They arrived early, when the owner heard I was leaving an abusive man they cleared my bill and moved me for free, they took care with all items and put together my furniture... will recommend to friends and others and use them again. Amazing service and a great set of guys. I had a move request needed same week and they managed to squeeze me in their busy schedule and move my times with no issue. These guys are amazing! They showed up last minute to help out when another moving company decided to no show with no explanation (red deer storage and movers). It was more stuff than they were told and way more floors than they were told but they never complained once!! They were so friendly and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

My hubby and I want to thank John for moving us on a short notice. We had book Red Deer Storage and Movers for 7am on Sept 1st. At 7:15am we called and texted the owner several times and it went to voicemail. Left messages and at 9:37 am he texted some jibberish we couldn’t understand. Then at 9:45am he texted my hubby again that his truck was down and he has one man. I had called several moving companies but all we’re booked with the exception of Jolo Movers. The owner John had a tight schedule but he was able to fit us in later in the afternoon. His other guys had other jobs moving doing so John said he can still do the move but he’s gonna need our help. Seriously, John is a “workhorse” when we were tired he kept working. We made 2 trips because his bigger truck was in use. John is a very honest person in his dealing with us and completed what he agreed to do to the very end. The way he packed the truck was so organized and nothing got broken nor damaged. Thank you again John for rescuing us on such short notice. Certainly, I would use and RECOMMEND his professional service again.

Would highly recommend this moving company! They have a fair price, a huge truck that could move everything in one load, and booked us with only a couple days notice. I wouldn’t recommend this company. This was my third move using movers and they took more than twice as long as the others. I had booked them for a move starting at 7:30am because I needed all my things out of my old house before noon per the Lease. At 10:00 the truck wasn’t even full for the first of two loads and my anxiety was through the roof. I ended up hauling almost all the stuff out of the basement myself because we were running out of time. When we finally got to the new house it was almost 11:00 and there was still another load to bring over. There was a hiccup with the cleaners not being done at the new place (which added greatly to my stress) and I asked them to put everything in the basement and went back to the old house to remove the rest of my things to the driveway for fear of breaking my lease and being charged for overholding. Well they sure did put everything in the basement. Boxes were piled up haphazardly with heavy books on top of fragile things. There were bed parts everywhere. Total disaster. When they finally came back for the second load, my landlord had arrived to do the move out inspection and actually helped them load the truck! Back to the new house, the new landlord showed me damages to the walls and stairs caused by the movers. I was so upset. Then John hits me with his bill. $676!!!! The last time I moved the cost was $320 and I gave them $400 as a tip. I was totally shocked. By the time they left, it was almost 2:00. He actually had the nerve to say to me that he thought I was in a bad mood first thing this morning and commented how much he had to do that day. They left me high and dry to haul my furniture upstairs by myself, didn’t put any of the beds in the right rooms or furniture where it belonged. He took apart things that didn’t need to be taken apart and wrapped furniture that has been moved a half a dozen times and never needed to be wrapped before. Plastic drawers don’t need to have 8 wraps of tape around them for example. The posters I have in frames don’t need blankets wrapped around them. Just a time suck. Loading took way way too long and then unloading was way way too fast to compensate. Now I’m totally broke having budgeted for similar to the past two moves I’ve had which took 3-3.5 hours (one of which was led by a man in his late 60s!!). Save your money and book with someone else. Edit: the ONLY things I have “added” since my previous move is a bunk bed which was fully disassembled and a bicycle. A 3-4 hour move was accomplished previously not once, but twice. I shouldn’t have had to be there to direct professional movers to put the furniture from the master bedroom into the master bedroom and not to pile boxes in this crazy manner. At least the bags could’ve been all together. They literally threw boxes into the storage room where they’re all tipped over and broken open. I spent most of the morning clearing a path to the bedding so I could prepare my kids’ beds.

These boys are awesome! Moved a 500lbs safe to my basement without even hesitating the tricky stairs I got. very friendly, professional and very motivated to do the job! I wouldn't recommend anyone else but these guys

No standing around with this company. They never stopped from out of old place into new. No standing around to push the amount of hours. Asking questions all the time to make sure what they should take, and then again where to place things in the new place. Very friendly and professional. They even helped carry out stuff that was to other places.. 100% recommend them . Reliable, and very cost effective.

I will recommend Jolo movers. They were very professional and on time. Wrapped all my fragile items like mirrors and glass tables. Also they helped me put together my bed which was very kind of them. My family and I moved into a new place today. After searching a few ads on google I ended up using JOLO movers. The owner was prompt, professional , and actually did the job relatively quick considering how much stuff we had. I would recommend this company for sure for anyone looking for a good moving company. They had good equipment, straps, dollies, etc etc. Hope this review helps a really good guy out. Not sure what his little helpers name was, but also a nice young kid.

We called JOLO movers to help us move all of our large and heavy items into a Storage Bin that we had dropped off in our driveway. John and his team showed up on the day and time we had scheduled and after showing him what we needed done, they went straight to work and had everything we needed moved out and into the storage bin in just 2 hours! A week later we arranged to have JOLO Movers come and move the contents of the bin into our new home, again, the showed up on time as we had arranged and were done in just 2 hours, placing all the items in the house where we wanted them. These guys are great. They came to move a huge pool table from my basement. 6 by 9 slate table very very heavy. They helped take the table apart and treated it like is was their own brand new table. They took proper steps to make sure nothing was damaged and also made sure no one was injured lifting the heavy slabs. Use these guys if you want to make sure everything arrives in one piece and your home is not damaged. Great guys!

The moving team arrived on time and ready to start hauling our items. They were professional handling our belongings with care and fully wrapping furniture and fragile items.
