I’m a firm believer that “customer service” has evolved into “guest EXPERIENCE”; after all, it takes years to find a customer, and seconds to lose one. As a very proud new customer of Access Storage (Sudbury), I am sharing my EXPERIENCE so that other may benefit from having similar experiences with their storage purchases! I have been a consumer of storage for over 10 years, so I’d like to think I’m fairly well-versed in service agreements and relationships with storage providers. From the second I spoke to reservations, to the follow up call from the local branch to ensure all of my questions were answered, all the way to my first appointment: WOW! Service standards are second to none. By far one of the best guest experiences in my last 5 years of being a consumer. It is very clear that their service standards are in laser focus and I’m absolutely thrilled about my decision to go with Access Storage. I HIGHLY recommend!!

Pretty good self storage. Getting to the main office is a breeze on Kingsway, but getting to the actual storage centre on Falconbridge and finding how to get in was difficult. I ended up doing a move on a weekend so the office was closed when I had questions on how to get in since the code to the lock was not working. Or so I thought. Thankfully, I called head office and had the on site manager call me back almost immediately with instructions on how to get in since I forgot. In the end it was a very successful move, they even provided hand trucks for easy moving.

We had a daughter move back to Sudbury from Western Ontario on Tuesday 25 January 2022. They had travelled through bad weather conditions, large transport trucks etc.for approximately 4 days. Upon arriving in Sudbury extremely exhausted and overwhelmed about the final task at hand….unloading the U-Haul Trailer. It was obvious quite quickly that additional space was required for their entire family items. While unwinding and having cool refreshments I offered to explore the options of Self Storage facilities close to our residence. I talked to the third party representing Access Storage and was very happy with the representative and her information. I had stressed to her that it was mid afternoon and would we/I be able to preview the facility and spaces that were available. She indicated that she would contact the appropriate people who would contact me “ soon” . I received a call and was told that a representative ( James) would be at the facility to show us what was available and what was involved to complete this chore. James was at the facility and my daughter was also in attendance.The explanations, costs, that James provided were above and beyond the Call.!! A Locker was secured, contents from the U-Haul unloaded,Storage Dilemma completely taken care of….I would estimate from the initial call to securing the Storage Locker and unloading less than 60 minutes. Very Happy with the prompt communication and complete Service on short notice. James and all involved in the communication chain deserve a bonus.!! Well Done, Rolly St. Jean Sudbury, Ontario

so i left sudbury for toronto and had stuff needed to store for couple months. they where great over phone got us a unit it was my first time having storage locker. they where amazing had boxes and all the materials needed. payments smooth and canceled with no issues just phone call done. when i loaded and unloaded lots of room and easy acsess to my stuff. Great staff fair price for me :). Very clean and proffesional id be back but moved out of town.

The representative over phone and at the location were very pleasant to deal with. I was informed of all the policies and guidelines in detail. The pricing is very competitive and great welcoming offer of 4 weeks off! Highly recommend the service! Only feedback is around no lights in the area where the storage located with minor cleaning of old locks or clutter in the area.

A great place to deal with, the customer service is fantastic! The gate pinpad is easy to use, and the 24/7 access to your unit is great. The only complaint I have is that there were no skids available when we were told there would be. So half of my stuff is just on the concrete floor, not raised on skids. Other than that, I've had a great experience here.

Good location and easy rental set up. New facility and locker hallways have no marking, directional signage or maps to show where to proceed. Need to have this completed even if with tape and a marker until permanent signs are up. Could use more loading bays on busy weekends.

My personal experience with access storage has been very disappointing. I've been dealing with access storage Sudbury for approximately the last 4-5 years. I work out of the province and sometimes out of the country, I checked the review as most people would and it seemed alright so why not give them a chance? 1)-From the very beginning, it was very difficult to get a solid communication with their staff as the vast majority of times I called no one would answer. Even going there on sight to speak with someone at times is very difficult, no one at the front office, all you have to do is wait until someone comes back, again that could be a few minutes just like how it can take about an hour or so which is very frustrating, is it that difficult to have one staff member on sight during operating hours? 2)- For the longest time, I did not know when my payments were due, I called a dozen times, requesting a specific day to confirm when my payment was due. The staff explained to me that they did not know exactly the date of my payments and that I would need to check online. I was mind blown for real, we all have cell phones or landlines our providers tell us on which days the payments will come out, auto insurance the same, mortgage the same, auto payment the same, etc. Access storage apparently doesn't which as a result if you don't keep checking you'll get build late fees, I racked out so many late fees DUE TO NOT KNOWING WHEN MY PAYMENTS WERE DUE. 3)- payments- So attempting to make payments with a via debit card ( Mastercard) was not added to their system until recently. Forcing the consumer to either get a debit visa or simply pay with their credit card. The number of times I called their staff inquiring about their payment methods, I was told it worked, I tried and it didn't. I have a dozen of screenshots of the error messages I got while attempting to pay with a debit Mastercard. I went to my bank to get my card replaced just to find out that the issue was not on my end but theirs. Again had I known this from the very start then perhaps I would' ve used discretion before engaging with this franchise. What franchise doesn't accept debit Mastercards??? 4)-Last week I was fortunate enough to catch a staff member when I called in. I had to follow up with my storage unit and had an agreement with a staff member. I won't say any names, however, I also recently received an email from access storage advising that everyone who hadn't or hasn't paid their late fees will get there property auctioned off, which again is completely different from the discussion I had with that staff member. Overall I'm very disappointed with the service I paid for, communication is very poor, the staff isn't necessarily up to date with the current info to pass on to Customers. Regardless if you live in the area and are storing small stuff then, by all means, go ahead, I would not recommend it. If you reside outside the city or work out of town and or out of province for long periods then DO NOT ENGAGE WITH ACCESS STORAGE. I'll have to assume that the whole franchise operates the same way. My family, friends, and community will be aware of this and we will be taking our business elsewhere once the site reopens. The main issue with this franchise is communication discretion is highly advised**

They overcharge and do not take care of customer concerns. Lights have burned out in 2 hubs for the last couple of months, we have expressed the need for florescent bulbs to be changed and nothing has been done and our prices have gone up. Poor service, so what are we paying higher for?

The young man, James, that I spoke to was extremely accommodating and willing to provide us with as much information as we required. Getting very pricey I think close to 10% increase this year alone I've been there since 1997 North side of the units doors are quite often frozen so I'am forced to use south door but access is tight because of all these storage Cubes
