Best kept secret in Barrie. A great place for your kids to learn and play. Lots of creative and thinking play areas. My granddaughter went to summer camp there then we decided to ask to have her birthday party there recently. The staff is amazing and nice. No trouble at all everyone was happy. Thank you so much for the accommodation. Just remember to wear your mask. Love this place. Check it out.

Curio is our favourite place to bring our children. Their weekday programs are educational & fun. Our boys come home bursting with amazing memories from their day. Hands down the best children’s place we’ve ever been. I couldn’t say enough good things about this local business.

My child mentally benefited from Curio not only that but socialized with other kids and got him colouring as he was afraid of markers go figure ....anyways they had limited peeps coming in, everything that was put in mouth was sterilized as you know they are kids after all....this placed help me so much when I had to get out of my house for viewings and it was too hot to be out. Amazing atmosphere for mom/dads/kids I wouldnt ever think this isn't essential, as so much was taken away from us this past year. A little bit for our kids to look forwa rd to. Wait to go Curio for keeping it up with the good work

We moved to the area from Seattle in the Spring and Curio Exploration Hub was at the top of our list of places to check out. We were not disappointed! Such an incredible space for young minds to explore/play/learn and get to know one another. This place is an absolute gem!

Our 8 and 5 year old girls did Curio's first ever week of summer day camp and absolutely LOVED it. I worried that it might be too "young" for my 8 year old and that she might be bored, but she came home happy and exhausted, excited to tell us about her day! A really unique, fun option with actives that weren't just recycled from any other typical day camp.

We've visited Curio for a drop in play, and again for a full week of camp, and are obsessed! The different areas to play and create are so unique and fun for a wide variety of ages. Steph + her staff are so upbeat and friendly :)

My two children attended the week long summer camp and it was one of the best camp experiences ever, for them and myself! The correspondence from the camp was outstanding, with daily pictures and updates on their day. My kids were engaged and excited. Both of my children (Aged 5 and 9) have asked to go back, which is what really matters. Thanks for the great week Curio!!!

Such a fun and unique place. My 2 year old who was struggling during covid lockdowns had SO much fun for drop in play when we brought her. It was so amazing to see a big smile on her face and see her interact with other children her age. We also attended an Easter egg hunt that was great. We look forward to going back again soon!!!

We love having a play place for kids in the North end, based around learning not just a ball pit. Thursdays were a glorious morning of mommy yoga with friends while our children got to play in a safe comfortable environment.

Curio has been a live saver for our family, and busy kiddos! My daughter participated in their drop in program in the Spring, and to say it was a lifesaver for us would be an understatement. During a time of uncertainty, Curio gave her a place to connect, learn, have fun and just be a kid. She was always excited to share all the fun, and enriching experiences she had with me, and felt so comfortable being there. We also attended the toddler coop with my son, who as a busy 3 year old, desperately needed aspace for safe social interaction. Curio has been truly essential to the health and wellbeing of our children over the last few mo the, and were so thankful for Steph for making it available to families!

This place is amazing ! Both our children have greatly benefited from being part of Curio. Our daughter is part of the Day Camp. At first she was nervous to be away from us but once she walked through the Curio doors, she forgot about us and the fun began for her. When picking her up she comes home in a positive mood and always enjoys telling us about the cool things she’s done at Curio. The owner, Stephanie is also a pleasure to deal with and cares so much about the children. She takes time to get to know the children. If you have children that need to be engaged, send them over to Curio. You will be glad you did!

My very extroverted 3-year old just loved being dropped off at Curio's preschool program as a way to gain some independence, and especially, a little social time during a year when that was so limited for her due to the pandemic. As a parent, I was also grateful for the opportunity for her to participate in such a program once weekly as a way to prepare her for kindergarten, rather than having to commit to more days of care.

My daughter attended Curio Exploration Hub camp and absolutely loved it. She was nervous at first, especially during Covid. She had not been away from our family or inside anywhere for the past few months. Steph from Curio made her feel welcomed and helped ease her fears. My daughter had so much fun and learned so much that she wanted to go back everyday. She still talks about how much fun she had. My two girls attended Camp Curio this week and had an absolute blast. The activities they did were so creative, fun and have really boosted my kids' imagination. The camp provided amazing nutritional meals, snacks, and a clean safe environment to play. I was fully comfortable and satisfied with the covid-19 precautions they had in place. Stephanie is a joy to speak with, you can tell she genuinely loves working with children. They brought home adorable crafts, and an amazing sensory kit that they have used over and over again every day since bringing it home. cant say enough. thank you for bringing such happiness to my children in such a challenging time!!!! I am so grateful.
