À midi on me rappelle en me disant que ce sera 18:00. À 18:00 aucune nouvelle. Une entreprise qui prenne vraiment les gens pour de pures imbéciles.

Fortunately, I have planks but the driver warns me that I will have to sign a liability waiver. Since it was not my mistake, I refused at first. So I called Déménagements Laurentides and the first thing I was told is that I must call the dispatch center myself! I reply that it's not for me to do that. Finally, after several calls and a long loss of time (time that will be billed to me of course), the guy from Déménagements Laurentides told me that it was not his fault if the wrong truck was sent and that it was to me to assume the consequences! He does not understand the concept of responsibility towards a client ... At the end of the day, I'm stuck and have to take responsibility for the broken tractor. He will finally get to his destination without any problem, but this incident leaves me with a bitter taste. I wouldn't do business with them again. By the way, it seems that they were bought by La Capitale. (Original) Nous avons fait affaire avec eux pour un déménagement complet entre 2 maisons. Honnêtement, le déménagement ne s'est pas si mal passé, malgré quelques dommages mais rien de trop grave. Par contre, j'avais clairement spécifié par téléphone et par courriel que nous avions un tracteur de jardin à faire transporter. Lorsqu'il est venu le temps de le charger dans le camion, le conducteur me notifie que ce ne sera pas possible car la rampe est trop étroite. Il aurait fallu un autre modèle de camion. Heureusement, j'ai des madriers mais le chauffeur m'avertit que je devrai signer une décharge de responsabilité. Étant donné que ce n'était pas mon erreur, j'ai d'abord refusé. J'appelle donc Déménagements Laurentides et la première chose qu'on me dit, c'est que je dois moi-même appeler le centre de répartition! Je rétorque que ce n'est pas à moi de faire ça. Finalement, après plusieurs appels et une longue perte de temps (temps qui me sera facturé bien sûr), le gars de Déménagements Laurentides me dit que ce n'est pas de sa faute si le mauvais camion a été envoyé et que c'est à moi d'assumer les conséquences! Il ne comprend pas le concept de responsabilité vis-à-vis d'un client... En bout de ligne, je suis coincé et je dois assumer la responabilité de bris du tracteur. Il se rendra finalement à destination sans problème mais cet incident me laisse un goût amer. Je ne referais pas affaires avec eux. En passant, il semble qu'ils aient été rachetés par La Capitale.

They were messing up our boxes in the truck, and broke ancestral bowls that had belonged to my family for years, and that I had however taken the trouble to wrap in bubble wrap in a closed box, that is to say how they have treated our things. They also nearly dropped the entire truck into a small lake next to the house. Then the owner insisted that his guy fill out an invoice while the other two moved the stock, charging me for an estimated amount, which is ridiculous because we pay for 3 people who move, not for two. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Surprisingly, the guys wore the uniform of LA CAPITALE, and a truck of the Capitale. I will never do business again with Déménagement Laurentides, nor with the Capital. Never seen in my life a service so rotten, and I had to move a dozen times. (Original) Absolument horrible comme service, à éviter comme la peste. Ils sont arrivés deux heures en retard, sans jamais s'excuser ou appeler pour avertir. Ensuite, un des gars sentait l'alcool intensément, et c'était évidemment lui qui conduisait le camion. Même quand j'ai parlé au propriétaire pour me plaindre, il a dit que le gars avait fêté hier donc c'est correct qu'il sente l'alcool!!!!! Il garrochaient nos boites dans le camion, et ont brisé des bols ancestraux qui appartenaient à ma famille depuis des années, et que j'avais pourtant pris la peine d'envelopper dans du papier bulle dans une boite fermée, c'est dire comment ils ont traité nos choses. Ils ont aussi failli faire tomber le camion au complet dans une petit lac à côté de la maison. Ensuite, le propriétaire a insisté pour que son gars remplisse une facture pendant que les deux autres déménageaient le stock, en me facturant pour un montant estimé, ce qui est ridicule car on paie pour 3 personnes qui déménagent, pas pour deux. A ÉVITER COMME LA PESTE. Fait surprenant, les gars portaient l'uniforme de La CAPITALE, et un camion de la Capitale. Je ne ferai plus jamais affaire ni avec Déménagement Laurentides, ni avec la Capitale. Jamais vu de toute ma vie un service aussi pourri, et j'ai du déménager une dizaine de fois.
