Hire with confidence! We were fortunate to have Gurpreet and his crew move our entire 5 bedroom house into temporary accommodations. It was an arduous job for them but they worked hard and fast to get everything packed safely and did so with smiles on their faces. I used Maksal to do a small move on April 24 2021 - I moved approximately a small 2 bedroom house worth of stuff only about 5 minutes down the road. I got estimates from a few different companies, and Maksal's estimates were very similar to the others. Without much to go on in terms of price, I chose Maksal based on these positive reviews. On the day of my move, the Maksal movers were on time, polite, and professional. Everything went smoothly. I was a little disappointed that it took longer than I'd hoped, and therefore costed more than I'd hoped, as they charge per hour. I ended up at the very top end of their original estimate, which I guess is fair enough. It took two guys 5 hours to move me. Still, I was very grateful not to have to do all that work myself or try to call in favors from friends. Thank you, Maksal!

I recently had a smaller move within South Surrey/ White Rock and it couldn’t have gone smoother. The movers were prompt, there was great communication with everyone from the company, all of our stuff arrived in perfect order and condition. I have moved at least 10 times within the local area and this was the best experience I’ve ever had with a moving company. I was quoted based on what was appropriate for my move and so the cost was exactly as expected and very transparent along the way. I will recommend Maksal Moving to everyone I know ! Gurpreet and his team did such an amazing job with our move. Firstly, he responded so quickly and professionally via phone and email. He also was excellent at communicating everything down to the ETA the day of moving. Him and his team showed up on time and moved everything well. We had a couch that we weren't sure was going to fit in our new home. Him and his worker angled it flawlessly and made it work when we were sure it wouldn’t work. We have had movers in the past that weren’t good at communicating and also very slow the day of moving. Gurpreet and his team worked so hard and quickly to ensure we stayed in our budget. I was very impressed with their service and have recommended them to everyone we know!

This past weekend we had the daunting task of moving. As anyone knows this can be one of the most stressful tasks in one’s adult life. Not only did we have the stress of moving, we did it during the most unprecedented rain event in Vancouvers history. Our move was scheduled a few weeks out from moving day and the team at Maksal could not have been more helpful, considerate, and proactive. They messaged frequently leading up to the move to encourage us, remind us of the “big” day. The movers showed up on time and were physically more than up for the task. They were very polite and despite the torrential rain worked smoothly and efficiently. Both sides of the move went without a hitch (again did I mention the rain). I couldn’t recommend this team any more highly than I’ve tried to explain. If we move again (please let’s not) it will most certainly be with Maksal Moving.

I’ve used this moving company now 2 times. Once for a delivery of a fridge at my house. They couldn’t get the fridge out and ended up having to take everything apart. They were patient, super calm and wanted to help get it out. I couldn’t believe how hard they worked. Then I just moved from our condo to my new townhouse with lots of narrow stairs. Again their patience and calming nature gave me confidence, helped me relax in as super stressful time. They wanted to make sure I was happy and that everything was done well. They did all this in this crazy heatwave!! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They took the time to wrap our furniture, and were very careful with all our items and made sure nothing was damaged. We recently moved and used Maksal moving. They were efficient, on time and well organized. Gurpreet was very professional throughout the process. Our personal belongings and furniture were handled with care and they were tactful and creative in getting my impossible bed out of my old home into my new one. They even put my bed back together, and were able to help us put together pieces of furniture which they hadn't even moved together before leaving. Our family had a move scheduled with another moving company on what was to be the hottest day recorded - we attempted to communicate with that company to see if another day would work better and they did not return our calls but did show up at their scheduled time on the day of the move. However, after their first load (of just boxes and other knick knacks) they told us it was much too hot and they would not be continuing! They said they could continue in a few days - this would not work for us due to possession and occupancy of the rental unit we were moving out of. The fellas just got in their moving truck and left despite knowing they were leaving us with no alternative plan. We called Gurpreet and explained our situation - he and his partner already had two jobs to do that day but they agreed to help us out. Gurpreet couldn't help us until 6pm but met us in a good mood and ready to work. Their attitude was kind and professional despite the fact that temperatures reached 45 degrees on this day and they were clearly tired from a full day of jobs. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. They really helped us out when we were in a tough spot - we would recommend this company to any one who needs a moving for delivery service. It was a pleasure to work with you Gurpreet!

Perfect experience! We've received quote within 15 min of requesting. Guys have sent us notices several days in advance of the moving day to confirm an appointment. They were on time, with fully equipped and clean inside truck. Worked efficiently and professionally, being very careful with furniture, the floors surface and walls. Showed up just early enough to be able to start work exactly at the specified time. Asked the right questions and got to it. They were fast and carful with all our belongings, making sure to pack them securely. Upon arrival at the new house it was a quick walk through to show them were things were to be placed and boom, they were at it again and finished right before quoted time of completion. Professional, courteous, friendly, punctual and value priced for services provided. I've had horrible experiences with movers in the Vancouver area and have read hundreds of reviews (most of them fake) from other moving companies but these guys are the real deal. Moving is very stressful and I would like to thank Maksal for taking most of the stress out of ours.
