This guy was terrible. I gave him some furniture to auction, and asked him to call me and tell me what it was worth. I had already turned down $1200 for it. He never called me and auctioned it off for $100!! I would never use him again.

I honestly would not do business with these people as I have and I was completely ripped off I bought an autograph small shadow box frame of Muhammad Ali which is like a 12 x 12 I paid for the item and they said they would ship it a month went by and I have not yet received the package so I decided to call them I was told that the shipping lady was not in and she would get back to me so I wait another little while call again same reply and then again with the same reply till I finally got ahold of the shipping lady and asked to wear my product was she told me she's been trying to charge my credit card for weeks now to pay for the shipping but it just kept declining which I know there's money in my account so I call BS on that and also couldn't figure out why I didn't pay shipping at the same time as paying for my product like every other auction does so as we're on the phone she says I'm going to run your card so I can pay for the shipping I say okay go ahead I don't know why you didn't just do that when I paid for the product she couldn't give me a straight answer so then it goes through she said all is well and I said wait how much was it cuz you never let me know she tells me it's 90 something dollars at this point I'm super confused and ask her why is it so much she tells me it's $30 minimum for a box and also she has to charge me for keeping it there so long which I was trying to get ahold of her forever and if you would have to just took my payment for shipping at the same time as my product we wouldn't have an issue so I get a little upset and tell her I ship items all the time that are a lot bigger for not even a quarter of that price and that's when she says was $30 minimum box charge but at the end of the phone call she decides to say she would debit me back $20 I still feel ripped off because I had paid $70 for shipping which was the same price as the product so finally the product arrives she has it in a recycled TV box I'm paying $30 her to pick out of someone's garbage and at the end of the day I never even received the 20 she said she would get back to me they have some good products not going to lie but unless you're picking them up do not get shipping you will get ripped off

The electronic auction works well. The staff is friendly and helpful. They can take up to 30 days to pay, which is longer than the industry average, and the reason I have given a 4 star rating.

This multi-generational family run business is a pleasure to deal with. Their organizing skills, professionalism and friendly service are evident from the online catalogue listings to pickup. Ruslands is a transparent and impeccably honest run auction; the registration process is a contract to pay a winning bid and contact the business for alternate pickup should that be necessary. I would call Ruslands before Ghostbusters any day!

Not impressed with the practices of this company. Rusland's were hired to move some furniture and other items. They requested a credit card for security payment just like a hotel which I understood. They showed up and did what they were hired to do but broke a window in the process. With no invoice or mention of the cost involved they billed my credit card with no authorization. I only found out about the charge to my credit card by seeing it on my monthly statement. I found the charges quite high and if they had mentioned that it was going to be $115.00 a hour I would have shopped around. I feel taken advantage of. They should have explained their charges and billing practices before they came.

Unprofessional company. After not agreeing to wait 2 weeks for payment for a >$5k item they told me they were canceling the sale. A month later the owner randomly charged my bank account for $800 and stated that I still owed him the remaining $4200. I went along and paid the $4200 over the next 3 wk period. After payment, the owner refused to ship the item to me for over 2 weeks so I had to file a dispute with my CC company. Makes me wonder if he ever had the painting in his possession in the first place. Avoid this company!! Update: I filed for CC claim in the exact amount of time that I was given before Rusland auction filed their claim with HiBid - 2 weeks. Seems that this company cannot take what they dish out. Additionally, the owner has cussed me out and hung up on me multiple times when I’ve inquired about refunding money. This guy is extremely unprofessional, avoid at all costs
