I have used them twice already and I have been more than happy with their service. They were punctual friendly and very professional. We had a couch that couldn't fit through the doors, but they managed to work around it and deliver all our belongings without any damage. They were fast and very considerate of the time. It was the hottest day of the week but these guys worked fast and safe. Latif and his team were just great and handled our stuff with care all the while being very friendly and considerate. Right of the bat the terms and rates were settled and everything was made clear. When it came time to pay there was no dispute and what we were quoted is what we paid. Hopefully we won't be moving again, but if I did I will deff. use them again.

The team arrived on time and didn't doddle or waste time. They were experienced, skilled and took care of our most precious belongings. I appreciate their organization and neatness; all boxes were placed in the correct room and there was a clear walking path. They even helped us assemble all the beds before they left. I hired Umbrella Movers to move my company with very short notice. They were able to accomodate, arrived on time and worked efficiently to get the job done. Communication prior to the job was excellent, like informing us of the rate in written form, additional cost if applicable and what to expect with their service. A phone call the day before to confirm and get any other details to ensure the move went smooth. The crew was hard working, polite and courteous. They always communicated with us while unloading to ensure they were putting things in the proper spots. Very friendly and professional. I would Highly recommend Umbrella Movers. I was ripped off by a m9ving com0any that I prepaid for a week in advance and was left waiting at my storage unit with no truck no movers and 2 hours away from my move location. I don't think I've ever been more impressed with a company. From the moment I reached out for an estimate, manager Jacqueline was prompt, friendly, detailed and flexible. On the big day, team leader Satif (sp?) and two others arrived on time and got right to it. He and his younger colleague were especially helpful as we moved from a rental building with a small elevator to a new condo with a LOT of stairs, in the afternoon heat, at rush hour.

We used Umbrella 3 times in the span of 3 months for moving services as we staged, sold, and moved to a new house. Jacqueline is super kind & communicative, and really understands that moving is awful. Our first move as we staged our home went off without a hitch, so I requested the same team for our next 2 moves which was accommodated. The team seemed to care more about our possessions and the hourly rate than we did, which was refreshing! The move team was so polite, helpful, and kind. Safety precautions were in place. Jacqueline was absolutely professional and kind. She provided all the info needed and everything was absolutely straight to the point. She was very personal and showed attention to detail and actually cared for us before, during, and after our move. The price was fair for a local move in Scarborough. Umbrella Movers is definitely unlike the other moving companies trying to find every fee in the book to charge you with to earn more. They care and they give you fair prices for a local Scarborough move. The only downside was not being able to get a 16 footer truck, a bigger truck was all they seemed to have the day of our move. We were moving to an apartment that's connected to a storefront. Our doorsteps to our new place is beside an alleyway that the big truck couldn't drive through. Because the truck was so big, they had to spend more time finding parking and moving the furniture through the storefront building. If they were able to provide a smaller truck, more time would have been saved and we would have paid less as it would have fit through the alleyway. But overall, the movers were amazing and kind. They are hard working and lovely to speak to. They did their job well despite doing it during the pouring rain. I'm thankful for their hard work. Although we couldn't get a smaller truck, we would definitely go with Umbrella Movers again in the future.

I had used Umbrella Movers last minute for a move from our Uhaul Ubox to our apartment. I have nothing but good things to say about the team that came and moved our things that day. I had called the day before for a last minute move, and was lucky enough to get a slot! They were very thorough in insuring that I felt I had all the relevant information prior to them arriving, and they were nothing but kind in easing my mind with any last minute requests. The two men that arrived to aid in my move were SO polite. Very easy to have a conversation with, and were very gentle with all my furniture that was being moved from a U-haul location to my apartment. They were very fast, too, and managed to fit it all in one of their vans. I was a little unprepared with how to have them move the stuff in from their truck into our apartment, but they were very patient and understanding as I figured that out. Once I had that done, it was smooth sailings and I couldn't be happier with the service they provided. If you're on the fence - these are your guys! I would recommend them for anybody looking to move!

We contacted this mover company for moving out a two bedroom apartment. Jacqueline was absolutely an amazing lady. Very professional, polite, helpful. She went beyond her way to assist us. Her supervisor is an understanding person and when we told him about our issues, he was ready to assist us in anyway. The two movers were Afghan and we pleased to meet them. They were extremely professional, they knew exactly what to do and took them less hours than what we assumed. We would love to hire them again and again. Overall, all the services that are offered by them from contacting all the to completion of move was a five star to us. Yes the company is a bit costly but knowing that you are getting the best service and knowing that the company’s main concern is customer’s happiness, it’s definitely worth paying them.

Umbrella Movers recently helped me move between one-bedroom apartments in Toronto and Kitchener, and the process was smoother that I could have imagined. Jacqueline was helpful and thorough in her email contact, updating my arrangements when I realized I had underestimated the amount of things I needed to move. The three-man crew arrived on time and were friendly and efficient in moving everything, even items that were awkward to pack away. The unloading process was just as efficient, and they made sure that everything was placed where I wanted it. On top of that, the rate was very reasonable compared to other companies in Toronto that I priced beforehand. I plan to use Umbrella Movers for any future moves in southern Ontario, because of the great service they provided.

Downsized on Thursday July 26th. Selected our movers from the net. Umbrella Movers based in Scarborough did our move. Three men with a 26' truck arrived on time worked straight through until the job was done. I don't think they even took a break let alone lunch. Enlisted them to help move a large piece of gym equipment. After sending me a confirmation letter saying everything was good to go, they waited until the last second to tell me payment had to be in cash. The initial request to have this moved came from the fact that I'm not in the area and working remote for my boss, so paying cash in person wasn't an option. They claimed paying in person with cash was always agreed upon, which it was clearly not, in a particularly RUDE and CONDESCENDING fashion. I explained to them I had already put down deposit on this piece of equipment, and even offered to pay them more money, but they refused-- once again in rude and condescending fashion. This is has put me a terrible spot. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS. Not reliable, terrible communication.

Wow, we put our two movers through the ringer and they were the consummate professionals the whole way. Thank you so much for taking the stress out of a very stressful day. What a great attitude they both had. We have them taking boxes out of a crawl space and then unloading them down into a basement. Recently, I moved twice in 30 days and used Umbrella Movers both times. They were absolutely brilliant in relieving a lot of the stress that comes with moving due to their speed, thoroughness, professionalism, care and friendliness during both moves. They wrapped every piece of large furniture in plastic wrap which was great because it was pouring buckets the day we moved my furniture into storage. Once month later, I moved into my new place (it snowed that day!) and experienced exactly the same consistency in service when moving my possessions from storage to the new place. Beware !! Ridiculous and completely insane! We placed an order to move safe and they are supposed to come prepared. They just arrived at the place and realized that they need a forklift/crane. They hardly spent 5-10mins at the max and said they need to be paid for an hour which is $ 145.00/hr (absolute craziness). Now that they have come, we asked them to atleast move the other items so we could pay them. He started demanding for 2 hours pay now ($ 290.00) to move an item within scarborough which is hardly 10 mins drive from ellesmere to eglinton. These kinda people are a curse to the city.
