I was lucky to get a storage unit here after a brutal and horrible month and suddenly needing to find room for a three bedroom townhouse and a bike worth of stuff when moving into one bedroom of a friends place. I was a customer during a transition between homes. The storage is clean and secure, but not cheap. However, TAKE NOTE: they act like they are doing you a favour by billing every four weeks (instead of monthly). “It’s easy to prorate the month when you are leaving”, they say. Well to do that, you need to let them know with all kinds of notice. Every time you go to the office poor Agnes is on the phone trying to collect outstanding rent and even though I put a credit card of file to make it easier, they wouldn’t think about offering me a credit for the weeks after I moved out! Cost me almost $400 in rent for time I wasn’t using it!! I tried to call the regional manager 4-5 times and never got a call back. Overall, I left disappointed.

During this past year with covid. They are incredibly inflexible with anything, theyre rude about things when there is a pandemic going on. When every other company in Canada is making impasse to help out others, access storage is hiking prices. I was skeptical of access over 2 years ago when I signed on. Since then they've done nothing but hike the prices by $100 in 2 years. They charge more than anyone in town, and could care less about it customers during this pandemic. I was flat out told when it hit that they don't care if I had a job or not. They don't make exceptions. I HAD to pay them. Hell my car loan was decent enough to push my payments off until I went back to work. My insurance payment did the same. This is literally the ONLY company I've encountered in this pandemic that could care less, as long as they get their money. I WILL BE TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! Its cheaper to rent a barn and use it as storage. Anyone wana go splits and save some money and have more space?!?! I could care less how clean it is if they don't even care about the ppl that pay thier wages. I can clean things up myself.

The storage facility and unit itself are great and if it were not for the expanding potholes they would have scored a five on that part of my experience. On the administrative side of doing business with Access Storage gets a negative one star. They were not helpful, not trust worthy and incompetent, check your invoices because correct data entry is not something they're great at. At least at the Stratford Ontario location anyway.

Like other reviews, I wasn't 100% sure about using access initially (via a centralised call centre...) But upon meeting Angela all my worries evaporated! Totally recommend. The ease of a larger, online, larger company presence, but with levels of customer service that you typically only get from smaller companies. Units are clean and dry. Well maintained. And good security system. At the end of the rental, everything was smooth too. Easy to load, then a quick clean and everything was sorted. Thank you very much!

I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and there just isn't enough room for everything. Access storage has made it easy for me to store my extra/seasonal belongings. When it came time to move to a bigger locker, they made the transition simple and painless. I really appreciate the friendly service, security of my belongings, extra space and ease of access to my Access Storage Locker.

I wasn't too sure about using a storage unit, but I had to store my whole house items. The cost is alittle pricey, but once I met Angela, I started to feel a lot better about choosing Access Storage. Every time I ran into Angela, be it at the office paying my rent payments monthly or seeing her at the storage place itself Angela was always smiling and refreshing! To me she made my short stay with Access Storage great. If you have a time in the future and you need to store a few items, or a lot of items, please let Access Storage be your # 1 choice. You'll be glad you did!!!!

The unit itself was fine. Clean and secure. Pricing is definitely high and customer service is unfortunately lacking. Great initial experience when signing up but during our 2 year experience, customer service and business practices were inflexible and often abrupt and rude and for that reason, I cant recommend and will use other services in the future.

Well I was told it was a 15 foot storage unit and said I had a trailer that was 14.6’ and it wouldn’t fit!! Why because the unit isn’t 15 foot, it’s 14.4 feet. They advertise the cement pad, but the door comes down in the unit taking away the extra space they say it is. Not fair! I called and was told they had a 20 foot unit and assumed they just transfer the money I paid over for it ..... and YEA NOPE! Told I loose my money on this unit and had to pay in full for the larger unit!! TBS, and not fair at all. When you call and give the measurements you need, you’d hope that they would tell yea it’s not exactly 15 and say take the 20. I’m out 90 bucks but I dam well gonna keep it to store a box in it! Just moved to Stratford, crappy way to kick things off I must say...

The location is good . The cost is comparable to other storage locations . The staff is very friendly . My reason for only giving 3 stars is due to the very inadequate insurance policy which I took out , thinking "I'm covered" . It turns out that anything that can happen ( in my case , the unit being flooded) is covered by the Act of God clause . Very disappointing .

I needed to have storage quick and that is exactly what they provided the units are clean they have a light in them and it is very secure there, I was always confident that my things were safe. When you walk in to ask about a unit you are greeted by this bright bubbly woman Agnus she is wonderful she makes sure you understand how things work and even listens to your stories even if maybe shes a little busy. I have now been a customer with Access Storage for two years now. Anyone who moves or downsizes, knows the benefits of having extra storage. Angela at the Stratford office is a joy to work with. I appreciate interacting with people with a good sense of humour and an affable way of dealing with all and sundry situations. Angela fits both of those criteria. I have changed units twice and both times, this was accomplished easily with her help. A Good Business and helpful staff - what more can we ask for?
