I spoke to Niko a month ahead of my move and he clearly stated to me that the price for the truck and 2 movers would be $89.99 per hour. I booked the date and time of my move with him same day as talking to him. The day before the move I called him to confirm and then he had no idea what I was talking to him and asked me again to give him the time and date and stated the same rates he had previously told me. The following day I pack as much of my personal stuff into my car as I can to lighten the work load for the movers and move most of my small stuff myself to my new 1 bedroom place as I wanted to save time and money. I had booked the movers for 1pm so come back to my old place before the stated time to wait for the movers. 1:30 pm comes around and no movers. I call Niko directly and no answer. He called me back shortly after and stated they got held up and will be there for 2 which I agreed was fine. 3:30 pm comes around and I had movedpretty much all my small items myself to my new place at this point and head back to my new place and still no movers. They arrived close to 4pm and only had to move 3 pieces of furniture and 5 boxes between 2 guys to my new place. Did not take even an hour for them to finish and then they charged me $250. Spoke to Niko on the phone and he claimed it is policy that they charge 3 hours minimum for the time. I got so man because he did not once tell me this when we were discussing the rates and booking time. Do not ever use this moving company because they are a bunch of crooks. Worse movers I have ever used.

Great service and good pricing! Helped my family move in Newmarket and they finished the move quickly and professionally. They took great care of our furniture by wrapping our glass items and securing furniture to the truck. The movers were extremely kind and hardworking. I recommend to anyone that is looking to move.

Please DO NOT use this company. I was moving from a 3 bedroom house into a new property. I thought this would be a common situation for most experienced moving companies. On moving day, the 3 movers spent hours on the phone with Niko arguing about the terms of our agreement (confirmed a month before in writing and on the phone) and then unloaded the 12 boxes they had slowly loaded onto their truck, said they wouldn't do the move - and drove away! Only after I threatened litigation did they return with 5 men, 2 trucks and talk of higher rates. The movers smoked on the truck with my possessions on board, and didn't pack their truck properly, so multiple trips had to be done to the storage lockers ( which I was forced to rent because Niko didn't follow through on his promise to store the furniture on the truck for a day.) Only with my help was this first part of the job finished before midnight. I thought Niko would try extra hard to make up for the first part of the move, but instead, he also backed out of the second part of the move (from the lockers to the new house) saying his men weren't available as he said they would be, but he could do it another day. Instead, I hired another moving company as I should have from the first - this company's 3 men fit everything onto one truck and unloaded it at my house in the same time as the 5 men sent by Niko. Was this all a scam by Niki Moving? It would seem so. Please stay away from this company. Don't turn an already stressful day into a nightmare.

This company has moved me multiple times. I trusted this time that the owner would take care of the sofa they destroyed the previous move. He didn’t! This move, the guys took 9 hours to move furniture into a 10x 20 storage locker therefore extremely slow. The complained all day. The locker was packed so horribly that I have no space to add to it as I need too. Pics below. Our expensive credenza was damaged in all sides and the mover took no responsibility when it was in new condition. The owner has not replied to any of my messages and does not deserve your business.

Coordinating a successful move requires a committed team effort. From my initial call to Niko, scheduling the move, through to the successful completion of the move by Terry and Ryan, everything was without incident. Moving is a back-breaking job that cannot be taken for granted. Terry and Ryan deserve a sincere thank you. Their service surpassed ALL of my expectations. They did an excellent job of making sure that ALL items were safely and securely packed on the truck. When they arrived at the Four Elms Retirement Residence they diligently unloaded the furniture and boxes with care and consideration and placing them in the appropriate rooms. Thank you, Niko, Terry, and Ryan your SERVICE was EXCELLENT!!! Please be assured that I will further recommend your services.

I have used Niko moving 3 times for moving household items in the past and twice I had no issues. I used his service October 9, 2021, and I was very disappointed in his service. The reason is he damaged the stairs in my brand new house, did not apologize for it, broke the new $3000.00 65" TV and many dishes and plates. After unpacking things I messaged him but he did not even bother to respond or apologize. Really disappointed and I will never use his service again.

We used Niko regardless of the reviews on here as few friends had recommended it, and we were not disappointed. They arrived on time to move my whole house into a 2 bedroom condo. The elevator was having complications and the workers walked up SEVERAL flights of stairs to get the job done and avoid needing to pay an extra day for their services until the elevators were working again. Nothing was broken and they were flexible with their prices. Will forever use Niko for my moves .. also one of the workers was extremely good looking and very reassuring.

I used Niko moving's service to move my furnitures from Toronto to St. Catherines. the movers wrapped the furniture very good and placed them in their truck and used their straps and bungees to secure them and not to scratch my furniture. they were fast and polite. Niko Moving seems like a good company. The owner pays his workers in CASH at the end of each day. Little does Niko’s customers know that he does not pay his proper part over to WSIB. When a worker gets hurt on a job site it will be the responsibility of the customer to pay for medical and lost wages to the injured person. Niko also has a British Gent working there. He does NOT have legal status in Canada to work but yet he has been working at Niko’s for years. I hope my review will help consumers make the right choice.

I've used Niko three times now and have always been incredibly satisfied. In my latest move, it took far longer than expected (9am-after midnight) and the guys barely took a break and worked hard throughout, despite the fact that the job was far more extensive than anticipated. I highly recommend this company (despite some mixed reviews on here) and will use them again in the future.
