(Translated) I really enjoyed walking on Ste-Hélène Island. There is so much beautiful thing to discover. The Lévis tower, among other things, which brings us back in time. Very nice view when you are at the top. The story surrounding all of this is very interesting and makes us relive what happened in the past. Thank you for this gratuity. You can also get there by bicycle by the cycle path which gives us access to several points. The view is sometimes breathtaking. One day is not enough. From Île Ste-Hélène to Île Notre Dame. Everything is to be visited, whether with a family or with friends. Thank you Montreal for all these accesses !!! (Original) J'ai beaucoup aimé me promener sur l'île ste-hélène.

(Translated) Located in the heart of Île Sainte-Hélène, the Tour de Lévis, built in the 1930s, is a natural and historical landmark in the Montreal landscape. An interior staircase of 157 steps leads to an observation deck that offers a 360-degree view and impressive perspectives on the islands, the river, the city of Montreal and the Montérégie. During the 2018 summer season, the Tour de Lévis is open to the public free of charge on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) (Original) Située au coeur de l'île Sainte-Hélène, la Tour de Lévis, construite dans les années 1930, est un point de repère naturel et historique dans le paysage montréalais. (Translated) The tower is now in a bad condition so we can see the holes and then some blue construction tape. Under reconstruction for 2 years whose budget is huge but I have not seen anything by workers or a construction site, sorry a fence at $ 300 and 5 pallets of pebbles it is nothing for the price you are going you in the photo. It smells of corruption and I wouldn't be surprised if it comes from our taxes. Then the construction deadlines are not respected what a surprise ....

Really quite part of the forest-y area of the park. I landed on it with friends by accident once while biking and it's a cool tower. Never been inside though.

(Translated) A pretty tower in the middle of Île Jean Drapeau at the top of which you can have an excellent view of the whole city of Montreal and very different from the other views of the peaks that can be found in the city center. In addition, entry is free. To advice. A must see tourist stop. Other reviews say it’s closed to the public but that must have changed. Doors are open on weekends, except during the winter season.
