Beautiful tour guided by a young boy who grew up there and "there in". Lots of BEAUTIFUL OLD "patentes" to see for "patenteux and breteux", or for lovers of beautiful old things of yesteryear ???? (Original) Il faut réserver à l'avance pour avoir un tour guidé, et je trouve que le tour guidé est important si vous voulez savoir l'histoire derrière le Village, les objets et les personnes qui ont vécus à cette époque (on voit à quel point la vie était différente, et TRÈS difficile!). Beau tour guidé par un jeune garçon qui a grandit là et "là dedans". Beaucoup de BELLES VIEILLES "patentes" à voir pour des "patenteux et breteux", ou pour des amateurs de belles vieilles choses d'antan ????

The entrance fee is the same, with or without a guide and we were refused the guide because we didn't have 2 hours of time ... It's 2 hours long! A step back in time to better understand the journey of these pioneers. We were fortunate to have met young Eliot (who was very nice and very professional) for the guided tour. He was able to make us relive the experience of the first forest workers who are part of the heritage of our past. The kids loved it! A great opportunity to pass on our history to the younger generations :) (Original) Visite très étonnante et fort intéressante de ce camp de bûcherons qui a fait partie de l’industrie forestière au début du XXe siècle dans la Côte-Nord. Un retour dans le temps pour mieux comprendre le parcours de ces pionniers. Nous avons eu le bonheur d'avoir fait la connaissance du jeune Éliot (qui était fort sympathique et très professionnel) pour la visite guidée. Il a su nous faire revivre l’expérience des premiers travailleurs forestiers qui font partie de l'héritage de notre passé. Les enfants ont adoré ! Une belle occasion de transmettre notre histoire aux jeunes générations :)
