Unfortunately the museum was closed when we got there but really enjoyed the great views from the hilltop. We've heard so many good things about this museum that we'll be back to check it out.

Great spot to learn the history of the region and get a peak into the lives of those who came before and made a life from the land and community. The staff here are welcoming and knowledgeable. Prices are very reasonable with donations going to support the museum. Don't miss this when visiting Twillingate.

GREAT stuffed polar bear exhibit and the story around it.also Heritage knitted goods amazing prices. we also learned from staff there to pick partridgeberries and blueberries right outside of the museum

Unexpected educational experience at Durrell museum. Highlighting many aspects of its cultural heritage: cod fishery, working and living conditions in the 19th early 20th centuries with many relative artifacts of the period. Offers beautiful home made Nfld. quilts and many other knitted products. Cost $3.00 for adults; $1.50 for children. Exceptional scenery and photo opportunities outside the museum of Durrell and Twillingate.

What an amazing museum, gallery & gift shop!! The location of this museum high atop a hill gives you a view that is unparalleled! The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to help!! While in Twillingate this place is a must see!!
