I haven't used the self storage but I have rented a U-Haul and bought boxes here. The people working here are always friendly and helpful. Fyi you get a discount if you buy more than $100 in boxes. At least I did, your mileage may vary.

I would give 0 star if there is one. The man there had a bad attitude and was so rude. I rented a Uhaul truck for 24 hours and he made us to return 2.5 hours early without letting us know. It completely ruined our moving plan. Very bad experience with Uhaul service. I will not come to this location ever again.

I can’t say enough good things about this facility. There have been some terrific upgrades recently, and as a very long-time customer, I really notice all they are doing. That said, the very best thing about this business is the people! What a wonderful staff. They clearly like what they do, and have fun too. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I came in seeing there in my community! As a business owner I believe in supporting your community. Came in had a great experience with a gentleman purchased boxes etc... came in again to view lockers and pick one. I was extremely upset when I came in due to a sick animal I was dealing with. (As well all know when we are in heart break we still need to keep moving and making decisions) when I stated sorry I was dealing with something another gentleman was amazing and told me the stories he had dealt with. Was extremely comforting and kind and helpful! Stated I would be in the next morning to set up a locker for the following week. When I came in Larry told me to go and rent a truck and storage at Sunnyside. I was completely confused why I was told to go to the competition. I left confused. Called back to just book the storage, asked why I was sent to another facility. Instead of apologizing Larry proceeded to tell me he had no lockers. Confused and heartbroken I would be treated in such a unkind manor. Always respectful and a successful business owner I am still confused at what happened. Clearly your not allowed come in with a broken heart or tears in your eyes. I certainly would not recommend anyone to rent here. I have never taken the time or wanted to write something negative about someone or a place. Everyone has bad days. This was not a bad day for Larry this is how he feels it’s ok to treat people. Wow!

I was thrilled when we started here. The cost is higher then other places however its clean, monitored and secure and heated. We were only keeping stuff in storage while we are in between sales of our homes so not planning on staying long. All good! We were told when we were debating signing up that we get a moving truck FREE for a one time use, all we needed to pay was for gas. This is fantastic. We signed up that day as thats a huge cost and will make moving stuff out easier. I just called to book their truck for moving our stuff out and turns out that is not the case. Karen, who turns out to be new, told us a lie and the truck is only offered as a move-in incentive and not available when you want it. We are not able to use the truck at all as its a move out not a move in. Seems like there is a huge miscommunication going on here and as nice as the facility is, its not worth the cost. There are other heated, secure and monitored self storage places for cheaper. Use that saved money on a moving truck.

I have been renting storage from White Rock/South Surrey for several years. It is a convenient location and the facility is very secure. I am a home stager and often need additional space or have special requests. I cannot count the times the staff (Bill especially) have gone above and beyond. Nicole the Manager runs the place very efficiently and everyone that works there are super accommodating and friendly. They tell me I am a "VIP customer" but I think everyone gets the VIP treatment!

All of them are ral, riendly, and the "people' you want to be around in your neighbourghhood. Honestly...these people make the differece between a storange unit and "your place where you store your stuff"! People make the difference! These are excellent people!!! Go talk to Nicole or Peter...or any one of thier staff! Tell me I am wrong!! These folks are professional, genuine...Caring!...and, helpful. You will be amaed at their concern for you! Doesn't matter your colour, your gender, your...what-ever!! ...kid you not; these folks are genuine!! Been here since end of April 2019...loving tht they are "family"! U-Lock Mini Storage is a 5 star facility. The whole place is clean and well maintained. There are many options for locker rentals, small-large, indoor and outdoor access. Upon the rental of a locker you may use their moving truck for 1 day free of the rental charge, you just pay the gas. Some minor restrictions apply. For some people this is very helpful and a generous offer from U-Lock. Their hours are a bit limited so U-Lock is not for everyone but the Security is by far better than anywhere I've had storage in the past. There are always staff members on site and they are a great group of people, friendly, helpful and fun. I definitely recommend U-Lock Mini Storage!

After doing more research and comparisons with other storage places, I decided to rent here, and have gone from a very large to a small storage space at U-Lock. I am very happy I did. Amazingly the burnaby location was able to do that. Guy who called was also rude. Maybe learn how to work google if your going to shut down?

A shout-out to the crew at U-Lock Mini Storage in White Rock! They get 5 Stars for getting me in the driver's seat of one of their Penske Truck rentals. A very special shout-out to the beautiful and lovely Nicole who made it all happen. It was a Sunday morning with very few places open and even fewer of the size truck I urgently needed for my business. Just when it was starting to look like it wasn't going to happen, Nicole worked her magic and pulled a rabbit out of a hat and located one for me! And even had it delivered while I waited at their location. Awesome service! All the staff were super friendly and helpful! Look no further you've come to the best place!

Peter and Bill went beyond expectations to make our transition of moving , storing and moving again , an easy experience. We had two lockers and had to clear out one last month , came in late and Bill walked over to open the gate for us ( we had just bought another item for the house reno) he didn’t need do that , as he also had an event that night but he still opened the gate , let us go in and drop off the items and then waited while we scurried.Great guys, always smiling and as moving is always a stressful time , nice to have a friendly face to assist and accommodate you . My son rented a storage unit and a U-Haul rental truck. The staff is personable enough, but not overly helpful. They neglected to give him any access instructions to his storage unit when we first checked in. He was given keys which we thought was all he needed to access his storage unit, even after-hours. When we showed up just after closing hours (8 pm), it was locked and we had no access nor any after-hours phone number to call for customer service. It was only when he showed up the next morning at opening, that they gave him the access instructions and the proper keys. Because of this lapse in customer service, he had to rebook his flight for another day, costing him over $500. Similarly, when we picked up the U-Haul truck the woman behind the counter (same woman who gave us the wrong keys) couldn't even help us with how to change/move the side view mirrors. She said that they're a small operation and really only have two trucks, which seemed to be enough of an excuse for not helping us acclimate to driving a truck. We had to google how to move the side view mirrors. In my opinion, if they're going to rent trucks to the public, their customer service agents should know the basic functionality of them. Since we had to keep the truck longer than the rented time (due to not having the correct keys for access to the storage unit) they didn't charge us for the overage, which was one small concession. However, it doesn't make up for the extra $500 we paid in rebooking his flight. My advice; be sure to ask about every single detail, as they won't offer it, and be sure you are familiar with driving trucks.

We tried another place before this one. I suggest you learn from our experience and never go anywhere else. This place is pest free, staff are awesome and it is climate controlled. Great security and access. It may be a little more pricy than the other rat and bug infested storage places, but your stuff will be primo at the end.

Most recently, Larry and Don were able to help me get into a more suitable space as my needs changed. The process was smooth and the price was reasonable.
