My shipment was picked up in Dubai end of July it has been 3.5 months and it still has not been delivered to Mississauga! Last week it arrived in Vancouver for some reason and they are telling me they have no idea when it will be sent to Mississauga. Terrible service! I had told them last month that I will be traveling end of November. Now I don’t know what to do. Don’t use them they are extremely unreliable!
Due to Covid, we had to get my daughter’s apartment moved to storage in Toronto from here in the Yukon. I found Tippet Richardson online and called for a quote. Spoke with the General Manager (Blair) and he was professional from the start sending information and answering any questions. He always got back right away and we set up a game plan. The day before the move I got a call to confirm the time they would arrive. The day of the move, they arrived on time and were professional and friendly. They carefully wrapped items up and got the job done in a timely fashion. Would definitely recommend

Moving is a stressful experience. For my mom, she hadn't moved in over 30 years and she was very rest assured by the service delivered by Tippet Richardson. The crew arrived and introduced themselves by name. They explained the process for the day and were courteous at all times. Everything was handled gently. There was zero damage to any of the contents or either of the houses. The staff were all easy to get along with and were in constant communication through the day. The crew of Kirk W, Hobbie, LA, Tyler and Kevan are all top notch. Hiring this company will really put your mind at ease!
My wife and I used them for the third time in December. There is a real difference between professional movers and the lowest priced movers. TR Limited sent a sales guy to come give us a quote and he helped us prepare for the move. I once used the least expensive movers I could find. These guys were sketchy movers that quoted one price and then held me and all of my worldly possessions hostage, until they raked me over the coals for significantly more - Don't make this mistake. With Tippet-Richardson, you get what you pay for. They are friendly and efficient. I am grateful that they got us through our move on time and for the same amount that was quoted. They deliver the real red carpet treatment and their men are professionals. 3 of the 4 guys had been with the company for many years...They mentioned that the company provides them with a great benefit package. They did their job with care and pride. Nothing lost or stolen : ) All in all, they weren't the 'cheapest', they were the best and worth every cent spent, as I value my stuff.
I moved June 2017. Kelvin and strong crew were so efficient at blanket wrapping furniture, moving boxes, protecting floors, very professional and courteous. High five guys. I never lifted a thing cause they did not allow me. Great price great memorable service and long lasting impression. Thanks.

I would highly recommend Tippet Richardson for local moving within the Toronto area. The crew of three, Hubbie, Kirk B and Tory were very polite and professional. They moved our furniture from condo to house with care to our items and went above and beyond to get a large item up to the second floor of our home where there was very tight access. Pricing was fair.
Drivers parked up on sidewalk with a ramp completely preventing its use in a busy retail neighbourhood. When asked politely to move, both the driver and movers used abusive language.
would not recommend this company at all. Giving them 1 star seems to be too much. Their estimate to do the job in 1 day resulted in 2 with much inconvenience and additional expense. Missing quite a few things from the move which I now have to take them to court for recovery on.
I can without reservation say that the team from Tippett Richardson, from start to finish, was thorough, professional, courteous, and went far beyond all expectations. They took a huge swathe of worry off our shoulders with a " Right then. Leave it all to us" approach. The initial consult with Warwick was thorough and he made a real effort to ensure all angles would be covered (pro-tip: absolutely get an in house consult: other companies quoting you over the phone or internet WILL be more expensive and WILL screw you when it comes to moving day) On moving day, Bill and Carlisle and the crew showed up early, and pretty much took over, laid down mats and protective coverings, and completely blew us away with how quickly they got things sorted and packed up - the whole house was done in under 3 hours. At the other end, these gentlemen went to town and had the truck unloaded in just under 2 and a half hours, and everything was proper and sorted. I cannot stress enough how wonderful and reassuring a company with this level of professionalism can be on what is a stressful day- I rarely give five stars for anything, as you'll see in other varied reviews: this crew from Tippett Richardson earned them, and then some. Highly highly recommended.
Lynn Flanagan. This person....it's hard to write down how amazing she is! From initial meeting, to multiple moves as the house was prepped for sale, to storage locker emptying (and moved to their facilities short term). She handled everything - and I mean everything! Moving is very, very stressful...she answered every single question and responded with clear and concise results. You pay for quality - and at first blush it may seem a bit expensive, trust me - it's the deal of your life! Thank you Lynn!!!!!!!!!!
We had a great experience recently moving from Oakville to Grand Bend. Barry Stibbard (very nice gentleman) made our quote and oversaw the move, the very professional Joe Bueller crew. We can only say good things about the moving crew, a great, happy, tight, lively, hard working gang (everyone seemed to have their specialty) that kept going until the 18 wheeler was full the first day and empty the second day (after a 3 hours drive having to go back again at the end of the day). Nothing hurt or broken! We also found the price right, after ending up doing 4 quotes. Great work guys! Thanks.

The box arrived to Toronto and disappeared, they are not taking any kind of responsibility for that
Really disappointed with the claims process after I was encouraged by the movers to transport an electronic device on the truck, only to have it broken. Non-responsive, unhelpful and no accountability. If I wanted this kind of shoddy service, I would have hired a couple of local guys off Craig's list to move us from our apartment into our new home at a fraction of the cost. Over-priced and crappy customer service.
When I was looking for an international moving company to ship my belongings from Canada to the Netherlands I selected Tippet Richardson because of all the good reviews this company had. And here I am adding another excellent review. The staff behind the scenes are great to work with, good communication and easy to reach, they were very professional and helped me with all my issues and questions. The staff that came to my house to pack my belongings were nice and worked quickly and efficiently. All my belongings arrived at destination without a scratch. They coordinated with a company here that took care of the customs declarations for me. A big thumb up for this company and I will definitely recommend Tippet Richardson if you a looking for a reliable moving company.
Tippet Richardson was the local agent involved in moving my cargo from Dubai to a storage unit in Toronto. They were easily accessible and prompt in sharing information. Betsy George handled our case, was accommodative of last minute requests and delivered great service. The crew arrived on time and called me earlier to inform that they were on their way. They were polite and efficiently moved my cargo into storage. Overall, a very good experience.

Tippet Richardson is well organized International moving company. They relocate me without any frustration within my budget. I strongly recommend them for local , cross border and international moving.
The two movers that came to our office were professional, friendly, fast and efficient. They quickly setup and packed all the items carefully and then packed them onto the moving trolley and loaded them in the truck. They then came back and cleaned up the area that they had been working, provided me with all the documents and were on their way. Great job! Will use them for all our moving and shipping needs in the future.
Tippet Richardson provided an excellent and most professional service, and were able to respond to a short notice request without issue. You can get cheaper, but Tippet was the best price I could find from a reputable provider.
I hate to give this Company a bad review as I don't like to ruin it for the few good movers who are hard workers, however the unprofessionalism of one can impact a group. Our move was a two day experience and on day 1, one of the movers became intoxicated and by the end of the day was a disaster - I won't go into the details unless someone is interested. They also damaged my front door, the railing post leading to the basement and the basement stair wall. More care definitely was required. As well, they forgot a fridge (in the basement) and were totally agreeable to returning to get it, however, the salesperson who I contacted to advise of this missed item, snapped at me that 'Hadn't I done a 'look around' before they left', and grudgingly agreed to call them back. (I was not advised to do this and walked around the house AFTER they drove off). Up until this small problem, the salesperson had been great to deal with, but was obviously not wanting to deal with any issues. Not impressed. Day 2 involved unloading Day 1 items and picking up some items at a storage unit - they showed up 3 hours late but at least they had replaced the intoxicated mover with a pro mover who was great. I advised I did not want the new house dented and banged like the one we left and all the movers worked hard and did their best NOT to ruin anything in the new house. Apart from the extremely late arrival with an explanation that they 'got lost' -what no one in truck has google maps, come on - day 2 of the move went fine. Summary, this is a Company that has been around for years and I thought I would be guaranteed a good experience. Sorry to say, a few bad apples can ruin the barrel. I would never use them again.
We used Tippet Richardson for our move and I have to say I was totally amazed at their professional service. Everything was individually wrapped and handled with care. The movers Kirk W, James Jr, Hobbie & Adrian we fabulous and extremely careful, pleasant and knew what they were doing. Kirk also helped us by suggesting layouts in different rooms. I would recommend Tippet Richardson for all your moves.
I had a great experience with Tippet Richardson's service. I shipped my personal items, 21 boxes, from the UAE using a partner company ISS Relocation which were also very efficient. Betsy from the Toronto office was in regular communication with me keeping me informed of when and where the shipment was. But the best part was meeting their one-and-only very professional, easy-going and spirited female driver Tamara. Boxes were delivered ahead of schedule, unloaded and unpacked efficiently. I highly recommend them.
I would give this company 0 stars they packed and shipped my items from Canada to the UK. My items were poorly packed and after I complained they said they would re-wrap the items. Which they never did, once items arrive to the UK most of my shipment was damaged. After speaking to them about getting the details of there insurance company, they didn't want to know and told me to ring this number in the UK and hung up they didn't even tell me who or what company I was ringing they literally just give me a phone number. There service to get your money is fantastic, the service you receive once you have paid them if horrific. I wouldn't use this company again. I'm very disappointed.
Horrible unorganized service. unreasonable pricing. Wanted to have things packed and moved turned out the quote was more expensive than the actual items moved, canceled within 1 hour of booking a date but still didnt give the go ahead for the move. However they didnt refund the deposit. NEVER even signed anything. They tried to squeeze as much money from us when they found out we werent going to do business with them. Then theres the service, uninformed staff that have no idea what they are talking about, refused to take calls, never called back from voicemails... even picking up the phone and hanging up. and while im here, when you represent a company and try to pull a suit and dress pants to look professional ok but.. your old New Balance running shoes stick out.
I was told even before sharing details about what I am moving, I won't receive my things on the same day because, there is no revenue for them if they do so! So strange It's sad

WORST moving experience OF MY LIFE! (and I've moved A LOT) I've never had so many things get severely damaged or go missing. ???? I should have known by my first interactions with Blair M. (a manager), that this was NOT the company to use. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but this was CLEARLY an error. He was dismissive and somewhat impatient... and did not answer all my questions. I only used this company, because a friend recommended Tippet Richardson. Blair gave me the basic insurance through Sirva, but didn't tell me that I would have to file the claim the same day it was delivered, because it was being moved into a storage unit. I am a single mother ... to an infant, at the time. Who can complete such a significant claim with a teething baby in the remaining 12 hours of the day?? Had I known this, I WOULD NOT have gone with Tippet Richardson. Well... the first issue was that Tippet Richardson subcontracted to Lewis Movers... which is NOT on the Canadian Association of Movers. I don't usually hire such a pricey moving company (they charged me over $8000), but I thought that they would take care of my family heirlooms. NOT THE CASE!!! They loaded my items into the truck, then UNLOADED it into their warehouse... when my belongings were delivered to my new address 3 weeks later, there were so many items with what I'm describing as WILFUL damage. It looked like they had not taken even basic care to ensure that my things weren't destroyed. Family heirlooms irreparably damaged. Had I not seen the edge of the china cabinet (imported from Italy and a family treasure), I wouldn't have e-mailed Blair that same day. It wouldn't have been noted until I moved the items to my home, if not for that chance sighting from under the moving blanket. The Lewis Movers driver indicated that he noticed the damage and marked it on the inventory sheet, which was not the case. Sirva would not honour my claim submission, though they had initially given me 3 months to complete it... There are things I cannot replace. There are things that I cannot afford to repair. And... I'm out of luck. If you value your belongings, I would NEVER use Tippet Richardson, Lewis Movers or any company who uses Sirva as their insurance provider. I can't undo what they've done. ????
Unfortunately I have to pick a star, but it would not be even worth one! I can only underline what David mentioned before. Service is unprofessional, price level way above the competitors. Only had a business card 2 weeks before my international move for preparation and had to approach them for every little step. Competitors like ALLIED did a way better job and provided me with activity checklists for my move even before I received a quote from them. They broke my exercise bike (worth 600€) during transport which was not covered by the insurance which was offered by their moving partner. Some valuable items that were packed in front of my eyes and got lost on the way (my belongings were repacked from a truck to the shipping container). They did not take the blame for it. All in all it was an awful experience, NEVER again!
