We have sent 6 shipments with bowline to date. Not a single one went smooth. Their office is complete chaos. Days without responses, finally getting pricing, forgetting conversations, mixed up shipments, poor communication, it was all chalked up to growing pains. We accepted all the screwups as we have staff too and as they had always fixed them we were good with it. Then the last shipment that was a repeat job, same product same client same urgency etc their dispatch made the assumption that the suggested departure date was more important than the arrival date despite us telling them that a 1.2M well turndown completion was riding on this shipment being on time. Right before the truck arrived we called to quadrupole check the schedule to insure no issues for our client and we were told by bowline that in order to meet the schedule we had requested a week prior the shipment would have needed to leave the day before. They offered a phone number for another company and said they would “wash their hands” of the situation because hey could not be expected to meet a delivery timeline. We told them that we needed it down no matter what and that any extra costs would be sorted out after. They said too bad we aren’t going to move any product for you ever again. We ended up hiring a hot shot to drive the shipment down. This resulted in an additional 8000$ to the original quote. Once the client heard about this they immediately called our office and wired 100% of the additional costs to us without even being asked. They said that they were blown away and extremely grateful that we did whatever was necessary to insure we kept our timeline and take care of them. We now have a client for life. Bowline unfortunately has been blacklisted as they give up and hide when a mistake is made instead of taking care of the clients.

Good place to make money, as an O/O, but, be warned, do NOT ASK QUESTIONS; not of the load or rates! My husband and I ran like we've never run before and, apparently, it still wasn't good enough! We generated over 100G's in 2.5 months (our Customer Service was above question), and out of the blue, we get an email from Tyler, firing us! He didn't even have the courtesy to call us in and discuss any concerns! Oh well, hope they can survive, as a Transportation Business ....

Through work, we used this company to transport a small building from British Columbia to Ontario. We were informed the whole time as to where the driver was and when the estimated arrival time was. This was especially critical seeing as how we needed to coordinate a crane to offload the building! The driver was awesome as well, and even assisted with the offload to ensure all went well. All in all a great experience and would recommend this company!

I had purchased several genie man lifts from 3 different locations throughout the south west united states. Bowline was prompt with pickups & delivery. We had several issues with a bad broker which was my end that didn't seem to hold anyone up too bad. As well one other issue with some wind damage to one of the machines that Bowline took care of right away. Would definitely use them for out of country freight servicing, just make sure you use their broker!

As an owner operator at Bowline Logistics for the past year I can honestly say I have never had a better experience. I've had good paying freight on my trailer and the office staff is open and honest. We do all kinds of LTL deck work and equipment hauling which keeps things interesting but when permits are needed they're always ready for me before I'm rolling. Another thing that has impressed me is that I haven't had any dispute on my pay statements... not once. Super rare in this business for sure!
