Visually not a bad place. Of course especially for Navy centered people. Theres more then enough info and sights to keep you engages for a half hour at least. Good price for a fun little day with the family. Highlight is probably exploring the fort and indoor exhibits.

I love the lighthouse here. You can visit the museum and see a bit of history of all the light houses in Prince Edward county. Admission is free. You can donate if you want on their donation box.

Country museum with grounds open year round, with picnic tables in lovely setting. Has inside exhibits on Mariner's history of the area, relocated lighthouse and replica early French (Kente) fort.

Fort Kente is a great place to visit in the back.

This place is excellent and although it may say that it's closed on Google maps, it is pretty open concept and you can still visit. Look out for information boards & there is a slot to leave a tip as well.

A lot of interesting information within the rooms. The fort replica is fun to explore but could use some sweeping on the upper level. The gift store is lacking - maybe an opportunity to bring in consignment artworks that are relevant - a showing may provide a draw?

Roman Kitsno

Nice ang quiet place. A lit of little frogs in August. A lit of poisin ivy alongside the pathways.

Colin Kish

Lots of fun stuff to explore

Carbon Lilies

We were really surprised by the quality of this out of the way treasure. For anyone wanting to learn the rich history of life on the waterways in Prince Edward County or those simply interested in boating at all, this is a must see.

Small museum tucked away in Prince Edward County. Admission is by donation. Some great exhibits and provides a little bit of everything for the curious observer. There are outdoor as well as indoor exhibits. There are guest lecturers, times and names are posted. Well worth a visit, especially as you follow the wine trail. Nice place to take a break.
