The problem that I seem to have had is my locker got broken into and I've fallen behind in my paymentsbecause of everything going on including that crisis with the colvin 19 they would not allow me to make payments for my unitI had to pay the storage unit in full to get my belongings out this was the only way I could get my stuff out of storage but besides this matterI paid my insurance and did not collect any money for my belongings that got stolen nor was I allowed to see what was stolen after the break-in

I love U-haul. You can visit the place and rent a truck with fair price. Customer service are very welcoming to your inquiries. English is the language spoken in the location. Make sure you return the truck you rented clean. In this way you can avoid extra charges. I recommend U-haul.

Terrible service. I had an appointment for 2:00 and made sure I was a bit early. I was having a hitch & bike rack installed. I left there at 5:00, 3 hours later. I was made late for my next appointment. There is nowhere to sit while waiting, no chairs, no beverages, no waiting area. Zilch. When you are in line for the cashier you can hear the person with the cashier. giving out their personal information. I found the lack of privacy very uncomfortable. Understaffed, so whenever a customer came in the person on cash would have to leave & assist that person. I regret dealing with this company.

Horrible. Worst service. Disrespectful. Caused my family so much stress and frustration. The fact that I stored my things here and within 3 days I get a call saying they had a flood. Ruined a couch set, bed, expensive rug, along with things that can't be replaced with money. Insurance covered nothing. Thanks for all the pain and suffering

Absolutely not professional service. When I arrived for scheduled hitch installation I was told parts are not there. They re-schedule for few days later. Prior coming for the second time I called and asked to ensure that parts are arrived. I had confirmation that only hitch is there but wiring is not there yet. I agreed for hitch installation only [without harness]. When I came for the second time I was told that parts are not here again. The conversation was done between several people and I didn't hear any apologize. Very disappointed and I would not recommend this place for doing business.

Always deal with store staff directly. Do NOT use the Website for chat with problems or information. Website staff is in Arizona & they are unfamiliar with the Canadian banking system. Manager April was super helpful when I had a billing issue created by a staff member on their real time chat. It may have taken an hour but April did everything possible to straighten out the mess made by USA staff.

You can pre-book online to make sure what you want is available saving you a wasted trip. Once there the check out is quick and there is someone outside to help hook the trailer up, or make sure you understand how the truck works. Top notch staff!

They did not give clear instructions on how to self return the truck after hours. Truck doesn't even show up when I look up my contract #. After calling customer service, They said I have to make an account and download the uhaul app. (Can't even find this app in the play store) customer service said its not their fault and its in the agreement you need to use the app. Also said my truck isnt supposed to be returned til midnight. Not sure why my return time matters as long as its not late. Which was not. Making a password for the account they ask for too much. Like who really is going to try hacking into my uhaul account? Guess I'll lose $20 as part of my deposit rather than trying to go through this headache.

I have rented truck from U-Haul a couple of times and always their service is on point. From booking a truck to handing it back is simple, easy and fast which is one of the main thing for me. They also provide storage spaces at affordable rates and kind of security they provide I don't think I will consider anyone else. Overall good experience.

made an appointment to have a trailer hitch installed on my SUV. Received a call from uhaul an hour before my appointment to tell me that the parts didn't show up and that my appointment is being suspended. was told they have no clue when parts will arrive. disappointing considering i can go to a different local company and have the parts installed same day while i wait and not to mention the other place is $40 cheaper then Uhaul, just thought because uhaul is a big name i could trust to do the job correctly. unfortunately they will not be getting my business.

I rented a 5' wide trailer, and it is only 52.5" wide between the corrugated sides, huge disappointment. It did not work for my use, so I returned it. I was told I would be getting a refund, but I am now looking at the paperwork and I was only refunded the cost of the insurance, not the trailer rental. The fact that I was rented equipment that is incorrectly advertised, than lied too by the attendant tells me all I need to know about uhaul. Never again. In addition to my trailer experience, I also found the pre check-in process upsetting. I made and confirmed my order online, I provided my credit card when ordering. During the online check in I had to confirm the purchase on my credit card. When I went in, the attendant insisted I did not already pay, and took my credit card again. So at this point I need to wait for my credit card statement to update to see if I was double charged. I dont see why the online process confirmed my credit card just to have to repeat the process in person.

The agreement was 2 days rental 407kms pick up from Brampton, Ontario and drop point at Windsor, Ontario. storage agreement: Heated storage size: 6ft weight, 10 ft hight, 14ft length price $69.95 monthly at 1508 Walker Road Windsor, Ontario .( note"will fit your 20ft truck stuff") A day before the pick up I called and they changed the location, had to drive a bit over 1 hour away to pick up the uhaul truck, July 27 2019 at 9am from Alliston, Ontario this was not the agreement. I was delayed, I received the truck around 10:10am Uhaul failing on there promises. i couldn't make it to the storage before 7pm to 1508 Walker Road Windsor, Ontario because they close at 7pm and can not get my storage. So I made my sister inlaw to go get the storage for me, she showed him the reference # and they gave her a 5X10X10 storage for $124.95monthly instead of 6x10x14 for $69.95monthly . Got there around 9 pm Saturday july 27 2019. additional had to pay extra $10 for 24hours service to get access to the storage.I saw the storage was very small not something will fit a 20ft truck stuff. I called customer service and they said we can't do anything right now so I told them I'm going to leave the truck in the warehouse until I get a solution. I need a storage that fits a 20ft truck thats what was my agreement. The Manager(April.C) at the store was very rude and not helpful she said " we don't have any bigger storage as of now and bigger will cost you more. also what i can do is credit you $50 and go find ur own storage". On Monday U-haul I got me a storage located at 1058 Walker Road size 10x15x10 $248.54 monthly. No opinion, forced me to choose, pay for the storage or leave the stuff in the truck and pay $45.20 A Day. i had to move the stuff in the storage, I had to take work off, i had to make my brother move my stuff and my dad helped too. cost me money not going to work. Also i got charged extra day $45.20 for u-haul rental truck. This is unacceptable and i expect a resolution to this situation.

Went in on Saturday for hitch 11.30 am. Guy didn’t show. Rescheduled to 100 pm. Guy snapped bolt for hitch. Than decided needed to go on break. Was advised could take another hour. Wiring not done yet. Rescheduled 8.00 am Monday. It is now 10.00 am with no follow up from staff on when Job will be completed. 1045 lady comes out says have to take bumper off to get to bolt.may take a hour unbelievable. 1145 still nothing. After a Total of almost 9 hours the job done. Hope the fricken thing don’ fall off LMJ

If I could give zero stars I would. My wife and I hired a UHaul Ubox for our move from Southwestern Ontario to BC. From the start our experience with UHaul has been a nightmare. On delivery day (Aug. 10) the driver went to the wrong address - we did not receive a phone call from the driver or depot asking for clarification on address or confirmation they had our correct address. After calling them 3 times over a period of 5 hours inquiring as to the status of our Ubox it arrived 6 hours late. Our box was due to ship Aug. 12. A week after our box was supposed to ship out we contacted UHaul for tracking information as we were unable to locate our box (Aug. 19). We were told our box has not yet shipped - the representative we spoke with could not offer a reason as to why our box was still in Windsor. After being transferred to 8-10 different departments we were told our box would not ship for another 3 days (Aug. 22) - 2 days prior to when our box was originally supposed to arrive in BC (Aug. 24). A manager was not available to help with our concerns as they were “dealing with a flood” and could not help us for even 5 minutes. My wife and I are both due to start new jobs on Aug. 26th (Nurse & Physiotherapist)- all of our professional clothing and clinic supplies, along with our bed & basic necessities are in the Ubox. We will now have to pay for accommodations for 12 days at $150/night (the cheapest accommodation in Vancouver we could find) as Uhaul has only now shipped our Ubox and estimates is arriving Sept 4th which is 12 after it was suppose to arrive. Accountability for this situation is simply being passed along to the next customer service rep and we are being told “someone” will contact us. It has been 5 days since notifying Uhaul of the situation with no contact from Uhaul as we continue our drive across Canada. We understand sometimes things happen, however how this situation is being handled is completely unacceptable. Moving forward, we expect Uhaul to take responsibility for not only the delay in shipping our box, but the added costs we will now incur. This has set us back in our careers as we now have to take time off of work when the box arrives and to move. We will also now need to rent a moving truck as our original moving help will no longer be available due to this delay. This is a further added cost. This is completely unacceptable.

U-Haul has been the only company I've rented trucks from for all of my moves in the last 30 years. So, when my truck wasn't available for the time I reserved this past Mother's Day weekend the staff worked hard to try and locate one in the area. Unfortunately, the only suitable and available truck was out of town requiring me to drive out to pick it up and bring it back to the city. The staff discounted my truck rate for the inconvenience, provided additional mileage and customer service even reimbursed for the extra fuel I incurred. Things happen. But U-Haul made the moment right. Highly recommend!
