However with my biggest move, three trucks, we had to trust the team which unfortunately did not deserve that trust. I was stolen for the equivalent of an Econoline. Among the stolen items we find frames of families that I had expressly told to be careful of, including a wedding photo from 1929 where my mother was five years old and another one from my mother's engagement; some of my commercial cookware for the equivalent of $ 500, all of my crucibles worth $ 1000, turtle skin lampshades (3) worth $ 250 each for a total of 750 $, sewing equipment for about $ 350, clothes that packed fragile items worth $ 1800, antiques including a fake stained glass window I had made on the door of an antique china cabinet that now doesn't has more door (loss of $ 2,500), and so on. If you don't have spies and a whole team to watch the men, you're going to pass one off and as you know. It can take from a year to two years to realize the extent of the theft since in a big move it takes about one to two years to unpack and reinstall everything. We search and we seek, we wait until the last box and the toll grows worse week by week. To rest easy, I do not recommend the company since after having contacted them to report on my situation, the boss never returned my call. (Original) Un gros Zéro et voici pourquoi. J’ai utilisé ABS transport deux fois. La première fois ayant été parfaitement acceptable. Cependant à mon plus gros déménagement, trois camions, il fallait faire confiance à l’équipe qui malheureusement ne le méritait pas cette confiance. On m’a volée pour l’équivalent d’un Éconoline. Dans les items volés on retrouve des cadres de familles que j’avais expressément dit de faire attention et dont une photo de mariage de 1929 et où ma mère avait cinq ans et une autre celle des fiançailles de ma mère; une partie de ma batterie de cuisine commerciale pour l’équivalent de 500 $, tous mes creusets soit une valeur de 1000 $ , des abat-jours en peau de tortue (3) d’une valeur de 250 $ chaque pour un total de 750 $, de l’équipement de couture pour environ 350 $ , des vêtements qui emballaient des objets fragiles pour une valeur de 1800 $, des antiques dont un faux vitrail que j’avais fait sur la porte d’un vaisselier antique qui maintenant n’a plus de porte (perte de 2500 $), et j’en passe. Si vous n’avez pas des espions et toute une équipe pour surveiller les hommes, vous allez vous en faire passer une et comme vous savez. Cela peut prendre d’une année à deux années pour réaliser l’ampleur du vol puisque dans un gros déménagement cela prend environ de une à deux années pour tout déballer et réinstaller. On cherche et on cherche, on attend jusqu’à la dernière boite et le bilan s’alourdit de semaine en semaine. Pour dormir tranquille, je ne recommande pas la compagnie puisqu'après les avoirs contactés pour faire état de ma situation, le patron n'a jamais retourné mon appel.

Le réfrigérateur était bossé à l'avant et arrivé à la nouvelle maison, il ne fonctionnait plus. Les déménageurs ont oublié deux gros meubles au sous-sol. Ils ont dit à la compagnie que j'avais fait le tour avec eux, ce qui est faux. Il m'a dit: Le sous-sol est vide, j'ai pris sa parole. Ils sont venus chercher les deux meubles deux jours plus tard et nous ont chargé une heure supplémentaire !!! J'essayais d'attraper un de mes chats pour l'isoler dans une pièce. J'avais demandé à un déménageur de me dire quand il enlèverait le lit car j'aurais fermé la porte pour l'attraper, ce qu'il n'a pas fait. Résultat: Mon chat s'est sauvé dehors et maintenant trois semaines plus tard, je ne l'ai toujours pas récupéré, il est traumatisé. C'est la deuxième et dernière fois que je ferai affaire avec ABS.

I reserved ABS Transport's services months ahead of time and put a 200$ deposit down for a July 1st move. Two hours before the scheduled time they called me and told me they wouldn't be able to make it. They left me completely stranded with no alternatives except for a mere "sorry" on a day where there are no movers, trucks or trailers available anywhere in the city unless you booked months ahead. This is no way to manage a moving company. Do not trust. Stay away.
