Great staff, very helpful. Box prices are astronomical. Go to uhaul for your boxes, jays charges an arm and a leg unfortunately. Other than that 100% would go back to them again, they are very professional

I have used Jay’s Moving and Storage many times locally and once from Yorkton to Edmonton. The office staff is wonderful to deal with and the movers are polite and hard working. A delicate piece of furniture was damaged on the last move, but I have been more than happy with Jay’s efforts to rectify matters. They are a class act moving company!

We had contacted Jay Transportation in Swift Current to pack and move out items to Regina. Asked that the items remain in storage until another place was secured for us to move into. When the packer arrived they smelted like cannabis and were very slow moving. They took a break which I was OK with however they came back in after the break there was a very strong odor of cannabis from both packers. I put a call into Jays on May 20th to inquire about having our stuff delivered on the 1st. I left a message and did not receive a call back for 5 days. Upon receiving a call back we were booked to have our items delivered for the 1st. Received a call a couple days later saying they had over booked and would not be able to deliver to the 5th of the month. Upon delivering we discovered items damaged and missing. Proceeded to file a claim and received nothing but grief from the person I talked to. They claim items were delivered and we would not be compensated for them. Still trying to get some resolution .... We will not be calling this company or it affiliates to move us in the future!!!

We recently used Jay's for a local move, which included a few days storage of the items, and were very pleased. The quote was accurate, and crew showed up on time and were very pleasant to deal with. They took care with the items, and used caution not to cause any house damage during the move. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jay's for a move.

Jays moving truck was on our road this morning, right in front of my window! They kept the engine running for over an hour while I couldn’t find any personnel in or around the truck. Waited for someone to show up on my front porch, when they finally did after 20 mins, I asked them politely to turn of the LOUD & DISTURBING engine(diesel). The guy said he was not the driver so kind of just told me to not bother him(he was at least polite). I called Regina police and they said a diesel truck cannot be left running for more than 15 mins in residential area, if it’s gasoline than its okay. Tried to call their front desk and spoke to a ‘Sheena’ who said she has only been working there for 3 weeks(I’m not sure why I care) but I was only asking her to find out info and the fact they’re doing something against the law, she didn’t want to help and neither had anyone who could, practically told me that it was a waste calling them! Way to run a business and make money on expense of other residents, ‘Jay’s’! Called Regina police again and they said they would make a call and send an officer to tell them they were agains law, but by the time they left. Leaving this review here so that in future you know police will help you when someone is breaking the law and being a jerk about it.

DWIGHT PUNSHON , the worst ever sales person i have seen in my 15 years of the sales career. Jay's transport should check integrity of their employees and how theu treat customer. If you tell them that you are not responsive they will tell you move ahead with other company. Thanks Jay's Transport for hiring such a impatient rude and irresponsible sales guys.

I hired Jays REGINA to move from Regina to Ontario with one drop in Alliston and second in Ottawa. The dates set wereJuly6-16. Crew was late moving day; took 6 hours to load truck. As date of move approached I was not getting clear answers from Jays for departure. Paperwork was changed to July7-17 without my knowledge. I was also not told that they work with Atlas to complete the move so I was relying on them for information. Responded well after departure date about when they left. As the 16th approached no one could tell me where the truck was. This went on for days. I escalated to management who was not informed about this problem. Truck was finally tracked down, delivered 3 days late to Alliston. It still had a drop in Ottawa to complete. At this point the truck’s whereabouts wasn’t made clear to me. I had to call Atlas Canada to now find out when the delivery to Ottawa would be made. This also had to be escalated to the VIP of dispatch to locate the truck. My delivery was finally made on July 30th… 13 days late total. Jays had the nerve to call me the night before asking for full payment. Atlas dealt with them. $100 per day deducted for late delivery. Poor communication, not transparent. A terrible experience.

Friendly and accommodating. Jay's moving service was great. They were clear with their processes and there weren't too many surprises when it came to the move- which is always appreciated. The only challenge was that we asked for several quotes, which Terry was great about, but in the end- our actual move was overshot by quite a bit of weight- though they did their best to help double check and rescale to find the most accurate cost. Not really anyone's fault- it was a tough system to estimate weight. They will do their best to make things work for you. Calls may be delayed by a day or so, but I never felt worried about our stuff, and that's probably the best thing you can ask for.

Poor communication. Was overcharged. Had to ask for a proper bill. Got tossed from Jay's to Atlas . Everyone I dealt with was not telling me the same thing.Moving in day the time was not communicated . Disorganized . Card was charged before I got my stuff which I thought was unfair. Overall wouldn't use them again.

Used them to move to Ontario from Regina. They had to hire out which cost me way more then expected. (Would only recommend if youre staying in province.) Would have been good to know I wasnt using this company for the whole move. I know more for next time to hire an actually company that doesnt hire out to do their job. Hope everything makes it and in one piece. ???? not happy. The movers where super nice at least.

Jays moving was great, I hired them for a local move in Regina. Amanda came out to my old house and spent some time doing the estimate. I got a reminder call a few days before the move. The movers arrived on time, they were very friendly guys and worked hard. They loaded up the trailer and my stuff was put into storage for a few days. Then the unloading day came at the new house. Different guys this time, but also very friendly and professional. Nothing was damaged or missing. The estimate was exactly what was charged. I would highly recommend.

I had a very bad experience with Jay's. I moved from regina SK to Oakville ON.my stuff came with one missing leg of the dining table. I stayed waiting for a week they kept telling me we have it don't worry until after calling on daily basis they said that its lost. My dining table useless now and they even didn't give me the option to pay me back! I don't recommend anyone to work with them.

The 3 person crew was just excellent! They arrived on time and finished unloading at our new house ahead of schedule. They were extremely cautious and detail oriented, leaving not a single mark on any items, walls or anything. They were very friendly and especially patient as we were deciding where certain things would go in our new home. The Sales Rep we dealt with at the beginning was tremendous as well. She came to the house (mask and sanitizer equipped) and sized up the load and number of boxes we needed. The price came in below her quote, which was very good to begin with. The move literally was flawless I would recommend this company to anybody! Thank You Jays Team!!!

Absolutely disgusted with this company. They shipped our possessions without our knowledge or permission just before Christmas after we requested heated storage (for a reason). This action allowed our possessions to be exposed to the extreme freezing temperatures, for a prolonged amount of time, without even having a civic address to ship them to. They could not tell us where our goods were after repeated requests and then claimed they were being stored in a secure location in Halifax. We found out later that they were being stored in a trailer at the drivers home location (nowhere near Halifax), after being toured all over eastern Canada. Our belongings should still be in their heated storage facility as per the original agreement and then shipped at our request. This company cannot be trusted with your possessions and they clearly do not look after them as if they were their own.(A claim they make in their paperwork). They do not stand by their quotes and have many hidden charges. This situation still needs to be resolved and all they seem to be doing is thinking up new charges rather than striving to come to a sensible solution.

My furniture was in storage. Jay's team met me on time and were really quick at clearing out the unit. When we arrived at my house, a contractor's equipment was blocking their path to my door. I was ticked, but they took it in stride that they had to go around it with each load. They soon had everything placed (in a room without renos) and were on their way. Would use them again.

I can't say enough about how professional and helpful Jay's was for our move. They arrived on time, gave us the Red Carpet Treatment (they actually put down Red Carpets in the house!) and when we called to add a second pick up location they didn't bat an eye! They took a very stressful time and made it that much easier by taking care of all of the details and heavy lifting! I will definitely be recommending them to anyone and will be calling them next time we move!

I used Jays for moving out of my condo, for storage for a few months, and then to move into my new home in August. The entire process was so easy. Amanda from Jays came out to my condo and told me exactly how many boxes that I would need. She was so helpful with every inquiry I had along the way. Both sets of movers I encountered were professional and courteous. They did everything from taking furniture apart, wrapping fragile items, and putting everything back together in my new home! I’ve experienced moving without the help of a company and I can tell you that the service provided by Jays is 100% worth it. Hopefully we are in our home for the long haul but if we ever need moving services again Jays will be our first phone call.

1. Jays movers arrived on time at the agreed upon time 2. The movers were friendly,courteous and efficient. 3 Rugs were laid down to prevent any damage or dirt to soil rugs and flooring. 4 All chairs tables,furniture beds,etc ,were delivered safely to a new address with no damage to walls and door jams in either the old or new residence. 5 All fragile items were carefully wrapped and placed in protective covers. Even the mattresses were wrapped in plastic. 6 All items were safely delivered to the new address. 7.The movers took time to set up the bed,dresser and mirror and to collect all the packing material and remove it from the new residence. 8 jays did an excellent job and I was very happy with this moving company and the men whom they employed.
