If I could rate them ZERO stars I would. DO NOT USE ALLEGIANCE. Run away fast. Ryan the Sales guy will promise you the world with vague overarching comments & assurances that they will take care of everything. COMPLETE LIES. It's obvious their sales game plan is to low ball your quote so when you price match against other companies, they come in the lowest & with Ryan pretending to be friendly and helpful, you sign the contract. The MINUTE the contract is signed Ryan disappears and is not responsive. When he final responds, he pushes you to their "customer service" line. Calling the woman who answers the phone "customer service" is the biggest joke you will ever hear. She's rude, not helpful, defensive, combative, automatically puts all calls on hold for minutes at a time. It's clear she's the only one in "customer service" - it sounds like she is answering the phone in her car or in her trailer park while relighting a cigarette. DO NOT USE THEM. - The final cost of the my move was DOUBLE the quote - 4 different companies ended up touching my move with none of them listening to me or helping me with any questions - There is no consideration for you, your circumstances, or your belongings. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE from anyone. - If I could take it all back, I would have hired local movers to load a U-Haul truck, then hired someone to drive it to my destination, then hired local movers to unload. THINK long & hard about this option before hiring any long distance company. It will save you thousands of dollars & stress. DO NOT USE ALLEGIANCE MOVING & STORAGE.

This is one of the WORST moving companies to work with. I would not wish this company on my enemy. Where do I start with the problems? 1. They set a date of pickup to later move it earlier more than their two day window, to later move it back to your original pick up day, to move it one day after and then two days afterwards. And they do it without no care and no regard to your work or personal schedule. 2. They tag on hidden fees without any contact to you. 3. My belongings arrived 2 months late after they promised it would arrive in two weeks. 4. After making 12 calls, they told me “we don’t know where your belongings are”. Then the next day, I get a call saying they are coming tomorrow and you better get off work. 5. They find a way to upcharge you.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! There’s a reason why there are so many 1 star reviews. The lack of communication and proper follow up is shocking. My boyfriend planned our move from TN to NYC with them, and at the initial sign up period he was impressed with their customer service… until the actual week of the move. He was told our delivery date was 7/6. As of 7/5, we hadn’t gotten a confirmation about the details of the time frame for the movers or what moving company will be handling our move. We called, emailed, and left messages, and did not hear anything until the day of our move. I understand the 5th may have been a day when they were closed in observance of the 4th… but if that’s the case we would have liked to know our moving details the week prior. 7/6 comes, no one is letting us know when the movers can come, who the moving company is, and basically leaving us at home all day waiting on a moving company that then never showed. Apparently throughout the day Allegiance was given updates on why the movers couldn’t make it, but this was never communicated to us until we called (we had to call them about 4 times, we never received a call). They tell us our move date will have to be pushed to 7/7, and that our movers will be there between 11-3. On 7/7, we waited until 3, once again no movers. We again have received no communication from Allegiance. We call the movers directly and they said they told someone that their truck was broken down and they weren’t sure if they’d even make it that day, and that if they did, it would still be a 3 hour drive. At this point, we have to again call Allegiance to figure out why this wasn’t communicated to us— they have no real explanation. We ask about what’s going to happen in regards to the deposit we put down considering the movers are missing the 2 day moving period in our contract. Their only response is “no move dates are guaranteed.” So heads up… just because you have a “moving date,” Allegiance clearly doesn’t care. At that point based on this experience and the multiple concerning reviews we’ve read, we decide to cancel our move with Allegiance. Allegiance is a moving brokerage… so the specific moving services they’re providing are organization, inventory, and planning. If that’s the case, they clearly didn’t do their job because even when extenuating circumstances are holding up the movers, it’s never communicated to us unless we called them directly. When we tried to get our deposit back since they literally provided none of the agreed upon services, they said we couldn’t due to the contract. And now, 7/8, after my boyfriend talked to Monica Moore yesterday around 4 pm and canceled our agreement yesterday, we are still getting calls from the canceled movers who are stating no one from Allegiance or the moving company has any record of us cancelling. We should not be dealing with a moving company who is clearly mad they had to make a trip to a place where they’re not performing a move. That’s literally Allegiance’s job. This has been a ridiculous run around… take my advice and spend the extra $$ for some local movers with good reviews that you can trust!

This was a nightmare experience. Please ask questions about the broker role that Allegiance plays in this process. They contract with low quality movers that have bad reviews/reputation which you don't know of until after they arrive. As the consumer you do not know who will be your mover until they pick up your items. Then I found out this company only picks up and stores your items until a 3rd entity is contracted to actually transport to your destination. All my items sat in a warehouse for 30 days before they were delivered. Many items were damaged - dings, dents, broken, etc. It was a disaster and emotionally draining. PLEASE READ the small print in the contract. I would advise do not use this company.

This group of guys was great, highly recommend them. We had a storage unit with them for several years and whenever we needed to access it they were very accommodating and friendly. They will get first shot at our business if we ever move.

Nick Cottrell

Very bad experience. I will never use them again. -Estimate was $1,900, i was charged $2,700 -Didn't show up the day of pickup and didn't even bother to call. -Refused to disassemble, asked for an extra $300 to disassemble (even though it was part of the contract). -At drop-off, requested to be paid in Cash and refused to unload.

Mark Haynes

Even though the whole moving experience was pure hell for me, simply because its too much work and buying our house was so stressful and I never knew what was going on with that. At least I can say that the moving company did a fantastic job and made the actual moving of my items run smoothly. Allegiance picked up our stuff and delivered in a timely manner and treated my items with respect. I would recommend using them but I am done moving for a while!!!

I am not a customer, but called Allegiance 21 times to help my parents (exact number from my call history). They hired Allegiance to help them move from AZ to FL. I received one and only callback during that time Oct18th from Monica, who then proceeded to berate me for the second time that day. Due to the character limit, I can’t get in every detail, so there is some information missing. Allegiance hired Royal Star. Royal Star charged $22,000 more than the original bid bringing total to $40,000. Allegiance blamed my mom. The original bid from Allegiance was for 2647 cubic feet ($18,000). The amount charged was 4300 cubic feet ($40,000). Actual cubic feet was less than 3500 cubic feet based on the size of the delivery truck. Royal Star also included several bogus fees including labor, shuttle, fake taxes, storage, and "bulk." Allegiance said there was nothing they could do. Federal regulations state the broker has to provide a list of potential carriers (which we did not know about initially) and which Allegiance did not do. They have a locked list of carriers on their website which a customer can access if the customer requests the information. I have still not seen this list, and Allegiance has refused to provide it retroactively. This is incredibly evasive. A few days after Royal star showed up to move, they received an Out-of-Service order from FMCSA. On BBB they have a history of unethical practices. Allegiance said, "we've never had problems before." However, they also informed me within a few days after pickup that they were no longer using Royal Star. Since Royal Star had already taken $27,000 and driven off with my family's stuff this obviously did little to console me. August: Royal Star said delivery truck was in CO and would arrive 4-10 business days from Aug 31. September: said truck was in FL and would arrive Sep 11 at 5pm. Sep 11 said "tomorrow." Refused to give me driver’s number. Then I was told the truck broke down in AL or LA. Hung up on me. No one answered my calls for a month. Allegiance could not get ahold of Royal Star. Week of Oct 11 my mother was told by Royal Star the truck was in AZ. Royal Star did not answer calls and hung up repeatedly. I got very little help from Allegiance after calling almost every day that week. On Oct 15 I was told by Joann at Allegiance via email that the delivery would be Oct 18. I asked for the location of the truck. Allegiance refused. I asked for the license plate number. Refused. I asked for the driver's phone. Refused. By Oct 18th Allegiance customer service became hostile and aggressive over the phone. I asked Joann via email for driver's number. Refused. Eventually, Avi (Royal Star) texted my mom Oct 18 that delivery would be Oct 19 at 7am. He refused to give the driver's phone number. He claimed the driver only spoke Spanish. I told him I speak Spanish. He did not respond to texts or calls after that. Oct 19 the delivery truck arrived. I remained on the phone with my mom. I heard my family being threatened by Avi (Royal Star). This was not his first time doing so. I am baffled as to how Allegiance could have ever trusted Royal Star as one of their carriers. I am furious that even now they continue to defend Royal Star. Emotional Distress: I had multiple panic attacks immediately following my conversations with the customer service representatives at Allegiance. This can be confirmed by my health care providers. I feel this is relevant and important to report because I was treated with hostility. In addition, my mother had shingles aggravated by stress. Financial Compensation: I have repeatedly requested a refund of the broker fee, from Allegiance. They offered $200 if the customer agreed to sign a document that accepted this refund as "full satisfaction." This $200 refund is less than 4% of the broker fee they collected before the movers ever even arrived. Unsurprising, we have refused this offer. I do not feel this is resolved. Additionally, we will be filing claims with Royal Star for fraudulent charges, late delivery, and any damages we find.

My experience with Allegiance was great in the beginning when they were trying to get me to sign with them. After that it went down hill. We signed the contract and paid 50% deposit and waited. I never heard from anyone until the Sunday before the scheduled day for pick up which our moving date happened to be Monday, Labor Day 2021. I was told I needed a bank check for 50% of the remaining balance. I explained that the banks were closed on Monday and they were informing me of this on a Sunday, so I couldn't get it for them and why was I just hearing about this now. Well, I was supposed to have received instructions from them weeks prior along with another contract that needed to be signed. I called them back on Monday and advised them that I could get a bank check on Tuesday but they never told me who to make the check out to! Soooo many red flags...After that I called multiple times for many days to find out what was going on and ....crickets....I was on hold for over 30 minutes multiple times or they just wouldn't pick up the phone. We finally contacted our bank and got our deposit back. I realize Allegiance is a broker, but it was their lack of getting me the second contract or even helping me as I was trying to make this move work that makes me not recommend this company. I still have never heard back from anyone concerning this so to me that speaks volumes as to their ethics.

OVER $72,300 in Damaged / Destroyed / Stolen Personal Belongings---USAA insurance agent stated " I've been doing this for 32 years--NEVER have I seen such total destruction" Over 200 pictures to show the blatant disregard for others life-valued property-- . AMOUNT OF DAMAGE WAS INCREDIBLE. Approx. 90% of items were either severely damaged or destroyed. 30% of items were never even delivered. Boxes that were professionally packed with precious and expensive clothing, jewelry, personal items were replaced with Plastic Bags. MY WIFE’S WEDDING DRESS--- carefully sealed in a special container (for over 40 years) was soiled in some type of gas/diesel liquid and tossed in a garage garbage can. Currently in communication with the FL Attorney General coupled with 18 other families with similar stories--- :NOTE: As a former Naval Aviator, Airline pilot and Accident Board member -----7 Military Moves---domestic and International, 4 Civilian Airline Moves——Hardly a scratch!! THIS KIND OF DAMAGE COULD ONLY HAPPEN IN A WRECK, STRONG WIND/STORM, DELIBERANT MALICE / MALICIOUS INTENT----NOT IN A WAREHOUSE--but they would not tell us anything, even after calling BOTH Companies numerous times since. DATE OF PICK UP: NOTE: this date happens to be just one day prior to new movers moving in--- please note that Allegiance stated that this was their ONLY possible day for pickup), a much smaller moving truck (estimated to be only 1450 cu ft) arrived with a driver (Jimmy) stating he was with EAGLE MOVING AND TRUCKING LLC. And that THEY WILL NOW BE THE NEW MOVERS for my furniture. When I stated that I will be contacting ALLEGIANCE MOVING, they specifically said that ALLEGIANCE no longer has anything to do with this. When I stated that my contract is with ALLEGIANCE, they stated that I must now sign a new contract with them —a INTERSTATE BILL OF LADEN with new figures attached. After presenting my entire home for his inspection, he stated that new numbers were generated to account for the additional items that he now has accounted for. I then Specifically asked—with your detailed walk through, and the assigned Binding fee of an additional $3,162 does this now make this a FINAL BILL. He stated yes---in fact, I documented FINAL BILLING notation on BILL OF LADING contract where he finalized the billing for 2,500 cu.ft. coupled with a BINDING FEE/transportation cost totaling $16,787.00 (initial contract with binding fee totaled $8,762.05). Because of time constraints created by their “ONLY DAY AVAILABLE FOR PICKUP”, I had no choice but to sign the BILL OF LADING. EAGLE MOVING then started the uploading. After expressing concerns on how they were loading (i.e. not loading compactly and using ALL available area, Jimmy stated that he had to leave to “offload” the shipment and return with the same small truck to complete loading. When asked where they were taking my partial shipment, his comment was that “it is going to a secure location temporarily until their larger Moving Truck, arriving tomorrow would upload the entire shipment”. NOTE: During the packing and subsequent upload, ALL items were being handled with care and no damage noted. Upon return (approx. 4 hours later), they uploaded remaining items--- and upon completing upload, EAGLE MOVING Representative, Jimmy came in and gave me ANOTHER BILL OF LADING WITH ANOTHER BILLING--- this one being for $20,602.00. (Initial contract $8,762.05, Second Bill of Lading $16,787.00). SHAME ON YOU!!! NOTE: As a former Naval Aviator, Airline pilot and Accident Board member -----7 Military Moves---domestic and International, 4 Civilian Airline Moves——Hardly a scratch!!

If I could give them one star I would. I will continue to write nothing but bad reviews for this company until someone contacts me. DO NOT USE THEM. THERE ARE A SCAM. I am out of $800 because no one from this company will answer when I call and or give me a call back whenever I leave a message. They never showed up to get our stuff and changed the price of our quote and pick up date and time multiple times. AGAIN do NOT do anything with this company

Jonathan Stiles

We did two back to back moves with them. Although they do answer their customer service line their call back with info is poor. Biggest objection is they give you a low bid and then when the movers do arrive (days late in both cases, four hotel rooms added to the move bill) the mover jacked up the price almost double and then hold you hostage to pay and sign THEIR contract. The second move we painstakingly went through the house with Allegiances rep Mike and the movers still jacked the price up another $2,000+. They also tell you in the beginning the items will be there within 10 days. THEN they tell you to read the contract could be 30. Go with Mayflower or one of the big established carriers. By the way this is not a moving company but a broker. You end up dealing with the assigned carrier after the fact. Still waiting on the first truck after 13 days.

Stacie Williams

Allegiance helped keep me sane by coordinating a home goods move for me. I was trying to figure out how to do this on my own and was getting nowhere. Finally, I decided to throw in the towel and leave it to the pros and I’m so glad I did. They did a really good job and delivery was quick and painless.

Megan Roach

TERRIBLE!!!!! I was warned by a friend who tried this company for a recent move, NOT to call Allegiance, but in a bind, I went against this advice. Do not make the same mistake I did. This company is a complete scam. They are dishonest, unreliable, and non responsive. I don’t know how they’re still in business. They’ve literally disappeared with no return call , message, or email….. as I await my belongings. Complete nightmare and total joke of a business.

Isaac Pharris

I have hired Allegiance for two separate moves and they still have yet to disappoint me as a customer. Moving is never cheap, especially when you need to get packing done as well, but I was pleasantly surprised with both of the estimates they gave me and even more impressed by their high standard of customer service.

Jeffrey Patton

The movers worked quickly and meticulously to prepare all of my possessions for the major transfer. I was nervous about sending my valuable antiques, such as my porcelain, to strangers, but they were really attentive, and nothing was harmed! When my things came in perfect condition, I was overjoyed! They made my relocation a million times simpler, and I would suggest them to anybody seeking for a stress-free move!

Yang Su

Allegiance was great to begin with. They gave a great original quote. It is all downhill from there! I sent and more realistic inventory list to them the day after we contracted with them, but never heard back from the "moving coordinator" until 5 days before our move. Our cost more than doubled from the original contract, mostly our fault for not having a more complete list to begin with. We were never contacted that our original move date was not being honored; we called at 3 pm the day before our supposed move only to be "accusingly" told that we were moving during the height of moving season and we were "lucky" to have our 2nd choice date. It went even further south from there. Once the driver packed up our belongings, and we were assured they would deliver the next week, we never heard from anyone again. The driver stopped answering our calls and texts. Allegiance would not help us to get our belongings, other than to tell us, very grudgingly, that the driver would call us the next day.\ (that was day 14) He did not. FINALLY, 25 days later, a different driver (who was great) showed up with our belongings. Oh, and the original driver charged us ANOTHER $3,000 on top of the 2nd contract with Allegiance, that we had to pay in cash!! Please beware!!!

Tina Hunt

Delivery company finally delivered my goods, most of our furniture had mud or grass on it like the stuff was left in a field somewhere before delivery, missing a large TV, 2 mattresses were completely soaked with water the mattress covers I purchased were not on the mattresses and they were ruined. Brand new couch had stains all over it, some furniture actually had footprints on it from someone standing on it, Broken China and missing items that were not on the delivery truck, the delivery people took no pride or care in unloading marked up walls in a my brand new house by throwing boxes against it. I now am supposed to file a claim through the moving company's insurance which uses a third party and allegiance has not been helpful at all, they say they are not to blame that its the moving company. We were also told the moving company's warehouse was affected by Hurricane Ida so that may be the reason for our messy furniture. IT was only after i complained we were told about their warehouse, Id think I should have know about this when it happened not after I saw my furniture and complained. Absolutely no help from Allegiance,. There are plenty of reviews similar to mine listed, we should get s collective lawsuit together against this company, the stories are all the same, their contracted moving companies take no care with peoples belongings and they have no responsibility to help since it was a contracted low budget moving company, good luck trying to recoup anything from these people. Plenty of bad reviews all with similar stories of over charging, ruined belongings, missing items etc and no assistance from allegiance, we should get a collective lawsuit together against them and their deceptive practices and low budget contracted moving companies

Erin Hantz

We’re not an existing customer of your’s because of terrible service, and lack of human decency. My husband was intentionally hung up on by one of your representatives because you all could not accommodate our requested move date. We were flexible, but your rep wasn’t even interested in offering additional solutions. Business must be too good to have general respect for others… for now.

Matthew Teter

PLEASE SEE MY PHOTOS BEFORE BOOKING THROUGH THEM! I used Allegiance to book a long haul moving service, and I WAS SOLD A DREAM!! Everything that I told my rep Anthony that I was concerned about actually happened. Broken items, untrained movers, late delivery, and terrible customer service. It's also important to note that Allegiance will outsource jobs to non-reputable companies that do not care about the quality of your personal items. It would be worth your peace of mind to research a company that owns their own trucks and have skilled movers. AGAIN, PLEASE SEE MY PHOTOS BEFORE BOOKING!!

Frank Petrilli

Although I thought them a bit pricey, I was fairly satisfied with the job that was done. there was only one issue regarding something that may not have gotten transported. They did a great job caring for my furniture. I have no complaints.

Apelila Ambrosio

Terrible high pressure sales and fishy reviews to back them up. I would give them no stars if I could. Rep texted my wife to say her husband (me) was cheap and was going to put our families future at risk! Very unprofessional. And if you go look at the sites the send with good reviews by going to the site directly instead of the link they sent, you'll see so either no review or poor reviews, very sneaky. Check out review on yelp, which are also terrible.

Farrar Startz

RUN FOR THE HILLS! I came across this company after doing some research and decided to use them mostly because they were recommended by Consumer Reports. This is a 3rd party company which means that they don't ship your goods. They bid out your move to other Movers. They claim to offer the lowest prices and they do.... but it's because they PURPOSELY underestimate the amount of cubic feet for the items that you're intending to ship. And once they have your money, good luck trying to get them to respond to any future issues or concerns you may have. Because of work I've moved several times throughout the years and this one was the WORST. Quotes from the other major carriers may be higher, but I believe that you'll still end up paying less overall. But if you still decide to use them I wish you luck because you're going to need it. There's even more to this story, but I'll end it here.

Adrienne DuBarry

I wanted to write a review on my experience, I had planned on it regardless if this went good or bad. The good news is that my move actually went well. My only feedback to everyone, would be to make sure you have the correct inventory. I knew what I had in my home, but my storage was another story. I had no idea what was even in there anymore. I really appreciated the guys that came out that were patient with me as I went through to figure out if I was even going to take everything. They were very professional and understanding with me. Now that I am in my new home and can relax and just enjoy this new venture in my life, I can really appreciate how much hard work they had. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone.

Libb Harris

DO NOT USE: This is by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had. They used 3 different moving companies, broke most of my furniture, did not deliver multiple items and were no help throughout the process. It has been 2 months since I moved and they still will not return my calls or emails for the insurance process. I never received the final paperwork as well as the bill changed 3 different times.

N Buchanan

Buyer beware. This company underbids its projects, takes your deposit and leaves you at the mercy of whatever 3rd part they choose. My cost was doubled when the actual movers arrived despite nothing changing on my inventory list. My move cost me 3000$ more than quotes and Joann at Allegience offered me 100$ compensation.

Dustin Hoy

My household was packed and picked up exactly as scheduled, now over 30 days later I have nothing. No date of delivery, no belongings, no contact made for over a week and my contract has been broken so at this point I would highly recommend finding a company who fulfills their contract and delivers your belongings.

Nicholas Barbisan

Moving is not the easiest thing to do, but they made it easier. They showed up helped me wrap the things that needed to be secured and the delivery went smoothly. They were on time. I could say I pressed the easy button using them.

Tiffanie Phipps

Allegiance Moving and Storage said a lot of untrue things prior to signing an agreement with them, I will only focus on the price lie in this review. After the movers showed up the price went up by $1500 even though my inventory was identical. Allegiance is supposed to be my advocate, but when I called them about the price shift the rep was already telling me my inventory was different. Then I asked "How can you know this? You haven't even talked to the movers?". She became flustered and told me to hold. When she came back she made up stuff about the weight of my boxes, and the size was larger. Actually, the size quoted in the "binding estimate" were what was larger, my boxes were 2" smaller. Additionally, after my stuff was delivered I compared the inventory list and they are identical to what I stated. Movers did an OK job - only a few things damaged. Brokers are a racked, this type of business should be illegal. Edit: The contract says more than 75 feet is long haul. The distance from elevator to loading doc is 90 feet. I expressed I was perfectly willing to pay the additional $50 for long haul - that does not explain the $1500 difference. If you want to compensate me, I'm good with that - you have my contact info. However, I'm OK with warning people about brokers as compensation.

Lorna Westrick

I was super happy with my cross-country move done by Allegiance moving and storage. They were awesome and made sure my stuff got to me without being broken or messed up at all. Use them for your move, they know what they are doing!

Mikael Tonyan

There are so many moving companies and moving brokers. It makes it very difficult to pick the right company. I really just based it on who didn't seem so desperate and had good reviews online. That is why I chose to use Allegiance. My gut was right. I had a great experience with the team that arrived at pick up.

Kris Tieszen

They were professional and they were efficient and hardworking. The price was reasonable. They were very careful with our big expensive furniture. They reassembled our furniture when we got to our new home. Nothing was broken or damaged. Because they were so efficient they packed our kitchen and furniture for a 4-bedroom home in 6 hours. Amazing.

adam c

They were suppose to move my belongs today for a cross country move. Although I sent several emails and left messages they never responded. I booked them a month ago and paid HALF of the amount quoted. When they finally answered the phone (after I had been transfered3 times) they said they did t have a truck for me. When I called to tell them I had arranged another company they hung up on me and would answer their phone when I called back. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!

William Cerutti

Allegiance did a great job on our move from WV to Lexington, KY. Furniture was in storage for a year waiting for our new house to be finished due to COVID delays. Once time for move in arrived, all furniture was in good shape!!

William Henry

Original quote a joke! Charged over $2200 for wrapping supplies, $750 for 'heavy' items when 1 of the movers carried up the washing machine (supposedly a 'heavy' item) on his back by himself to the 2nd floor. Also, over $2200 charged for All American Movers, not knowing that this is a 'front' to collect more money from the customer. It was too late to get my deposit back for it was non-refundable. In total, paid over $11000 for an out of state move. If you value your wallet, do NOT use these movers for they are only after your money!!! They are dishonest!!!

Simeon Burks

Update: Stuff was delivered 61 days after pickup. Company that delivered made up a first available date. Allegiance took their side even though the below states exactly what happened. Beware, this company has poor customer service and does not stick to their contracts. I am not one to write poor reviews on google as I like to give a company the time to apologize and right a mistake. However, we have been without our belongings since July 3rd, thanks to allegiance. So it has been over 50 something days without our belongings and over 30 business days. I am writing this to one be transparent with anyone who may consider using Allegiance to move (they are very good at promising and getting you to sign). So before I chronicle what has happened so far, I want Allegiance to know that we just want our stuff, an apology, and a good faith refund of some of the deposit (As that deposit was made for them to coordinate all our move so we didn’t have to worry). If they are able to complete what was contracted, I will be glad to update this review. If this drags out longer we will have no choice but to contact the FMCSA and our own contract lawyer to mediate as they claim to be a FMCSA reputable broker, and use FMCSA reputable movers. So below is our story, and if anyone would like more information, I have copies of the contracts and voice recordings of all phone calls made. We contacted Allegiance to help with our move from Kansas to Georgia. My stuff was picked up on July 3 with a first scheduled delivery date of July 8th. July 8-11-Told that its in storage and they are scheduling the move (We called once that week-No problem with this as it was stated to us. July 12-18-Told it was still in storage trying to schedule the movers. (We called 2X that week July 19-26- Told it was still in storage trying to schedule the movers. We asked what happened to the 5-14 days were told for the first time that they deal in business days and we could not recoup money until 30 business days. (Called Customer service every other day) July 26-August 1-we were told that it was loaded over the weekend (24-25) and it would be delivered in 5-7 days. (We called every other day again). We were told that our stuff was in GA. Contacted the BBB. August 2-August 8- Called everyday asking where our stuff was. Finally got a response that its still in KS and will be another 3-10 business days. August 9- August 15- Called everyday asking where our stuff was. Finally, received a BBB response from the company on August 11 stating, “Thank you Adam, I was able to locate your file now. We contacted your carrier regarding the delivery- he stated your items are due to arrive in 5-7 business days.” August 16-August 22- Called everyday and were met with we are still in the 5-7 days. On Wednesday the 17th (day 4 of 7 business days), we were contacted by their movers that the delivery was en route and they would call in 1-2 business days with a delivery date. We were excited that it may finally be over. Additionally, we received this message on the BBB, “ You spoke with our customer service on 8/17/2021. She made you ware that your items are loaded and en route to you. Your driver will call you direct 24 hours prior to arriving. Thank you!.b August 23rd-August 29th- This is day 3 that the movers said they would call but they did not. On the 23rd we called allegiance and they stated the movers said it would be an additional 5-7 days. This is day 8 of the original 5 to 7 business days. We asked for the movers number and called there customer service number. We called and we were met with an incredibly rude customer service agent who stated the stuff was still in the storage unit in Kansas City. We called today on Day 9 of the original 5 to 7 days and Day 2 of the second 5 to 7 days. I repeat this review is meant to be transparent to any and all that want to use the Allegiance Service.

The thought of moving from Tampa, FL. to Las Vegas, NV. seemed like it was going to be the most stressful experience of my life. I cannot tell you how surprised I am to say this, but this move could not have gone more smoothly thanks to Allegiance moving! I felt like this company truly cared about me and my familyand the price was well worth the peace of mind. Now we can start a whole new adventure in our lives, home sweet new home Vegas!

Very disappointed with the service!! Allegiance Moving and Storage help organize a move for us from CA to MA. The items were packed nicely, and we were told that they will stay on the same truck until they were dropped off at the delivery location. The delivery was outsourced to Move US to Relocation, and it arrived late. We had to call many times to get an update on the delivery timing. Upon delivery of items, every single item was damaged badly, and one item was missing. The claim filing process for damages is complex and it is all done online with no help from Allegiance. We do not recommend this company.

I have had nothing less than the best care from Allegiance Moving and Storage. The staff is awesome and price is very affordable. I highly recommend them for any of your storage or moving needs. L. Haren

I created a very detailed list of the amount of items in our storage unit and had multiple conversations with their representatives (including sending actual pictures of what was in the storage unit) prior to hiring; The third party company that Allegiance used charged us almost $1300 more than the estimate. Trust these people at your own peril. ADDITION: I saw that Allegiance had a response that I was unable to reply directly to that response.so, I'll add that when I asked what those items were specifically and how they added to an additional almost 300 cubic feet; they were unable to provide any specifics. Also, I'll mention that I did shop with a competitor with the exact same inventory and the competitor was off by only 50 cubic square feet; when I called back to share my concern, I was told that they were likely just "wildly exaggerating' to get my business. Additionally, I was ghosted by the sales person after I called to complain. I will own that I missed some items; however, I stand by my assessment that I would never recommend this company.

I used Allegiance a few weeks ago for a cross-country move, and I would not use them again in the future. First, my pick-up date was delayed multiple times, but the company did a terrible job communicating things to me. I had to call several days in a row to figure out what was going on because they weren’t telling me directly. Once we found a new date, the contracted movers (Aknazar Moving LLC) charged me $1300 over the estimate “for empty space above my boxes and items because they can’t be stacked all to the way to the top of the truck for safety purposes” and for using the elevator, which is not in the contract or communicated to customers before signing the original estimate or sending a deposit. It’s clearly just a way for them to price-gouge customers last minute or they won’t take your things. They also changed the schedule on me last minute and said they couldn’t hold my items for the 2 weeks I requested and would need to do a 3-4 day delivery, so I flew cross-country to put my things into a storage unit (which of course I had to pay for), so these costs added an additional $400-500 hundred dollars onto what I was already paying. They also delayed the delivery date several times and I had to change my flight back out of the city several times too. While the movers did a mostly good job at wrapping my furniture and most of my things made it safely, they absolutely destroyed my dresser (it was cracked and falling apart in several places to the point where I couldn’t fix it) and I am now having to go through a claims process on top of all of this.

Orange Wave Properties

This is the most reliable, professional, and honest moving company I have ever dealt with. As stressful as moving can be, Trae made me so comfortable and relaxed knowing that all of my personal belongings were safely packed for me in a timely manner. In the past I have dealt with companies showing up late, my items being broken after unpacking them, I have even had one of my movers ask me out on a date while moving out of a boyfriends house.Allegiance assured me that my out of town move would go smoothly and as swiftly as possible. All of my items arrived on time, safe and sound. I have recommended them to my own family that has a home in Florida and Kentucky and they also had a wonderful experience with them, and I recently recommended them to my friend that needed shipped her car from California to Florida. By far the best moving company to deal with nationwide! I highly recommend them to anyone moving near or far.

Matt Winland

I spoke with a representative George Simmons on the phone and he was so incredibly rude and unprofessional. I was literally going to hire this company for a move and when I told him I would call him back in an hour to book after I made sure the date and items were correct, he got so angry and said I was lying to him, was argumentative, and hung up on me. I would never do business with a company who hires such rude employees. To say someone is lying to you just because they want to check with family members is horrible. I hope the conversation was recoded. He should be fired.

Meagan Hale

Thanks to Allegiance, I just moved into my brand new house and I have all my comforts from home here ready for me to unpack! The movers even helped me reassemble my stuff for free! That was really nice because I’m a single my of 3 hellians and I usually have to do that kinda stuff myself-which never turns out well and would probably have resulted in a lot of crooked and wobbly furniture.

Mike Baiz

I liked how they dressed up in masks and took additional measures during COVID season. The men were really kind and competent. My Grandmother's bedroom furnishings was relocated to my home. The boys covered each item with additional cushioning without hesitation, with great care and pride.

Alexis Benson

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! If I could leave a negative review I would. Completely oversold themselves on the front end with “we’ll be with you every step of the way” “you’re getting the best from us” “we will touch base with you daily” etc. Felt good about things, gave them the deposit. That’s when all communications stopped. I had to track them down with repeated phone calls, everyday leading up to the move. I was constantly put on hold and told I would be called back, and never was called back. Finally got in touch with someone the day before the scheduled move and was told the truck had broken down, but they could do it a week from now. A WEEK FROM NOW, REALLY?! When I tried to contact corporate to file a complaint and request a full refund, I was hung up on. After repeated attempts, I finally got through and was told I could a receive half of my deposit, but I would have to sign a non-disclosure agreement (assuring I wouldn’t leave a bad review) to receive my money. WHO does business like this?! What a scam. Shame on this company.

Sharon Peat

Allegiance is a really trustworthy company. I was nervous to move because I have a lot of stuff that I have accumulated over the years. I didn’t even realize how much until I started packing so on the day they came to pick my belongings up, I had more than what I originally planned for. They were so great about it. They simply revised my estimate right on site and were able to take everything anyway. I was very happy with this company and would recommend them to anyone.

Jonathan Manrique

I really appreciate the hard work put into my 2 bedroom home. I hired Allegiance Moving and storage to find me a reliable moving company for full service, my home was just too much to pack and move by myself and they blew me away; I did not have to lift a finger! I am so happy I went with this company. I can just say that it was a great service from the beginning to the end. Thank you!

Marissa Dusek

These movers did a great job. I noticed in the truck everything was placed neatly and safe. My move was completed timely and without any damage to my goods. They took great care of our things and were professional and efficient. The movers were referred two friends and I would like to recommend them to all. Thank you so much to the whole crew.

Jeffrey Wilson

Allegiance did me and my family’s move at the very last minute because I booked with another company who never showed up. No call, no nothing. So Allegiance saved us and sent a crew out who did a really good job. I can’t believe the difference between Allegiance and their sloppy competitors.

Jennifer Bartlett

CUSTOMER BEWARE! You will receive a great sales pitch from Allegiance employees, yet they are a Broker and do not make the move for you, they contract with moving companies which are dishonest! Here is the recap of the facts: 1) Salesperson Kevin stated he would be available to assist throughout and gave us his personal #, to call anytime with questions or help. I texted him and called him several times and he never responded. He stated that they had up to 21 days to deliver but that never happened unless something unusual occurred. He said the crew could only work so many hours a day and that we could anticipate our belongings arriving in 3-5 business days. We were told we would be receiving a phone call to review inventory 5 days or so prior to the move. We realized we had underestimated and wanted to have an accurate inventory to avoid an unpleasant surprise. On 6/22, 3 days prior to the move no one had called so we proactively called to update our inventory. The cost increased from $7,272 to $9,870. My husband and described everything in detail including height, whether the item was heavy, etc. He was not asked any questions or guided at all. We made the additional deposit immediately. 3) We were told we would receive a phone call 24 hours prior to move day with the arrival time. I called on 6/24 (move date 6/25/21) at 9 am and was told that we would receive a call at around 11:00. I still had not received a call by 3:oo, I called and was told the arrival would be between 9-11 and the carrier would be contacting me directly. Steve (area code 818) texted me later that arrival would be between 7 and 9 am. 4) The moving crew arrived at 9 am. The truck that arrived was unmarked and Steve, the lead person did not have a card to give us and did not provide his company name. Steve said he needed to review the items before getting started. (We had moved last year, upon arrival the crew immediately began taking written inventory, tagging items and wrapping them-they arrived ready to work). After 5 minutes he stated that there were more items and weight that had been estimated and the cost would about $17,000. We were shocked, I called Allegiance and they did not offer any help or solutions. Steve called Allegiance as well. Steve then stated he could do it for $14,500 including the $3,000 from Allegiance) We then asked if we move forward when will you be arriving in Grand Junction: These are the comments that he made that talked us out of moving forward: -"This is just what these companies do" -"His company/crew would not be delivering, all our of our belongings would go back to his area and get offloaded and that it would probably get offloaded 3-4 times before it reaches us and it would take 14-21 business days and probably would not get to us for a month." -"He said once you cross state lines, the items go into a semi-truck, not the type of moving truck that he has. If the semi does not have appropriate access to turn around, etc., the truck would be offloaded again to a moving truck to be delivered and the additional cost could be up to $3,000. " -He encouraged us to make the move on our own and told us we would spend half the money, hire a UHaul, they have people you can hire on both ends to move you, etc. So we took his advice and let him and his crew depart. -I asked "What about our deposit?", He told me you can get your deposit back, you know what to do". This was a blatant and crafted verbal persuasion by the carrier to talk us out of completing the move and to decide to move on our own 5) A call to Allegiance asking for a return of our $2,800. deposit was denied and no empathy or understanding offered. 6) I called the company asking to speak with a manager a couple of weeks later as I wanted them to know what Steve the mover told us that resulted in us not moving forward with them. They told me she was in a meeting and no one called back. Had Allegiance agreed to just return our deposit, I would not have submitted this review. BEWARE!!

Brittany Bishop

I decided to go with Allegiance moving and storage after my boss had such a great experience with them while moving his daughter across the country for college. Things seemed to be cut and dry without any undo surprises. I chose to opt out of adding on a packing package to save some money , but if I do this kind of thing again I will save myself the headache and have the movers pack for me! Moving is so stressful and I'm so glad I used a company I could trust and rely on to keep me informed during the entire process.

Charlotte Swords

I used Allegiance back in August to move from TX to MI. I can't thank them enough for everything they did for me! I am 65 years old and disabled so I wasn't able to help much but their team came in and packed everything up and loaded it and all I had to do was tell them what was going and what needed to be packed. They made sure to have everything done in a timely manner and made sure all of my items were safe. I am beyond thankful that I picked Allegiance to work with!

Jamar Dean

I have moved several times throughout the years. I have used many different companies and each time something else was wrong. I was never actually happy with the service and just accepted it as it is. When I used Allegiance, things went pretty well. The only issue I experienced was a little minor scratch on my shelf. I would absolutely use them again.

Jen Cousino

Allegiance was the absolute best! My move was kind of complicating but Allegiance worked with me through the chaos. We all worked together to make sure everything went as smooth as possible. The moving team was extremely nice and explained everything throughout the whole process. Allegiance customer service was amazing! They did their best to answer my questions and help me wherever they could. Thank you Allegiance for handling my home with care!!

Chill Zone

They movers were on time, worked hard. They disassembled and reassembled furniture throughout my home, taking care of my stuff like it was there own.. They used moving blankets and shrink wrapped on all our items big furniture pieces. I will defiantly recommend Allegiance moving and storage to everyone I know.

Kathryn Robbins

If I could give zero stars, I would. Allegiance is the worst moving company. Do not give this company your money. They contract with movers that are unprofessional and unprepared. The customer service is awful. They will not return phone calls or call back when they say, they blame the movers and take no responsibility and they do not clearly explain their terms before you sign the contract. Be aware of this companies predatory practices. The response to this review is a prime example of how this company operates. Customer service is AWFUL and said storage would be an additional 1400 per month that I was not told about when booking my move. As in the response below, they are very rude and unhelpful. The contracted movers called me directly and gave me free storage because they know they did a poor job. Now I can't even get a call back from Allegiance to get my moving paperwork. They wont even tell me how much I owe. Worst company ever! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Jared Dnkowre

Hiring this company was a disaster. The subcontractor they used, American Express Moving, was substandard. Both entities were almost impossible to contact. Schedules were not met. Transactions with the subcontractor were cash only..no option. Allegiance did not do adequate research on the extent/quantity of our move. In writing, I gave them updates on the size of our move which were never acknowledged. The sub did not meet any scheduled dates and were ill-equipped. We had to purchase much of the shipping material ourselves. Trying to call Allegiance when we were having trouble was frustrating... it seems as though, at times, they stopped our calls from getting to customer service. When we did get through, many of the answers we received were contradictory. The two men who actually did the moving were hard workers and did their best; however there was constant infighting between their employers and Allegiance regarding who was really in charge. Having moved often during my military career, I have never witnessed or experienced such brazen incompetence. I strongly encourage that this company be avoided.

Tayler Dawson

Was inquiring for prices for a worst case scenario move, needing an entire 53’ truck. The associate failed to put me on hold and said “this girl here thinks she knows what she’s talking about and wants a price for a 53’ truck”… I hung up. I have never in my life experienced anything like that. I will never book with this company. I understand the quotes are based off inventory, but that type of treatment to a potential client will never be acceptable.

Ilene Klaver

We're moving out-of-state and have made and changed plans several times. Matt has been patient, attentive and understanding of our needs and limitations. He is truly professional, kind and accommodating. Highly recommend using this company!

Weston Clark

If you are shopping for a mover, go with Allegiance moving and storage or be disappointed. All the other big names I looked at over quoted me and didn’t seem to care very much about my business. Allegiance did a good job and came in with a great quote that stayed true to the end.

deathpooper

This is actually the worst company I have ever dealt with and would give negative stars if possible. I was lied to about every single aspect of the move. Initial information was provided by my point of contact Kevin, who told me things would cost x amount and that he would be available 24/7 for any questions related to the move. Kevin never responded to me again despite multiple attempts to reach out, and I had to reach out multiple times to request information to the company help line about my move, such as time the movers would arrive (which was provided to me one day before). I was also told last second that the storage costs were more than the quoted price I was given, despite confirming multiple times that it would be stated price. Additionally, I was told that the amount of stuff I had would be an extra $300 even though I again was told multiple times by Kevin that even if I had three times as much stuff listed it would be the same cost. This left me scrambling to get rid of items last second. The process to move back in was also a nightmare, which left me homeless for two days. When I called to address these issues, I kept being told that they would tell Kevin to call me back (which he never did) and they weren't sure why he wasn't responding (definitely because then he would have to explain the lies) and that they were sorry but they couldn't do anything about it :/ This company is literally a scam and I genuinely would not even recommend it to somebody I hated because I would rather see this company go under. Honestly the whole experience was even worse than I wrote and I just can't even find the words to express how awful and upsetting the whole process was.

Lin Cong

Hired them only to find out they subcontract it out to other movers. Probably with bad reviews. It went from Allegiance to United sat in a warehouse for three weeks. Then some other company deliver's it. I understand there is a shortage of drivers but poor communication all the through the process. Missing boxes and some of my boxes didn't even have a numbered sticker on it. I personally put 3 by 4 white stickers on all my boxes with my full name. You would think that one of the moving companies would easily find them. I think someone stoled them. Now they tell me to file a claim. Don't hire either one of these companies.

Ayesha S

They first told me they were not connected with the company All Over the State Moving and Storage. They did a great job setting up my furniture.

JOHN KEELING

If you have ever had to sell your home, buy a new home in another state, deal with home buyers and sellers and then hire a moving company. Then you know how stressful this can be. Between the changes of selling my home and buying my home, I probably called customer service a million times to change my dates. I was almost ready to pull out my hair. I'm so happy they worked with me through all of this.

Dan Klawer Jr.

Do not hire. They hire truck drivers that charge you triple your original quote. They hire loaders and unloaders from cities you are from and going to who are incompetent. They broke my mother’s antique table as it fell out of the truck when unloading. They claim they are professional packers. Our first set of guys unloading truck left and had to wait hours after new one arrived. The truck driver was informed by Alex, Eagle Eye moving not to unload truck until an additional $5,240 was paid to him in money orders with no itemized bill or they would Not unload our belongings. We moved from Lake Worth, Fl. to Lakeland Fl.. The truck was too small leaving behind 3 boxes and several fold up chairs and was told it was our problem. Quality assurance called us twice at which time we continued to tell them exactly what was being moved and asking if the truck was big enough. They assured us it was. Put of move for 2 days claiming their driver for the truck driver they hired got Covid 19. Finally they packed the too small truck one day and unloaded it the next day leaving us with no place to sleep or go with 2 dogs. Allegiance is not a moving company but a broker that hires incompetent truck drivers to hire loaders and unloaders. Nancy, unsatisfied customer. Beware of this company!!!!

Richard Bell

I have moved 3 times in the last 10 years. These folks are the very best of all. Very particular with my collectibles. Special wrapping, no incidents at all LOVE THEM????????

DO NOT USE THE SERVICE!!! I’m fooled by the good reviews/rating and signed the moving contract with Allegiance came to the nightmare experience! You will regret it if sign the contract with Allegiance! Allegiance is broker not carrier/moving company. They will not take any responsibility or help your insurance claim for the damages. It’s not the company you can trust! It should only need Sales getting the contracts being signed. Once they received the money, they're out of hook! Others such as Quality Assurance, Customer Service will no need since not help customers at all! Allegiance gives you low price to sign the contract, then subcontract to low quality moving company. When Allegiance Sales talks to you, he will tell you that the price will be changed soon, you need sign right away. Once you signed, you have no choice because they ask you pay some money right away – cash from your bank not credit card you can decline. If you decline from your bank payment, they will charge your fee as well. I was not told until the moving day the subcontracted moving company asked me signed another contract and increased the price, even my stuff was less items than before showing on Allegiance’s contract. On the delivery day many items were damaged/broke, and the disassembled items need reassemble for me per the contract, but none of them was assembled. I contacted the customer service being told contact the moving company. The moving company told me they had 90 days to process the insurance claim even I continuously contacted Allegiance customer service who would not help you at all! After almost 90 days the moving company sent the letter to me “no longer able to complete any claims that were filed within 120 days”. I contacted – called/emailed Allegiance customer service many times and finally was told that I need “filing the lawsuit” by myself since Allegiance didn’t have any responsibility. I would give negative stars if could.

Markie Henry

BUYER BEWARE!!! – Only choose Allegiance Moving and Storage if you have thousands of dollars above the original estimate to hand out and weeks available that you don’t need your furniture and household goods. I have NEVER written a review before, but I can’t stand by and let this happen to someone else if I can stop it. I chose this company because the customer service up front was excellent, and the cost was not the highest but not the lowest either, so it didn’t raise any red flags. I couldn’t go by reviews because all moving companies had negative reviews. The first negative thing that happened is that they no called and no showed for the first date they were scheduled to arrive. Understood because they had a backup date for the next day, where they did the same thing, no called and no showed. It was the weekend, and no one answered the phones (it says 24 hours on their website, it isn’t). So, there I was, with everything packed and ready to go, and no movers. Monday morning, I had to reach out, still no one contacted me, and come to find out they had technical difficulties and couldn’t make it but no one had the decency to call. A week later is the soonest they can come. Okay, I scheduled it. Guess what – THEY DID IT AGAIN. No called and no showed. Remember, you have to pay a substantial amount up front, so canceling isn’t an option. Finally, a week later, they show up and guess what – the original estimate was supposedly $1000 too little. We had to pay $1000 more than the original estimate in order for them to take our stuff. They didn’t tell us that when they arrived, they told us that after everything was packed up. We actually packed less than the original estimate provided for to include missing a coffee table and two recliners. There is no way the original estimate should have been less than what we actually had. Moving on….the original estimate was for the travel to take a week. The movers, when they were at the house of departure, could not provide a better estimate. So, a week later, we call and are told that the original estimate should have been, (not that it was but that it should have been) 5 – 14 days. So, we call back on day 12. Guess what? It’s all in storage in the original state it was picked up in and the new projected arrival date is another week out. We have now gone weeks without furniture, are not expecting our furniture for another week + and have to date had no contact by management with an apology, or any compensation for the multiple days I have had to take off of work to arrange and be available for the movers that never came. I would definitely think twice before selecting this company for your move. I wish we had done it ourselves; I thought a moving company would save us a lot of hassle, but honestly, it is the worst decision I have made in a long time. UPDATE: To those of you who thought that this would have a happy ending, sorry to disappoint you, but it is still going on with no end in sight. First let me respond to the owner who so graciously acknowledged my review by telling me to contact customer service. 1st, if you would have actually read my review, you would have known that customer service is the issue, why would I contact them again? If they would have reached out even once during this whole debacle to give me an update then I would have never posted a review, things happen, but the complete lack of common decency by the customer service department is a lot of my frustration. 2nd, I did contact them. They not only didn’t help me, but they were also VERY rude about it and ultimately, they pushed my date out another two weeks. It's been 6 weeks since they were supposed to pick up my furniture and we have no projected date of when it might arrive (keep in mind that it took us only 2 days to drive the entire route). I have only been told that it is in storage, and I should wait another 2 weeks before I call again. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.

I moved my in laws down to tennessee to be near me and my kids and I chose to ship their furniture with allegiance. I was surprised how quickly the whole process went to be honest. I heard so many horror stories, it was nice to see this company stay true to their word and follow through with good service.

Anthony McConnell

As someone who has moved a dozen times, I have a good idea of what one can expect from professional movers. Allegiance is just the broker, but they claim to set you up with good movers and to advocate on your behalf with the mover. Both were false in my case. The contracted mover was Ontime Moving express, and they were the worst movers I've ever seen. Allegiance assured me they would overestimate my cost and tonnage to ensure coverage, but the mover still showed up a truck that was too small for my stuff and it turns out the estimate was very much underestimated, as the price was raised on me dramatically. We set up a TBD delivery date, but the mover called me out of the blue and said they were 24 hours out with my stuff, before I had a house to put it in. I called Allegiance, but they refused to help with this matter. A lot of my stuff was broken or missing. One computer desk was missing with the exception of one leg that had been broken off the desk. Couch arm broken off. Lamps smashed. Delicate glasses put into boxes with no labels and smashed. I had to rent a storage container to receive my stuff on short notice. Allegiance offered to pay for that, but did not give me an email to send to, and they are near impossible to get on the phone. You might as well give your stuff to charity or take to a landfill, it will save you money in the long run.

Ray Puglisi

These guys were great - polite, flexible, and worked hard. I wasn't sure everything can fit into the storage unit but they stacked everything nicely. I highly recommend them!

Amanda Greco

Great and such a hardworking crew with a very polite and calm attitude with their clients. I was so impressed, like the way they worked for me. They were excellent and I highly recommend them. If we need loading or unloading in the future, we will hire them again.

Darlynn Frodsham

These Movers were awesome! I would recommend this company and will definitely be referring friends and family. They show up on time, are super speedy, and were great to work with.

Arild Monsen

I can recommend these movers, they were professional, polite, and hardworking. Even the super at my new place, when told that the movers were ready for the final walk-through for damages, said, "Wait, they're done already?!" Wonderful job, you made the move much less stressful.

Ernestine Pericola

I have moved a few times and have always had a bad experience. Something was always either lost or most likely stolen and the people were always rude or inexperienced. Thankfully when I moved to Miami this time, I used Allegiance moving and they changed the game for me. I was surprised at how easy they made it this time. I can’t tell you how satisfied I am as a customer.

Jessie Thwing

I just got my home-goods delivery that I shipped with Allegiance moving and storage and I am very satisfied with the condition of my things. I really was nervous because I moved all the way from Walla Walla, WA. to Pensacola , FL. and was naturally expecting a few things to get damaged. They must have done a great job on the front end, packing my items because they are in great shape. Thanks guys!!! Oh ya, and the crew that delivered was awesome and were cuttin up the whole time but really knew what they were doin.

Connor Jarrell

My shipment took exactly 4 weeks from Seal Beach, Ca to Cullman, Al. I was advised 1 week into the shipment that to get it out of the terminal in Victorville, Cal I had to pay 1500.00 more which I did. I did not know and was never told about all of this prior to shipment. But finally last evening a big Yellow frt truck pulled up and dropped off two pallets. Upon opening I found all was fine without any loss or damages. I guess that is the bottom line. I learned a lot from this experience -- not all of it good. E Schoonhoven

DO NOT USE. This is hands down the worst moving company I have ever worked with, so much so that when I wrote them a poor review for their personal website, they didn't bother to read it and asked me to write another review on google. To start off, the brokers of this company will always lowball you on the price. I was quoted at about 3000$ and when the moving company showed up it was actually around $5800. They do this to get your initial deposit and neglect to mention up front that you can't get your money back if you don't cancel 72 hours before the movers are scheduled. This works great for them since the movers actually showed up 4 DAYS late to pick up my stuff. Not only were they late, I legitimately had no idea what time they would show up. each day they were late I would call the company and ask for a time and each day I kept getting empty promises of arrival, Causing me to spend each of those days waiting at the house and taking time off of my job. We were also late moving out of our house causing me to pay an extra days rent to my landlord who needed us out by the 30th. To top it all off they were even late delivering my furniture. This company does not care about its customers at all, and clearly only values taking your money up front and giving you the bare minimum in return. They are entirely unprofessional and uncaring, the fact that they even asked me to write a second review without reading my first one just speaks to their incompetence. Don't waste your time.

RUN FAR AND FAST away from this horrible company!! First, let’s be clear, this company is a broker NOT a moving company as they lead you to believe. The customer service is AWFUL but I only discovered just how HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL they are AFTER I already paid $2,100…..so they had me! I had no choice but to continue their services. I was quoted $3,600 but I being charged over $4,400. Not to mention the 2 week time frame it’ll take to receive my items, which was also mislead. And the fact that I have LESS than I initially quoted. I was also told that my conversation over the of my items was only an estimate and subject to change. I verbalized that my inventory may change come moving day based on what ai fit in my car. I was told, not a problem, the final quote is during the walk through, the day of the move but am mow being told by Monica I’m customer service that changes can’t be made the day of. Clearly a contradiction. IF you do end up with these frauds, Stay away from Brent, Monica, and Micheal if you do end up going with this company, they’re the WORST and give you false information and a lack of information. They use the word “estimate” and “contract” only when it suits their agenda. They don’t even know how to give their name when you call….hmmmm I’m guessing they don’t give their names for a reason. Well, they got me for $4,400. I will be going through my CC company to reverse my charges but please, DO NOT use this company. You will be taken advantage of, over charged, stressed, and disappointed with the company’s service or lack there of in it’s entirety.

Avoid this company. A) grossly underestimate the moving cost, you will pay double or triple what original estimate cites B) people moving our household out dropped and crushed boxes with extensive damage. C) people moving our household out left holes in ceiling, holes in 3 different wall locations. Left handprints on wall in multiple locations which could not be cleaned off. Door ways damaged, doors damaged and of course furniture scratched and damaged. Hardwood floors scratched. D) furniture going into storage - the size of storage unit was greater than truck size, yet due to poor unloading, furniture did not fit into storage location E) unloaded refused to remove blankets to allow inspection for damage. Made several calls to customer service and sales to seek help for problems listed above - no response. If I could rate in negative I would. I found this company on this web page as highly rated - absolute lie based on my experience. After I posted this, customer service called me. They sent me a form and refused to have anything to do with making this situation right; “file a claim. Not our fault”, not our problem.” Since our furniture is jammed into storage, we need to take it all out now to take pictures. We asked for help doing this - not their problem.

Allegiance Moving was prompt and efficient, meticulously packaging and wrapping my belongings. The revivalists painstakingly prepped my home. If I had to relocate, I'd use them again. This moving company has a great reputation.

Alon Wiedenman

Avoid this dishonest broker at all costs. I was assured by Allegiance that delivery would be within 10 days. However it is now nearly 4 weeks later and my furniture has not been delivered. I am living in an empty apartment sleeping on the floor. Don't let this happen to you. Read my story and heed my advice: do not book with Allegiance Moving and Storage. Here is how the Allegiance scam works: Allegiance is not a mover, they are a moving broker. That means they arrange for the pickup date with a particular moving company, and they also tell you how long your delivery will take. I’m my case Allegiance said 6 to10 days. However Allegiance does not even communicate that delivery range to the moving company. That delivery range was a total lie. Now, the actual moving company says they are not responsible because they never gave a 6 to 10 day delivery range. They are only bound by federal law to deliver within 30 business days. And Allegiance says there is nothing they can do because they are not the moving company and did not sign any contracts. In essence, Allegiance lies about delivery dates on behalf of moving companies. This generates business, yet gives moving companies flexibility because they made no promises directly. What does this do for you the consumer? Nothing but stress and disappointment and sleeping on an empty floor for a month. Booking a move with Allegiance would be among the worst decisions you make. Don't do it. My advice is to book directly with an actual moving company … one that has trucks and drivers. Allegiance has none of these things, and will bounce you around a virtual call center so you never speak to the same person twice. For those other consumers who also fell into this trap, I feel for you. It is an awful situation, and this is not a nice company. The world would be a better place for consumers without it.

Christine D.

This is the best moving company. They move out of my SF apartment and I used them for storage for the past year during the pandemic. I recommend Allegiance Moving company more highly!

Jean Goodman

They do not return e-mails or phone calls once you book their services. When they called to confirm the amount of items I had I told them. When the movers arrived I actually had less then I thought. They however did not calculate the space correctly costing me over $2,000.00 more. They asked for an approximate delivery date. I told them. The guy said well I put down this date. I told him that week was not good. He assured me it was not a problem, and just to give them a call when I was ready for my things. They then called me, I told them that date was not an option, and I have not heard back from the delivery department since. They said I refused delivery. I have e-mailed, called, left message for over three weeks now. Finally, a supposedly manager called me. We were disconnected during the call and she never called back. A different woman called a week ago. I explained the situation, she said she would call me the next day. I still have not heard back from her. It is extremely frustrating dealing with this company. Thankfully, I printed out one of the invoices. Their software is such once they pick up your items, their contact disappears off your e-mail, and a header comes up saying “Congratulations on your move…Please contact Customer Service for any questions”. When I call customer service they tell me to e-mail the company, if they even answer. They are no help whatsoever. Since then I have found a Facebook group that is made up of customers who have not received their items for month, have had items missing, and several are getting together to file a lawsuit against the company.

I called Allegiance Moving based on customer reviews to move us from Texas to Michigan. Sadly, our experience was really bad. First, the salesman I spoke with never told me they were simply a broker, not a moving company as threefold title suggests. The salesman took our online inventory and went over it carefully. Then they had an estimator come physically to our home and he took an inventory. Yes, you would think they would have a very accurate inventory of everything we would be moving. But when their contracted mover showed up in a truck with graffiti all over it and leaking oil all over, I was told they were a contractor hired by Allegiance. I told them they might not be able to fit all our items on the box truck, they said they would and in addition they would be picking up a second load from another home. We’ll, they fit all of things on the truck but there was no room left so they said I’d have to pay them an additional $3800. We’ll, we had to be out of the house, so we paid it thinking that Allegiance would make it right, but they offered us $50 for out troubles!! Then the final straw was they wouldn’t be the ones moving us, they were putting our things in storage. You k ow the more times furniture and boxes are moved, the more likely damage is to occur. Bottom line, I just want others to be aware of Allegiance despite other reviews they may read.

Tina McPherson

This moving company is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. The customer service is terrible, the actual employees are liars, and they are WAY over priced. My husband and I moved from NY to CO, we were originally told our stuff would get to CO in 3-10 days and would cost x amount. The day they came to get our stuff the price actually DOUBLED and they said our stuff would take “ 14-21 “ BUSINESS days to arrive AFTER YOUR DELIVERY DATE. When I called to check on where my things were 14 business days later- it was still on the East coast- after we were told the week before it was on the truck on its way to CO. I then asked to speak to a manager and the girl on the customer service line made me cry. The manager never called me back. I then spoke to Anthony who told me he wouldn’t talk to me until I “calmed down”. He also told me that this job was hard work. I proceeded to tell him I work in health care- my job is HARD work. It’s now been a month of sleeping on an air mattress with my husband and a month of not having any of our clothes, furniture, etc- NOT acceptable. THIS IS A SCAM PEOPLE- DO NOT FALL for them.We are getting a lawyer involved if it’s not here next week.

Natalie Coutu

They gave a short delivery window when I called and later booked them which is why I decided to use them rather than a different company. Then, they were 1.5 months late in delivering my items, and “per the contract” that was apparently acceptable. The customer service people were honestly plain rude. They are a broker and hire other moving companies to actually load/move/unload so there is little accountability. The driver himself when he delivered my items complained about the company’s lack of professionalism.

Nicole Sullivan

This review is overdue for this mover’s team. I am so grateful for the day they spent moving us during a local move. I had lots of challenging pots and plants and he said he'd do his best to accommodate. He fit everything into the truck like a puzzle and then they carried it all up a steep drive! Hard working and efficient on top of kind! Great service overall.

Charles schwalier

My husband contracted with Allegiance Moving and Storage for a move from ca to Florida. Allegiance subcontracted the move to East Freight Logistics LC. We were unaware of the move being subbed out until the day of move. East Freight showed up and picked up our belongings to be stored until we requested delivery. We requested delivery on 08/16/21. We still have not received our belongings. We paid a total of over $4000 between Allegiance and East Freight Logistics LLC. When I call Allegiance they say" We cant find them" (meaning the East Freight Logistics LLC) the company they subbed my move out to. They said to me" all I can tell you is hire and attorney. I have since found out East Freight is not licensed or insured to work in the state of California. Our belongings have been stolen and no one claims responsibility for any of this. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN SCAMMED!!!! Doug Nash, Ref# AL3800935

We'd discuss how we wanted our boxes packed for the journey to preserve our pricey equipment with the movers. Their customer service is second to none. Allegiance Moving is well-known and will make an indelible impression on its clients.

Ken Mayrose

Terrible experience with allegiance… my belongings were delivered 3 months late with many items broken, damaged, or missing. Filing a claim is also a hassle. Do not trust this company if you want your belongings returned to you in a timely manner and in good condition.

Allegiance moving and storage went above and beyond my expectations. Moving across country is stressful and scary but they have made this experience easy. We had a great customer service experience. The movers were so polite and very knowledgeable. Hopefully, we won't move for a while but if we do you can bet, we are moving with Allegiance!

Hayden Stuart

Allegiance moving and storage moved me from New York to Georgia in April and I am so glad I went with them. I would have written this review sooner but, as I am a stay at home mom, I haven't really had the time. I just wanted to let people know that this is a fair and honest company who really knows what they are doing. I originally planned to rent a truck and move everything myself but at the end of the day it seemed like a whole lot of work for close to the same cost. At least by hiring Allegiance, I saved my sanity and I think that's enough of a payout in itself.

Arturo Figueroa

At first, was a great sounding company. Helped me get a really good price and a great date that I needed. However it quickly went bad. Getting ahold of costumer service was a hassle, t dates changed, not a big deal as it's a window, but they didn't tell me until I called them for an unrelated issue. Then they changed them, again. Two days later! They wouldn't refund me when I asked because not only did the date change affect when my house got packed but I had to cancel other reservations that are also not refundable. If this is a one-time thing, they need to figure out what happened. If not, well, they have some serious issues. *reply to response: I understand that. However that's where my attempts to contact costumer service came from. Once i had gotten ahold of them they said everything was fine. They never talked about a pay issue until AFTER the change in dates so please do not try and say it was because i never paid. I would have gladly paid and done what was needed if you had reached out in a timely manner.

Michael

This company is a scam. They will say they never had a contract with me because my ID is a different first name. They low bid and hang you out to dry. Beware! Joann in the office is rude and unprofessional. Funny how after every bad review on this page a 5 star review magically appears. I was offered 100$ compensation which I "politely" told them to keep. DO NOT believe their lies

Holly Johnson

Their sales person presented me with a decent offer. He sent the moving team on moving day, which had no previous information of the nature of the transfer yet created a strategy and executed the movements flawlessly. They managed to pull off near-perfect moves despite a plethora of obstacles and impediments.

Lucia Manetta

We had a terrific experience with Allegiance. When our truck was going to be delayed, they found us another driver and truck. They arrived on time, loaded our 5 bedroom house in 7 hours and met us at our new house in another state at 8am on the original date. They were professional on both ends of our move and I could not have asked for a better move. Nothing was damaged or broken and they hauled away all the boxes that I unpacked. I highly recommend Allegiance for your local or inter-state move.

Meghan Carreon

The movers arrived on time, worked quickly, and were very careful. The grandfather clock was taken apart and then reassembled at the new location. All went great.

Marie Gillman

When I decided to move I talked to several companies looking for a good price along with a good service. Although I did get lower quotes than what Allegiance gave me, I was okay with paying a little more for a better service. The whole process went very smoothly. There was a few items that I didn't think I was going to take that I ended up taking so in the end my price did go up a little but that was to be expected! If I ever move again (which I hope I won't) I will 100% call Allegiance again!

Angel Polka

They don't have any trucks! A broker! They will lie to you until your move day that the truck is coming. It never did. Save yourself some time and money, and find a company that owns their own trucks.

Allie Zoey

They company Allegiance Moving and Storage hired for my move came on time, and they were FAST! They moved my 4 bedroom home into the truck in 5 hrs. The gentleman that moved me were professional and kind. They were very careful with all my stuff. I got all of my belongings as promised with 1-7 business days. Thank you will recommend to everyone!

Pretty poor experience overall for a long distance move from CA to NY. Allegiance themselves were communicative, professional, and courteous. HOWEVER, the local companies that they brokered for us were incredibly bad (Febex Moving). Febex showed up 3 hours later than they said on the day of pickup. They said that the estimate was way too low and charged me 2x the original estimate ($7500 for 2 bedroom move). And while I realize that everything is an "estimate", they were 3 weeks late on their delivery to the destination. I ended up having to pay for 2 weeks of hotel/airbnb because of this. Finally, they broke a TON of stuff. The most expensive was a monitor that was worth ~$1000. On top of that, they broke various cups plates, kitchen island, 2 bookshelves, 3 lamps. Oh and to top it all off, I submitted a claim in late October. It is now December 9 and I still haven't gotten anything. Allegiance is not Febex, but the fault still lies with them for choosing to work with such an incredibly bad company (Febex is rated 1.5 stars on yelp and google by the way).

Nicole Slattery

When I booked my move with allegiance, I gave them a list of furniture that I am moving out of my home, I completely forgot to tell them about the garage. The day the movers arrived they were perfectly fine with it and really worked with me to make sure I was able to move everything. Even the stuff I forgot about. I honestly thought I would have to book a second move just for my garage. So, I am super happy I went with allegiance. I highly recommend this company to everyone.

Avery Amundsen

Stay away and make sure to find a true mover/carrier. Learn from all of our mistakes, be sure to scroll through "newest" reviews instead of "most relevant", and don't fall victim to this predatory moving broker. UPDATE in response to reply: Allegiance is holding my refund/“compensation” hostage until I sign a nondisclosure agreement and remove this 1 star review, so no, they don’t work with the customer unless it is in the interest of improving their sham of a rating. I did not sign said agreement. Also, the reason the price didn’t go up is because I had to throw away 30% of my furniture in order to keep the price the same as was agreed to with Allegiance. The actual movers informed me that brokers like Allegiance deliberately underestimate customers’ cubic footage to falsely quote (“contract”) you a much lower price than the real movers can charge. I ultimately paid $1000 more for my move to be contracted out with a carrier who took only 2/3 of my inventory, who was going to charge me an extra few thousand dollars for the original inventory, who then delivered my things 58 days after pickup and lost my bike in the process. By the way, you basically waive your insurance/replacement compensation when you sign up with Allegiance (you only get $0.60 per pound if things go missing or get damaged, which is nothing). Any reviews about actual moving crews are N/A to this space because Allegiance does not have movers or trucks. Rather, they contract out with a variety of other companies. Allegiance underquoted me by thousands of dollars for the amount that it would cost to move my 1 BR apartment. When the actual moving company showed up and saw my stuff, they gave me the new cost. Sounds like many others continue to have this exact same experience. I did speak to customer service to try and move more of my deposit to paying the actual movers, but nothing was accomplished and I have yet to get any of the money refunded for what I was forced to overpay. Allegiance failed in their main role as a middleman. Because they are just a broker, they cannot guarantee pricing nor will they come to do an appropriate estimate of your household goods. The actual moving company they contracted with for my move showed up and told me that the exact inventory list I had on my Allegiance contract would cost nearly twice as much ($4K extra) as the so-called "binding estimate" that Allegiance came up with. I called Allegiance and had them talk to the movers, and naturally nothing was accomplished. I ended up throwing away half of my furniture in a scramble, since I wasn't going to muster up an additional $4K for one bedroom worth of apartment furniture. Allegiance also failed to communicate any of the costs of the moving company and refused to provide contact information ahead of time for the actual movers. In my case, the additional expenses ended up being more than $1000 for things like packing, an elevator fee (whatever that is), and wrapping 3 furniture items in plastic. Movers can do this; however, Allegiance gave no heads up nor the means to contact the movers to get a quote of these additional costs. The rating is being inflated artificially. Almost formulaically, any negative reviews (i.e. every substantive review you'll see below) are immediately covered up by a 5 star one. If you look under on the Department of Transportation's Office of Inspector General’s Household Goods Moving Fraud" page, you'll see their warning signs predatory practices of moving brokers like this. I wish I had looked at the DoT's website prior to booking, but we learn through experience and I never would have known to do so. This made me the perfect target. Unfortunately, Allegiance checks at least 5 of the "Red Flag" boxes listed: weight bumping, low balling estimate, non-local, no onsite inspection of household goods (because they, like most moving brokers, are in Florida), and the actual moving company who they contract out with does not accept credit cards and requires payments to be made by either postal money orders, direct wire transfers, or cash.

Dustin Clark

I recently moved out of a very large town home in Chicago, IL. I broke my arm the month before the move, so I was not able to do much packing on my own. Luckily my sales rep helped me figure out the package that was best for me and when the movers showed up, they did a wonderful job. All of my belongings were cared for well and safely wrapped and packed. It took them a while but I am grateful to have had the help. Thank you, Allegiance, for a job well done.

David Bradley

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I serve in the United States Marine Corps, and i have never been treated worse by a company in my life. It took my household goods 11 weeks to arrive, and when my belongings actually arrived half of them were missing and the delivered portions were damaged. The movers even offered me other peoples belongings as "reimbursement" for my missing things. I did not accept this offer and they left other junk in front of my house, even throwing the empty drink bottles i gave them in my front yard. But this is why Allegiance is a company that nobody should use. I called Allegiance on a weekly basis to get in contact with the Customer service supervisor Joann Taylor. Not once after 6 weeks of trying to contact her was i able to. Even though her employees told me every other day that she would contact me. When i was finally able to contact her she was rude and dismissive. I then asked to speak to her boss and she said she had no boss, and nobody higher than her. SHE TOLD ME SHE HAD NO BOSS.... I was then contacted 3 weeks later by a different Customer Service rep who told me she spoke with the Owner of the company and that she could give me $300 reimbursement. Even though i had stolen from me over $5,000 of belongings. As a service member who has moved very frequently, i would recommend any other company than this one. Joann Taylor could've changed this situation if she had tried even for a second to be helpful. I have never been more disappointed by a company.

Amanda Bender

I have relocated many times, but this was the best, stress-free experience I have had, thanks to Allegiance Moving and Storage. The company they hired for us (Safe Moving) packed our entire apartment - every shelf and drawer. We hired Allegiance based on recommendations, and we weren't disappointed.

Frank Ryan

Do NOT hire this company for your moving needs. My sister used them to move from Washington DC to Minnesota, and they said they’d have her items there within a week. It has now been OVER A MONTH and they have not even left DC with her items yet, and no one can give any kind of update as to when the items will arrive. Absolutely ridiculous. Extremely unprofessional and lied about what to expect. Don’t waste your time or energy with this company

L. H.

Allegiance Moving and Storage has been nothing but the best during my move from TX to CA. They were extremely helpful and they were quick to answer any questions I had. They made sure to do their best in making this move as smooth as possible. The original sales representative was very diligent while going through my inventory. When the movers came out I had additional items that I failed to include on my estimate and the moving company explained how the process worked and they were very helpful and worked with me the best they could. I am so happy I decided to work with them!

Dee Dee Johnson

Absolute horrible experience with this company. Only good experience was when having quote. Once they have your deposit, they are gone forever. No response to call or email. Their carrier service gave me call 2 hour before arrival. They came totally unprepared, no tools whatsoever. Estimated 1300 dollars more. I tried to reach Allegiance and as expected no one received the call or responded back. Carrier/Movers are like "Either you pay us the amount we asked for or we leave. And you will most likely not get what you already paid for" They gave me discount and ultimately settled in about 1000 dollars. I had to give them because I had no choice given my tight schedule. Now I am scared about my items. They didnt not wrap or taped my items. What I packed my items they took it just like that. I had to dissemble my own bed with point of my kitchen knife. I feel like I am scammed. Please beware of this moving company. It's rather a broker company that basically distribute work to different movers. Will update about how they deliver my items.

J.R. Steffel

On-time, masked up, and attentive to every detail. Always asking if things were to my liking. The management of this company should know what an impact a great team has. In an industry that can be dicey, this is a trustworthy and honest company. After many moves in my lifetime, these crew provided the best experience. Thanks, all!

Alec Adams

Moving can be extremely stressful, especially moving across country. Allegiance was extremely helpful and they were more than happy to help me with any questions I had. They went above and beyond to make sure I had the best movers! The movers came out and they packed everything up and made sure that everything was very safe and secure. The guys were very nice and understanding when I requested for a few things to be done in a certain way. They were on time but kept communication throughout the whole process. When my items got delivered there were a few things that had been damaged which is to be expected when moving 1500 miles but Allegiance was very helpful and helped me file the claim. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends!

Jocelyn Bly

Allegiance grossly underestimated their quote to move our house, the move was scheduled and the moving company called to confirm the night before, the next day the moving company didnt show up, I called them and they said oh well we couldnt make it we will be there tomorrow, I had to change my travel plans since they confirmed the night prior, which cost me more money, when the movers arrived they didnt have a big enough truck to fit all of our stuff, so I had to make arrangements for everything they couldnt fit to be loaded and brought to the new location, again costing more money. The movers called to confirm delivery 7 days prior to delivery, I spoke to the movers again 2 days before delivery and confirmed, then the day before delivery I was told, we wont be there it will be a few days later but could not give me an exact date. SO at this time Im still waiting for delivery. I have no idea what any of my stuff looks like or if there is damage etc, living in a new house sleeping on floors etc cause I have no idea when they will deliver my real furniture. Find someone else to move you, no one in customer service or my first point of contact were helpful in anyway rectifying the situation or reducing some of the cost due to the extra I had to pay for their lateness and wrong sized truck. PS Delivery company finally delivered my goods, most of our furniture had mud or grass on it like the stuff was left in a field somewhere before delivery, missing a large TV, 2 mattresses were completely soaked with water the mattress covers I purchased were not on the mattresses and they were ruined.

Will Sprout

Allegiance moving and storage picked up my furniture and some boxes I had in a storage unit in North Carolina and delivered them to my home in Massachusetts. They did a very good job and my belongings arrived in great condition.

Teddy Hammork

THEY ARE A FRONT. please believe all bad reviews as they are true. charged us $4,000 as a broker just to have a terrible 3rd party service come out and charge another $15,000 to half pack our home and move us 300 miles. charged 3x the price for gas, $2000 extra just for packing materials and used ALL OF OUR BOXES. ruined all mattresses because they did use mattress bags(but charged us for it), no tv boxes or protection of the tv screens. because over $12,000 in damaged property. this company is a front to many others all in the family network. please beware and do not use.

Tyson Patterson

My response to your reply below is, I was not dealing with the carrier directly, but rather speaking to your customer service that continually hung up on me and put me on hold. There is never a supervisor available either. Again to anyone considering using this company , beware and do not use them. They are unprofessional, they take your deposit and do not perform the expected services. If I could give this Company 0 stars or negative stars I would. Allegiance you can easily call me back as promised and try and resolve. My name is public. Christine D'Ottavio , you can easily look up my contract. So please stop bluffing.

diane cox

This was an amazing moving experience thanks to the 2 guys who moved me. They were pleasant, professional, caring about my belongings and wasted no time getting the job done. I hope not to move again any time soon (for my own lazy reasons), but I would definitely call these folks to do the job. Thank you.

Ashok Dahal

They have been helpful. Will be willing to do this survey after the move. The only complaint I have is when the company called or I called, it appears person I am talking must be home based. Very noisy in the background. Sounds like children the person talking to me was a little distracted and hard to hear. She however was kind and helpful.

Amy Smith

I have never seen guys work so hard in the cold. You could tell they were freezing but i didn't hear one single complaint from them. I tipped them all very well for their great job and they were extremely grateful and gracious.

Jaymar Marasigan

From the initial telesurvey and quote process, to the TLC of the packing crew, to the final delivery and unloading I could not have asked for more and all in the midst of a pandemic. They made me feel like I was their only client, yet I know how busy they are. Thank you for making the stressful process of moving so calm, thorough and professional.

Mark Crowder

I contracted with Allegiance to move me from MO to CA and let me just say....WOW. These guys came out and worked all day and made sure that everything was secure and safe for a cross country move. It took about 3 weeks to get my items which is to be expected when moving that far. The customer service was amazing and tried to help me with everything they could when I had any questions. Thank you allegiance for making this an easy move!

Billy Smart

Do not use this moving company broker. We were not given all the information in the beginning and our move rate doubled in price. Additionally, after our items were loaded on the truck and paperwork signed- we were told that they had 21 days to deliver to us. Halfway through we found out it was 21 business days so after 30 calendar days the truck arrived. Furniture was not placed where we wanted it and most was placed in our garage shop… and the movers literally ran to the truck when done leaving us to hire more help to move items upstairs and downstairs. Very unprofessional and left us feeling ripped off and disappointed in every way.

Dollie Aiken

This company and his team did a fantastic job moving us in yesterday. They were quick and efficient and so helpful in getting us all set up in our new place. Thank you! We will definitely be using this company again whenever we move.

Update: Stuff was delivered 61 days after pickup. Company that delivered made up a first available date. They claim we wrote down 8/18, even though I have the contract, estimate, and my signature saying July 7-8. Additionally, why would we call every other day for our stuff. Allegiance took their side even though the below states exactly what happened. They know the truth and should refund money. Beware, this company has poor customer service and does not stick to their contracts. Go with a local reputable mover who will honor their commitments. Story below, feel free to contact for more information. Allegiance was hired as the broker for our move from Kansas to Georgia. They hired American home relocation to move our stuff. Our stuff was picked up on July 3rd with a first available moving date of July 8th. It is now August 31st and we are still getting the runaround from both companies about when our stuff will be delivered. We have called almost every other day since the original time frame of 3-14 days were up. We were told yesterday by the carrier that our move wasn't even scheduled yet and we've only been waiting 8 days, but we know that is a lie as our contract says July 8th. We called allegiance as the owner likes to say on all these reviews to call customer service and get it taken care of, and I did that but I was told that they would figure it out and call me back. They did not call me back and now we are still waiting to hear when our stuff will be delivered. We have recordings of all phone calls between the carrier and the broker.

This company was responsive. The workers were professional. They did a great job packing my things. I had to have my property stored for months due to Rotelle builder’s who did not adhere to their end of there contract and left me essentially homeless. I had to make other arrangements and move into another home a couple of months later and Allegiance Moving and Storage worked with me and is delivering my property to another address. Many other Companies would not have been as accommodating. Many thanks.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!! If I was able to take away the 1 star I would. Just like anyone else, before moving we looked at reviews and this was rated one of the best, it could not have been WORSE. While at the home in NY they already broke several things and promised they’d pay us for it, then we waited over a week longer than the expected arrival of ALL of our items to SC. They never answered the phone or got back to me. For days we went without our every day belongings and had to buy things out of pocket. The customer service is absolutely terrible. Then, our items finally arrived. $2,000 tv broken, motorcycles scratched, and many other items destroyed and we were not given any money for these items. I’m still trying to contact them to get this $ back, but again, getting through to them is impossible. TRUST ME, find someone else to move your belongings. This place is truly a disaster. You will regret it if you choose this company. Don’t let the good reviews fool you. We were beyond generous with tips and trusted this company with all of our things moving to another state and not only did they destroy them, they have no decency to even get back to us.

Don’t go with anyone but Allegiance moving and storage! I didn’t have to pack a thing because I booked the platinum packing service for my move. I really thought about trying to save money and rent a uhaul but after comparing the prices and factoring in all the work I’d have to do, it was an easy decision. My sales rep was so patient with me during a stressful time in my life. Now thanks to Allegiance I was able to move across the state without even missing a day of work. I’m happy, my wife is happy and even my boss is happy!

Just like so many others,I was quoted a price, based off of my inventory sheet($5187).When the movers arrived, late, they told me that I needed to pay them a additional $2500,CASH.I had 1/3 less stuff being moved, than was on my original inventory.Could not get ahold of the dispatcher,go figure and my stuff was already loaded so,I had no choice.Upon delivery to my storage unit,I had to pay a additional $6200( should have been a $4600 balance).I also shipped a car.$200 up front,$1100 upon delivery. Driver gave no notice, just showed up at 9 am on a Sunday,5 miles from the delivery address and DEMANDED $1500 or he would take the car to Miami.I blocked his truck and told him that if he tried to leave,I would shoot out his tires and maybe more.He unloaded the car,I have him $1100,got a receipt and he left.Called Allegiance and of course" private contractor" nothing we can do. Overall,my $5187 move cost me approximately $10,000. DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS! I have contacted the Attorneys General offices in Nevada and Florida to file complaints and possible charges.
