We hired Popeyes to move our office. They moved us in half the time we expected it would take, and their quote was less than half of what I was quoted from other places. They paid attention to the small details and ensured we were happy. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again for a move in the future.

Great experience using Popeyes. Truck was clean and on time! The movers were exceptional at their job. Very careful with your property, but fast and friendly at the same time. Would recommend them to anyone including my family. They'll be my first call next time. Not my third.

Pleasant and efficient. They got the job done quickly and well, and took care with my belongings. They had to take my washing machine up a narrow staircase and managed to do it without any damages to the machine or the wall. The guys were very polite and friendly. The price was right too.

Popeye’s movers just finished my short move and I have nothing but praise for how down to earth, respectful and professional the 2 men were. Originally the quote was for 2-3 hrs but it only took them an hour and a half and was charged accordingly. Great price, great service, would not hesitate a second to use them again.

I have never left a poor review anywhere ever but the many negative situations today has earned the owner of this company. My mom was given an approximate quote of $$ for moving a two bedroom apartment and in the end was charged double and on top of that two of their leather couches were ripped and damaged. ( when asked how much of a discount would be given for two damaged couches he offered $100.00)????? Owner responded to the damaged leather saying that they could have wrapped them but that would have cost us 10.00 per item...we were never offered this option and would of course chosen to protect our furniture. When asked why the cost had doubled the owner responded that it had been a tough move and it was +34 outside and the guys were working hard. To this it has to be noted that the men working today were very polite, hard workers. The two bedroom apartment was moved in a whopping 7 and half hours!!!!!!! Completely unacceptable. It took that long and that was with four of us helping unload the truck. To top it off while discussing the insane cost of their services, the owner made fun of an expression on my face. I was convinced that he wouldn't actually be so unprofessional to do so so I asked him "are you making fun of me"? To which he replied by mocking my facial expression yet again, which confirmed this owners complete lack of respect and professionalism. I actually could go on a bit more but this should be enough.

When I did my apartment move these guys were great and I therefore recommended them to my boss when we did an office move. The move was great BUT they caused some damage to the new office which was agreed our landlord would supply the paint but they were to provide someone to repair the damage, We have called, we have written, to DATE no one has responded. I am very disappointed and will not be recommending them to anyone in future. Followup is as important as the actual job if not more so as it builds confidence in your service - Going the extra mile!!

We had an excellent experience. All the movers were hard working and very accommodating and friendly. A couple of our shovels were accidentally left behind in the truck and they were found and brought back to our house the next day.

One mover made personal phone calls from the truck while on the clock being paid an hourly rate... The Movers scratched the floor moving a treadmill and didn't use blankets. Then they blamed me to their boss mark on the phone while trying to settle the dispute. Totally unprofessional. Would not recommend at all. Company was uninterested in fixing the floor so it cost us more to repair their mistakes. Would recommend checking out their BBB rating so you can see who you're working with. I also question all these other reviews who have ONLY ever reviewed popeyes and gave them 5 stars....

I had Popeye's Movers do my move last June and heard they were good to do business with. Hamish & Mickey did the entire move in less than 7 hours. These guys worked non-stop and were super efficient ! I am not going to write a 10 page letter here . . . . . bottom line, best choice I made hiring this company! I just had to tell people in how I was so impressed with Popeyes movers. I have a habit of looking at reviews. So I called them up and wow was Mark so nice to chat with on the phone. Not pushy like other movers could be. I set up a date and time for his movers Hamish and Mickey to come and move my brother and wow they packed their truck and they moved my brother to his new place. They were so nice and not pushy. Moved his furniture to where he wanted it to be put. Wow Popeyes will be called again if I ever need them. I will recommend them to all I know that need a mover.Thanks again guys.

I hired Popeyes to move a fridge and stove from one house to another. The movers attended without proper equipment and dropped the stove at the bottom of the stairs, causing damage. The manager was contacted on speaker phone by the movers and myself to negotiate a reduction in price for the damages to the stove and proceeded to swear at the drivers and belittle myself as the client (not realizing initially he was on speaker phone). WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Worst experience ever for movers. They were paid to move a list of items I had and movers did not because I had other help. Cost me more because I had to get Shortline to pickup their slack. Called the owner and never got money back for what those guys didn't do. They left me high and dry when I was alone with my kids. The owner had the nerve to tell me I should of tossed them an extra $100 to move the stuff they were already supposed to do! They guys were unprofessional and talking about inappropriate adult topics around my children. Disgusting company and I am surprised they are still in business. Was a while ago when this happened but I wanted to make sure I left the review they deserve. THEY SUCK! February 9, 2019: No the issue was not resolved. I was suggested I should have paid more to them on the side/under the table to make them move what they were already paid to do. Also, the damage they did to my wall is still there. It also does not take away the fact they were discussing innappropriate topics around my child. I was not even given an apology to say the least.
