The museum focuses on the Acadians but there is a whole exhibition on the Mi'kmaq ... In general, I would say that this museum is to be seen but be careful not to spend a lot of time there, it can quickly tire us. There is a permanent exhibition on the 2nd floor and a temporary exhibition on the ground floor, which in my visit was about the holocaust. Nice museum to learn about the beginnings of la Gaspesie and how the first French immigrants settled to make this great place. All the information comes in French and English and they have also exhibitions with paintings, tools from the era, toys, etc. It transports you to their times and see what all this people passed through and still they’re standing.
