I hired them back in 2017 and hired them again in 2021 because they were awesome. Their packing of our boxes and furniture was meticulous and careful! I have a sizable collection of fragile antique books and everything arrived intact. Furniture was skillfully moved and set where requested in our new despite our difficult staircase. The crew was friendly, polite, and a lot of fun to work with while also being very efficient! I cannot praise them enough and would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Very disappointed. Many problems that cause this poor review... chips, dings and scratches in furniture and floors due to careless workers. Broken glass that was promised to be repaired by the owner, now he won’t respond. Higher prices charged than what what originally quoted... oh and I almost forgot about the HUGE diesel spill in our driveway from the junker truck! Not a good experience with this company...

When we booked the move we were told that furniture would be reassembled. The driver told me when they finished unloading the truck that they don't normally do that. If we knew that we would have gone with a different company and definitely wouldn't have let them take apart as much furniture as they did. The truck was also not nearly big enough for all of our things. We will have to rent a uhaul to fit the things they couldn't bring.

I hate this company I would not recommend it to any because are nice silverware set and mirror lamp all got broken and never given to us also a 2 hour drive for us and they took 4 from Port Huron to Howell mi I will never recommend this company very dissatisfied also they will charge you less if you leave a good review all baloney

Definitely wouldn't recommend. They came 3 hours late. Charged me an hour and 45 minutes to drive from Port Huron to Croswell and back. $210.00 for 20 minutes work.

HORRIBLE!! Blue Water Moving Company from Port Huron were supposed to be at my 80 YEAR OLD MOTHER'S HOME at 9 this morning. They called at 8:30 n said they were running behind (we were scheduled at 9am). At noon, they still did not only not show up, but no call at all!!! We even called called them 3x, no return call. Matt and his team showed up on time as promised. When I booked this moving, I was told they would help put furniture together, etc and when I was Instructing on how to do it, he said and I quote “ you’re gonna have to take care of the construction boss”. If you’re gonna overbook , don’t make promises you can’t keep. Now I can work for another 5 hours to finish what was supposed to be a “professionals” job. Austin, his helper was stellar and professional. and Other than that, if you want all of your stuff thrown all over the place and all over your yard, these are your guys. Not recommended!!!!

Not careful with the items being moved. Does not take responsibility for breakage. His information says they are insured, but when making a claim, turns out he does not have insurance to cover items he damaged. Will never use again, nor refer. Very disappointed!!!

I would give them ZERO stars if I could. These people are by far the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with!! My father died on December 14th and with his home about to be foreclosed on and padlocked at any time I was left with the task of moving his stuff out of his house. On December 28th I spoke to Matt, the owner of the company, to get a quote and schedule a day and time for them to come out. We scheduled it for Friday 1/1/21 at 9am, but due to a chronic illness I have and not being able to get any help packing, I needed to reschedule it to Saturday. Matt told me that "Saturday would work and they'd be there between noon and 2pm." Long story short, they never showed up on Saturday because they had overbooked themselves and asked to reschedule it for Sunday. After having already waited around all day, I rearranged my schedule, said ok and agreed to meet them at the house between 9-9:30am. This morning (Sunday) they had another issue that made it so they didn't show up and when I called the owner, around 11:30, to find out what was going on, he told me he had given the crew the wrong address and they'd be there in about an hour. I asked if he would be willing to offer a discount since they hadn't shown up on Saturday and were already 3 hours late today and the owner flipped out and started yelling at me telling me that that this was all my fault since I had rescheduled it from Friday. He then went on to say he was not going to give me any discount and that if i wanted the job done I would pay full price and if i didn't like it I could go elsewhere. I responded by saying wow that's very unprofessional at which time he hung up on me A few minutes later he started texting me, harassing me and complaining that he had been sick for the past 3 days and was arranging all this from home. I told him I was very sorry that he was sick but that that should not be made to be MY problem as I am a paying customer, especially since he was not even with the crew that was coming to do the move and because he was the one who overbooked his crew so they did not show up on Saturday as scheduled. He then told me he was sending the crew home and good luck trying to find someone else! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS COMPANY!!! If this is how they treat someone who's father just died, imagine how you will be treated in your time of need. They are only $40 cheaper than other local companies, so save yourself the hassle and call some REAL professionals!!! UPDATE after this happened the owner began to harass me via text message and I had to cal the police to file a harassment complaint. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

Best Moving Company! We had 3 stops to pick up furniture to bring to the new house, one was a storage unit that was full to the top. Joe and Adrian didn't even blink, they just started moving cohesively with precision and didn't stop till it was empty. They were very careful unloading too, hooked up the washer & dryer, and set up furniture in record time! Plus, they showed us a couple things we didn't know about our new furniture set up that we would have been lost trying to do it ourselves. Joe & Adrian's experience showed in how they worked, they didn't milk the clock, they didn't take breaks, they worked Professionally with care, and put things were they belong. They truly had our best interest in mind, better than we could have ever expected. Combine all that with their competitive rate; it's better than the best of both worlds! They made our moving experience!!!

We had a somewhat rough start at the beginning of the move. It was beyond anyone’s control, a mover called in last minute and it pushed the start time back. Once they got started the 2 young men went pretty fast- which was great! I showed them to the storage unit where i left it up to them to finish. A few days later I went to storage unit and all of our belongings were carelessly put into the unit- I was bummed and annoyed. I called the owner. The owner was very quick to correct the problem and inconvenience! He went to the unit himself to re pack the entire unit! Wow! Even though there were bumps in the road it was resolved quickly and professionally! I would use them again. Thank you

Alicia, your experience was not with blue water moving company in Mohave Valley Arizona. We do not have anyone named Matt who is the owner. The owner is Steve and Rebecca Wagner out of Arizona. There are two blue water moving companies one of them is back east. None of this happened here in Arizona.... I'm sorry that you went through that trouble. Please do your research and realize that blue water moving in Arizona is different than the blue water moving on the other side of the United States

I moved 3 times in a matter of 1 year...during the most stressful and trying time in my life, Blue Water Movers were my saving grace!! They are (&always have been) a team of HARDWORKING, courteous and respectful, dependable professionals. I was able to schedule my moves promptly- despite the move itself being on a whim. Matt and his guys moved everything but the kitchen sink ;) up and down narrow basement stairs- I'm talking heavy awkward furniture sets, washer/dryer, king sized bed, ETC. and despite all of this, my furniture was NEVER compromised- NEVER a mark or scratch. The guys were so careful with my things, treating them like they were their own. Impressive how considerate they were of my home as well, BOTH the home I was leaving, and the home I was moving to and I think that's notable. While I realize after reading former reviews that I will receive a snide defensive remark after leaving this review, I also feel compelled to share my story. After booking this company, I felt good in the fact that I was able to find a local reasonably priced mover. What I did not realize was the devastation caused by this choice. First, the movers packed the ‘little stuff’ that I told them we could fit in the our cars/truck if it didn’t fit. This left behind some big stuff clearly labeled to be moved. Also, they disregarded my request not to take items on a shelf, which left us not knowing where important tools were. Further, they did not take components needed to assemble one of the beds. I guess this worked out since they flatly refused to assemble the beds even after I was told by the owner that they would. They finally offered to put one bed together after texting the owner, but our frustration was pushed too far and they were told to leave. I did not want to pay them any more. They weren’t even polite about their refusal, answering my husband with a ‘nope’. To add more to our frustration, I discovered that they disassembled my antique table completely. The boxes and bags were not even placed neatly, but were strewn about in the rooms. My husband is a disabled veteran and is unable to lift, bend, or move well. Now we have to assemble beds, a table, and a few chairs along with finishing up moving more furniture from the house. My daughter was in tears all night and we had to sleep on recliners. Saying that, one of the rooms was without light, but we would have had light if the movers could fit the lamps in the truck that were requested to be moved. If they thought they could not fit what I wanted on the truck, why would they not have told us??? We have 2 TVs, an entertainment unit, lamps, part of a bed, and a microwave left behind…being honest and upfront with what your workers can and cannot do would help your company greatly. Don’t book it if you can’t complete it. In response to your comment: no one was rude to your workers. If they said we were, they are lying. Further: I wish I had checked BBB before booking. A score of ‘F’ does not bode well. To your edited response: when did you offer compensation?? I still have receipts for the hardware you lost and we replaced. I also asked if you could send someone out to reassemble our table, you never responded. I have been disappointed with 3 businesses, yours is one of them. Unfortunately, when you expect a service and it is not completed, then you are treated like dirt, you get one star.

Blue Water Movers showed up first thing in the morning after driving all night long to our home which was 8 hours from their location. They were prompt and on time to start at 7am. Even after that long drive, they busted their tail feathers to get our entire house packed into the truck which only took them 2 hours! Even with my extremely heavy items, I had about 6 items between 300lbs and 600lbs on top of the rest of the household stuff. Yeah, a few things got damaged (we were able to fix them) but what do you expect after a move 8 hours away and packing up a whole entire house? Get insurance if that may worry you. They had excellent service with just 2 guys for my move. Then, they drove all day for 8 more hours back to my hometown. Unpacked all of my items into each room, in the exact location I told them. Very quality service and worked a whole entire day on no sleep. They asked for no payment until the job was done which reassured me they were legit. I thank you Blue Water Movers for the excellent move, you were extremely helpful and I'm grateful for your time, service, and strength! Simply amazing company to work with.

We ran into a few hiccups with Blue Water movers, their truck required some emergency maintenance on the day that we needed to move out of our home and they didn't have another one in state so we had to wait for one to arrive from out of state. But as we all know stuff happens, and when they did arrive the following day they were friendly and very time efficient. They got all of our big furniture and appliances out of our hold home and into our new in just a little over two hours. I hope I don't ever have to move again, but if I did I would look to book Blue Water Movers again. Thanks guys!

I have used Blue Water movers twice to four separate locations and I cannot believe the great job that they did. I've had other moving companies break and steal my belongings and it takes part of your history away from you. These guys handled my stuff like they were their own and I couldn't believe how careful they were with my belongings. I was at the hospital today getting a surgery done and this woman is about to move and I just told her that she has to hire Blue Water movers because of how great they are. They handle your things like they are their own nothing has ever been broken or stolen and I cannot say that about any other moving company that I've used. You know that owner cares about his employees because they use all the safety gear so his employees don't hurt themselves that says a lot about a company and about the man that you are working for. I strongly strongly agree that if you are about to move higher Blue Water Movers there are great at what they do and they will your protect your things that are dear to you and that you worked hard for Bravo Blue Water movers I will never use anyone else.
