We relocated from the US to Canada with McWilliams. They packed, shipped, stored, and delivered our household goods. The guys who packed and delivered our staff were really polite and professional, and we were pleased to find no substantial damage to our goods. So with this regard, we're pretty satisfied with the service we received. However, the company has to work on it's costumer service. Scheduling the packing and delivery days was a pain. They didn't do much to accommodate us and in both cases we were forced to accept the dates they dictated. Also, they moved our car using a third-party company. We sent McWilliams all the documents necessary but they delayed forwarding the documents to the third-party company, for no reasons (I hope it wasn't because they really didn't care), and that delayed the delivery of our car (the other company also delayed the delivery multiple times). Overall, they did a good job with the actual moving, but the company doesn't deserve and doesn't seem to appreciate its customers business.

Peter, Keagan and Chris were amazing and did a fantastic job moving our 3 bedroom, 2 story home. We could not have asked for a better result/outcome. They finished the move earlier than expected, making our quoted amount less. We will definitely recommend McWilliams to friends and family in the future.

Considering how complicated moving across the country is on top of a pandemic and booming real estate market, I couldn’t have had a better experience anywhere else. I would highly recommend this company for your move. The initial contact and then a FaceTime walk about through the house for an estimate was terrific due to the pandemic. The quote was reasonable and detailed. When the moving truck arrived it was on time and the three movers were polite and got straight to work. They worked hard and were very careful with our belongings. Chris, Pete and Keagan were an awesome crew and made a stressful day much easier. Thanks again.

Too be clear McWilliams Moving does one thing and that is obviously move you from one location to another. Since first contact the team provided responsive feedback, the quote was timely and informative. Talara called to remind us of the date and time the team would arrive. Brian and Mark showed up and took great care of packing our items onto the truck. Our move was from Ontario to Alberta so the team took extra time to get it right. Since COVID we purchased our home gym equipment and Mark figured out how to get it out in one piece. They needed to remove our door to get the treadmill out and Mark went above and beyond by noting that the door was not properly installed and asked us if we had longer screws so he could hang the door correctly - WOW! Hire Pros and you will always appreciate it.

McWilliams helped us move recently long distance within the province. Everyone who we met at McWilliam’s throughout our moving experience was so friendly and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for better service. Our family felt supported through the whole process. The team of guys that were at both homes took great care with our belongings and were great to have around. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is on the move.

Used these guys for my move from Brampton to Kitchener. The move was easy to arrange, and the movers were really friendly, had tons of supplies to do the job well (blankets, trolleys, straps, plastic, runners, etc.), and handled our things with care. (They didn't even complain when we asked them at the last minute to pick up a couple of items from a second location, although I wouldn't recommend doing that to your poor movers.) I don't want to invalidate the experiences of people who left poor reviews, but I can't see where they're coming from. My experience was absolutely excellent.

We recently used McWilliams to move to our new business location. The whole staff were very professional throughout the entire process. The moving crew did a great job in making sure all delicate items were well protected. I gave them some instructions at both ends of the move and they followed them perfectly. We will definitely use McWilliams for any of our future moves.

used these guys from waterloo-michigan. was entirely unimpressed, especially since we'd used McWilliams from NB-ON. Our posesssions were mish-mashed in boxes and not clearly labeled. Finding many boxes of misc. items. It's been a real pain finding the items we need. When we moved in it took me 3h of digging thru boxes to find the cables and remote for the TV. in the end it was in the bottom of an unlabelled box next to our mac mini. finally found my ratchet set after much searching at the bottom of a 5cu box labelled toys. great job, guys. have found MANY broken or damaged items including an antique chair, antique furniture trim, some automotive pieces, kids toys, tools. My wifes business clothes were in wardrobe boxes, but they the boxes were over-filled with other boxes cramming her clothes to the top. Everything she has was wrinkled. You name it, i'm sure i have a category where its broken/damaged. the most frustrating item(s) found broken thus far is about half of my daughters snow globe collection which my wife gets for her when she's away on business. sure, we'll get the monetary value back, but they can't be replaced. we are currently about 3/4 of the way thru unpacking and i just today found a poorly-packed mastercraft rack of screws/bolts/etc. its a bloody mess. i have talked with the manager who recognized the terrible job and will share my copious pics with his staff for training, but has not offered us any rebate, compensation, or otherwise. i can't recommend the waterloo branch of McWilliams for packing/moving

Nov 2016, used this company to move us and were not happy. The truck was too small for our needs. In order to complete the move in 1 trip, we had to load our own vehicles, and our trailer. We had damage done to several pieces of furniture and antique mirror frame was broken. We sent an email to the company along with pictures; they never responded. They instructed us to contact them to pick up the mirror and art boxes. We contacted them but the boxes sat outside in the rain for 2 weeks. We had to break them down and put them in recycling ourselves. Essentially, the quote was inaccurate, the truck was too small and some of our items were damaged.

Frauds - stay away. Better companies available. Paul "coach" Gaudet (yes, this is what he calls himself) came to our place to assess the moving fees. He seemed disinterested the entire time but promised a quote the following weeks. After trying to follow up with him several times for a quote there is still no response. Completely unprofessional.

Recently moved my mother into a retirement community from her condo and called McWilliams to provide a quote on a very short notice. They sent a sales rep to the condo the next day and we had a very competitive quote within a couple of hours. We booked the move with them and they handled all the details. Three guys did the move and they were polite, courteous, professional and efficient. They took very good care of my mothers possessions and helped move the boxes and furniture to exactly where we wanted them. I would recommend them to anyone who asks.

Horrible customer service and backed out on us at the last minute. Call them and they hung the phone up on us!!!!! They did not even give us a reason why.......just hung up on us......stay away from this company.

Tim, Tony, and Ben were my movers. They did a fantastic job; they were very careful with all my belongings, worked quickly, and were extremely polite. They were able to read the mood of the room and made my moving day easy and stress-free. It was clear who the team lead was, and he kept things on track and moving seamlessly. I was very happy to have such a competent team of movers. Caroline was my moving coordinator; she went above and beyond what was expected (including a home visit on the weekend). She was very thoughtful and contacted me during the move to make sure everything was going according to plan. I wouldn't hesitate to hire McWilliams Moving and Storage again.
