Very nice service and excellent staff. Stored someone our things here after the move from Ontario. Located in downtown Victoria, you are able to travel almost anywhere from this point so it's a perfect location for me. There is a recycling ♻️ depot across the street to for anything glass or plastic (hard plastic only). They have 24hr access to the building so you can get in whenever you need to.

Great security. All the units are inside and upstairs and to get to them you have to go by the office and check in electronically. The staff are very helpful, as well.

After having used other Uhaul locations in the city I decided to try this one - and am happy I did. I had much better service here, the truck was in much better shape and the check in/out was so much smoother. Thank you Colleen and Neville for the excellent service. There is minimal street parking and the bays are a bit tight, but no issue if you take your time. Would definitely recommend.

This place has the best people working for them! We moved to the island in Dec 2019 with snow and wind canceling ferries and when we finally got here Neville was kind and helpful and got us to our locker quickly. He even offered to keep a spare key on file if we ever forgot or lost ours! The storage unit itself was bright and clean. On move out Day (During the June 2021 heat bubble!) Colleen was there to help us when I backed into their garage door by accident. Note to everyone else, make sure you can see the red and green lights of the garage door when backing up!! Not a major incident but it had the chance to ruin our exciting day moving into our new home. Colleen got us loading the truck while she handled the door. She verified that I had gotten the insurance on my rental and informed me of my responsibilities. She was kind and respectful and made a world of difference when I already felt terrible for my mistake. If you need storage go here! They are great people and that always matters the most!

The manager, Carmen, has some above and beyond customer care. Beyond the usual stuff, she was a fierce advocate on behalf of my friends and I when the van we returned was the unfortunate victim of some graffiti in my neighbourhood. We had done everything right (e.g., gotten the damage waiver, filed a police report, etc.), so she used that to leverage reducing our final bill which would otherwise have been 3x the initial cost. I look forward to my next experience at this location!

Great service and reasonable prices. Staff called ahead to make sure we knew the address and explained where to park. They suggested returning the vehicle before 7 pm to use in-person service instead of after hours automated return. We were very happy with them! Highly recommended.

Have used for almost a year now. Always have had courteous service and no issues. They have offered to move rental trucks out to make room for unloading and have been helpful in advising about using the elevator so door doesn't close on you while you are moving stuff.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a company.. I ended up paying a total of $325 for a one day rental after my U-haul van was towed on Thanksgiving day for a marathon.. the insurance covered nothing. They promised me I could pay a $30 traffic ticket myself, so I went online to pay it and it wasn't there. Then two months later I was more than double charged for the ticket on my credit card for $75.. when I called customer service it was almost like they were trying to avoid my issue and keep the money they took from me by deferring me to other phone numbers until I gave up.. I called 6 or 7 times over the span of more than 2 weeks and was put on hold for up to 10 minutes almost every time.. they promised me emails, and return phone calls I didn't receive.. lines were dropped.. they gave me a loss collection phone # that was really a phone number for a drug store.. nothing was ever resolved.. this company really doesn't deserve anyone's business.. I will never rent with U-haul again

I called this location and they did not have one and offered to check other locations without me even asking. They were wonderful and found me a van :)

Very friendly and courteous service. The location is close to downtown and convenient for me. The van I rented was very new and well taken care of. They have a smaller fleet than the Nanaimo street location so be sure to book in advance.

Staff here, are great! They made the rental process easy, despite how long check lists before and after a rental can be. We needed a vehicle to move furniture from a warehouse to our home. The whole trip was 6kms, we had the truck for a total of 20mins and we were afforded the care and attention of a large scale rental. This location is also a storage facility and moving centre. On the day that we were there, a couple were dropping off some strong carton boxes they'd just employed in their move. They were recycling the boxes so another family could get a use out of them. The boxes were in very good shape and probably still have a lot of life in them, and it was great to see U-Haul supporting recycling and providing an area for used boxes to be recycled. In the future, we will absolutely rent here, again.

Really terrible layout (for parking and otherwise... total clusterf*ck. Super understaffed... 1 person to handle nearly a dozen people waiting in line (and for a rental to fill out all the details... easily over an hour wait!). Other customers were having ongoing disputes over miscommunications and extra fees... seems like this place is terribly mismanaged and understaffed.
