Not impressed with the driver/truck at this company. He pulled out onto the Yellowhead Highway without stopping, billowing black smoke from the truck and then proceeded to tailgate a car that wasn't going fast enough for him before speeding through a construction zone (loose chips), spitting up debris all over the other cars on the road.

We required the help to move an air hockey table from our basement to its new home at InnerCity High School. We didn’t hire Funk’s Moving, the arrangement was made by a staff member at the school. The 3 person crew were wonderful. They arrived earlier than expected, which was fine by me. They were upbeat and very pleasant and not put off by the awkward and cumbersome task. They protected the flooring and walls as best they could. (But I knew I’d have to do a few touch up even if they weren’t as careful due to minor injuries from our previous attempt at moving the table.) I can say I would hire using this company without hesitation should I require their services in the future. They are fan-flippin-tastic!

Funk's Moving is fantastic! I have used them twice now for complicated moves-2 different locations. Ken is awesome to deal with. He understands the stress and pressure of moving and was able to assure everything would be ok. He was right! Joseph, Michael and Mitch arrived on time, went through my floorplan indicating where the furniture was to be placed and ensured it was set where my green tape on the wall indicated it was to be. They were experienced, professional, courteous, respectful and patient( I am in a Senior's Residence). If anyone is trying to find the 'perfect' moving company to trust, Funk's Moving is the ONE!

Such a great experience having Funks Moving move me to my new location. Matt and Joseph are such great people friendly professional super helpful with my move. From the moment I called to book an appointment which by the way I waited to the last moment they made sure they worked on my timeline. No complaining that I waited too late and so on. They showed up on time didn't waist time but were super friendly. Moving from a condo there's a door elevator monitor to make sure to record any damage or misuse of elevator. She was so impressed with the quality of work their respect for others and how helpful they were. I would hire Funks again in a moment however my hope is I'm not moving for many years to come. My elderly aunt moved from an assisted living apartment to a nursing home and I needed someone to move her furniture and personal belongings into temporary storage. Although I was her guardian for years, the management at her former senior's apartment would not allow me to come in to remove personal items because they 'vehemently' enforced Covid restrictions. I understand and believe in all the safety measures, but this unreasonable attitude made the move very challenging. I contacted Ken on a referral and knew after a few minutes on the phone that this was the guy I needed to help me out of the dilemma. With only phoned instructions, which they followed exactly... two days later all my aunt's belongings were neatly packed and delivered to my storage unit. The guys were right on time, very pleasant and efficient, including a drop of a couple of items at the nursing home along the way, before the final unload at the storage facility. I don't believe in gushing testimonials, but somehow I really feel they deserve one for this move. Thanks Ken and your crew for a fantastic job. Gary F.
