He handled my things with care, and the rates are very fair and transparent with no hidden/added fees. I will definitely use Orca Moving again and happily recommend them to others.

I contacted Dave at Orca well in advance of my move date for availability and pricing. His response was quick, and after providing a few details gave a very reasonable quote, and we scheduled a date. Fast forward to moving day, the truck arrived on time, and despite the rain the movers were friendly the entire time. The move went carefully and efficiently, and when it came time to settle there were no hidden fees or surprises. I will definitely use Orca again, and recommend them to anybody needing a mover. Based on the display of poor driving I just witnessed, in snow conditions no less, I'm not sure I would trust someone from this company to move or deliver for me. it started with the driver flying up beside me in the right hand lane on 24th Ave, and cutting me off when their lane ran out, and was quickly followed by the driver being too impatient to slow down for someone turning right at an intersection, resulting in coming close to rear ending the turning car AND illegally passing the not-yet-turned car in the left turn lane. all of this happened in a four block stretch of street, and has the driver not turned off 24th shortly afterwards, I am fairly certain I would have been treated to even more displays of wanton disregard.

Quickest response on quote enquiries in Tri-cities and surrey area. Take the stress out of arranging a stressful move. And after the move, everything was given the greatest of care, I had labeled all the boxes, and I found all the labeled boxes in the spaces they were labeled for. Speedy service. Made multiple and additional stops to pickup new furniture. All still priced as quoted. Best deal especially when 7 other companies didn't even give me the time of day.

Dave came the same day I called...picked up furniture at an auction house in Richmond and brought it to me in Walnut Grove in Langley. I paid $150 cash which was excellent as it was going to cost almost $100 to rent a pickup to get it myself.

From getting a quote, to scheduling the moving date and time and all the details, to renting totes, to the cost of the service...everything went incredibly smoothly! Dave is a breeze to work with, striking a refreshing balance of professionalism with friendliness and understanding. He listened to our needs and offered gracious solutions. He and his team arrived on time the day of the move, and handled our possessions with care without sacrificing speed. They had us moved in half the time we had experienced with other companies in the past! We also appreciated that he had tote rental available, so we could feel good about using less boxes and tape. And all of this for a price that could not be beat! Contents in stored boxes on a one bedroom for one single person move on May 31st, 2019, from Near Vancouver General Hospital, to Uptown New Westminster, BC for all day, from 10:00 AM to 6:00PM. Owner of Orca came alone with no Assistant, and the Building was with Elevator, but he was Very Slow & upon checking down to his Work, I found my New Sofa Cushions were Used as Door Stoppers, which was upset and I removed them and placed the Building Door Stoppers. Being that he had no helper, the Sofa Bed Leg was damaged by door entrance with force by him to move it in. In conclusion, I had to file a police report on my 'Old Bank of Canada Old Uncut $2.00 Dollar Mint Money Frame' that was missing from my large Extensive Bag of Picture Frames Taped Up. This was the worst upsetting move, as I have moved before with my Monetary Uncut $2.00 Dollar Frame, that was Included with all Other Frames.

Don’t hire this company, At least two of my furnitures were damaged beyond repair. Hire a mover who are professionals who will treat your property as their own and take care of it. It took them 7.5 hours to move a 2 bedroom apt costing us $760 plus the extra charge from strata for the time exceeded in moving.
