Truly a great experience visiting this outdoor pioneer village. It was not commercialized, entrance was free, and there were plenty of volunteers providing interesting and relevant historical background. Very nice displays of equipment, household goods and furniture allowing one to have a fairly good impression what life in early rural Ameliasburgh was like.

Wonderful afternoon for the kids and grownups alike. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. A good reminder of the many modern conveniences we take for granted. Don’t forget to visit the new taxidermy building!

They have a car show every year with camping and limited facilities there is a beach where you can swim and boat also but everyone goes for the old cars

I went to see the Jake DeVries Natural Heritage Exhibit opening, it was really fantastic! I'd highly recommend this place! I didn't have much time to see the other buildings but I sure will be back.

What a gem, especially the school house which for me was the highlight of the village. This is a small but charming heritage village that is less crowded than some others. The exhibits are nicely done and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The village is a little out of the way but well worth the visit.

Refreshing....and not wine Adults and children had a great time exploring each building and meeting the interpreters. The family rate made it very affordable for our gang. A very worthwhile visit.
