makers. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful. There is free parking and a small shop with crafts. Admission is free but there is a box for donations.

No why should I hate this place. It was my third visit to this place with new friend each time.I am amused by their reaction to this place when people lived opulently even when there was no electricity, no technology, no communication.
