We brought equipment back here that we had rented in Ontario. The people who there seem like they don’t feel like doing their job or want to be helpful. I kept calling before we got there because I had some questions but no one ever picked up. Once we got there, we parked our truck and we had to run after the guy responsible because he wouldn’t even acknowledge us. Then we went inside to pay and the cashier lady wasn’t there. It took me over 3 hours just to claim the trailer that i already reserved online. There was only 7 people in front of me and your staff is not to blame. They worked as quickly as possible and were very polite but your center only had one person at the main desk and this person not only had to take care of the contract but also had to go locate and attach any vehicle or trailer rented. This is ridiculous for your employees, it creates a bad climate between staff and customers. Hire more people, clearly the demand is there and uhaul is not a small company. If I could give zero stars I would. 1) They made us wait for 1.5hrs (only three customers ahead) even though we reserved, called to confirm and arrived on time. 2) The staff told us the parking was just across. Only for another staff to tell us they do not have parking at all(?) 3) The staff giving us the truck did not care to give us any rules. Luckily I've used Uhaul trucks before so I knew what to handle. 4) When we brought the truck back they told us it was $130. Until we showed them we were estimated at $77 so why is it $60 extra? Rendu sur place, on vous dit finalement qu'on n’a rien de réservé à votre nom (malgré que vous avez un numéro de confirmation) et il reste uniquement une suite avec 2 chambres (au lieu de 3) au 1er étage et vous devez prendre les escaliers. Malheureusement, c'est une situation extrêmement similaire que j'ai vécue avec U-HAUL! Lors d'un appel téléphonique à U-HAUL, j'avais réservé en même temps un camion à une succursale et un entreposage à votre succursale. Je suis arrivé quelques minutes avant la fermeture avec mon camion rempli pour le décharger à cette succursale et on m'a dit qu'on ne trouvait pas de réservation à mon nom. On n'a même pas tenté de rechercher avec le numéro de confirmation si ma réservation existait bien. On m'a indiqué qu'il ne restait aucune unité au RDC comme j'avais réservé et qu'il restait uniquement des unités plus petites au 1er étage (sans monte-charge) et plus cher! Par ailleurs, j'avais uniquement quelques minutes pour décider si je prenais cette unité ou non, car la succursale fermait. Je devais me décider immédiatement, je n'avais pas d'autres alternatives. Je me sentais pris en souricière. J'ai immédiatement téléphoné au service à la clientèle pendant que j'étais à la succursale et ils ont pu confirmer que ma réservation existait bien et qu'ils auraient été de la responsabilité de la succursale de me contacter d'avance s'ils ne pouvaient pas honorer ma réservation. La communication est importante en affaires et à mon avis U-HAUL a échoué. Bref, ce n'est pas une situation acceptable et je trouve cela inconcevable qu'une entreprise puisse émettre des confirmations de réservation avec des numéros et simplement répondre à ma plainte par courriel comme quoi "Les entrepôts peuvent être réservé, mais la grandeur ne peut pas être garanti" comme si cela était normale. Je vais faire part de la situation à l'office de la protection du consommateur et y déposer une plainte officielle, car selon moi, aucun autre client devrait avoir à subir cette situation et cette pratique (qui vous semble normale) devrait être interdite. Rented from here like 5 times so far, and so far, not had a smallest problem with their trucks or equipment. So why 4 * then, right? It actually applies to the few clients they have, that think they own the trucks and return them late or simply on another day, and not caring that maybe that truck was rented to someone else and is waiting to pick it up. They (uhaul) needs to man-up and be more “aggresif” towards those dissident clients. Thougher penalities and better screening and refuse them rent to those clients afterwars, is just an idea.

Very nice lady at the counter, she was very clear and helpful. But from the moment i stepped outside, the male employee who brought me the van was very cold, you could tell he hates his job. He was aggressively taking the snow off the van with a hack. I had to film it to protect myself because i was scared he was going to dent it. This is unbelievable, we show up to pick up a trailer at 9:30AM as per the appointment, the lady tells us we have the trailer until 2:15PM and freezes a charge of 23$ on the credit card, when we come back to drop it off, the other clerk tells us Uhaul only rents in 4h blocks so we were charged 46$ because we should have brought it back at 12:30PM and were never told so, when we complained, they simply shrugged and didn't care. Of the 20 minutes we spent there sorting this out, we've heard 4 OTHER disgruntled customers, U-Haul is a pathetic excuse for a business.

Worst customer service there is. I arrived, there was so much stuff on the floor I couldn't get to the desk. I managed to step over all the boxes while the 2 employees were avoiding me. Waited 5min before the manager came to see me. No explanation at all, she was mad before I even speak to her. There was a new employee, the manager and the other employee let him work alone while there was 3 customer waiting. The poor new guys didn't know where all the things were, he was running everywhere. It ended up that me and the customers helped the poor guy because his collegue wouldn't. They were talking and having fun onside. I agreed to let the trailer overnight without additionnal charge. When I left the trailer there was a uhaul employee who I had to beg for help because I couldn't take the trailer off by myself (isn't it his job to help customer!?!?!) Je made me feel like I was disturbing him the whole time and also pressuring me to leave. 2 days later I receive the bill by email, I got charged for 2 suplement days. Impossible to talk to someone inside, they put you on old instantly, you have to talk to the central uhaul call center, which takes minimum of 20minutes on hold. Horrible services and horrible mentality there. I would never go there again, I would never recommend Uhaul ever to anyone. This is the worst customer experience I have had.

(Ps: there’s no where to sit, you have to wait outside) Unfortunately, on my way home I met the evening peak and it took me a hour to arrive home. Overall bad service and staff does not seems to care for customers. After I spent 30 min in line , hooked the trailer I was informed that they do not have the propper adapter. Had to spend another 30 min to cancel everything unless I accept to go across the street to buy the equipment that they should provide.

It is the worst place to do business. Ordered a hitch and paid for it online. They called and scheduled an appointment. When I arrived for the appointment they made me wait an hour and a half just to tell me they did not have the hitch in stock. They would not give a refund and made me wait another week. When I called back to confirm the hitch arrived, they were so rude and ignorant. I would never recommend this business.

very poor service. I have scheduled a towing hitch installation, paid over the phone. When I got there they told me they don't have a hitch available ... it was reserved for another guy. WTF ? I have bought a boat based on their promise and they left me with the boat in the middle of the road. I asked to be called by the manager and never have been called. Ever since they haven't answered my phone calls (i left my phone number there and they have caller id),. I called 30 times in that day. VERY POOR SERVICE !

Online we confirmed the truck for early in the morning as we expected a big day of moving. We got to U Haul only to find that the location is closed and there's no way to get the truck we reserved at the time we reserved it for. Why let us reserve it that early if there's no way of even getting it?? One of the phone numbers given doesnt work, and the other just keeps repeating the same options and doesn't patch you through to an operator. So frustrating considering how much work moving day already is; let alone having this hassle too!

Worst purchase experience I ever had. Had an appointment for 2 weeks. Before I go I call them to make sure everything is all right. They tell me everything is fine in a way I feel sorry for wasting their time. So I show up there and they tell me they have no technician for the whole week in a way I was a dumb for showing up. Nothing good to expect from them so just got my business away and try to forget them.
