Good crew, but read the fine print for insurance claims before signing on with them. My 58” Samsung Plasma HDTV was crushed by them. My award for damage was $326.00 minus their $200.00 deductible. So I get $126.00 to replace my TV. It took them more than 37 days to come to that conclusion. Additionally, numerous boxes were crushed. 4 stars for the hard working crew. 1 star for after sale service. 1 star for storage. Thanks goes out to the crew only. I never received my compensation from them despite numerous attempts to be paid. Avoid this company like the plague.

All Ways Moving helped my husband and I move from our small condo in Ottawa to our new home in Prince Edward County. Sean and his team showed up 15 minutes before his scheduled time, found a safe place to park in busy downtown Ottawa, and performed the entire removal of all our boxes, furniture, lamps... safely and swiftly. They were very careful with all our heavy boxes and furniture that not a single item was broken or damaged when we unpacked in the County. Moving is such a headache but our move with Sean and his team was easy. He even gave us tips to unpack our bedroom and kitchen first so that when we run out of steam at least we have a bed and our cooking supplies at the ready. Thanks for a great move Sean! We'll be recommending you to our friends.

Hi Sean Just a note to say hello, now that we've settled into our new home and to say thank you to all the Team at All Ways Moving. As you know, I was really apprehensive about our move from Brampton to Toledo on Jan 28. However, despite the time of year, the distance involved, and the large amount of household goods being moved, it went really well and at a reasonable price. Communication was excellent, which was really reassuring, and Cheryl and Ivy in admin were helpful, friendly and efficient right from the first contact, Sean, you were great, even showing up to check on the progress and take some of the excess heavy items on our move-out day. As to our crew, Luc, Patrick and Tim, we can't say enough about how hardworking, efficient, polite and friendly they were. Despite a large and varied amount of household goods and furniture, they got the job done in record time and with no damage or loss- We enjoyed meeting them and appreciated the care they took with our furniture and belongings. My dad bought a set of winter tires from Sean Heffernan on Kijiji. This business was listed as the pick-up spot for the tires. From what I understand, Sean works at or owns the business, listed the business as a meet-up spot and conducted the whole business transaction on business property. It was advertised that they came from a 2010 Buick Lucerne. It was also advertised as Goodyear tires, but only one set of 2 were Goodyear. Sean insisted that the tires were from a relative, but I suspect that they were leftover from a moving or storage job and wanted to make some quick cash. If he were an honest business man, he would give my dad his money back for misleading him. Who would spend $375 on two pairs of different tires had they known? In contrast to the ad, they were 2 different sets of tires. 1 set from 2006, other from 2010. Two different models. When asked to determine the bolt pattern, he was clueless but assured my dad that they were from a Buick and would fit. They were not. The bolt pattern was 5x108mm , not 5x115 which was needed. It most likely is from a Ford or Dodge. Sean doubled-down insisting they were from a Buick belonging to his father in law, and refused to take them back. His last words were "I'm just about done here. THEY ARE MOST CERTAINLY OFF A BUICK. Maybe next time you should do your research better. Bottom line...they're yours. Goodbye." My father was conned out of $375. I'm very disappointed to hear of this coming home from work. I don't reccomend doing business with this company in the future. We learned our lesson, so thank you Sean Heffernan for teaching me to beware of Kijiji predators out to con people out of their money for terrible products.

A big thank you to Sean and Cheryl as well as Matt and Pat for making the move into our first home a success. From picking up our furniture and keeping it in their storage facility for a little over a year, to all of the help and information from Cheryl at the office, to the excellent handling of our furniture and friendly demeanor of the crew when we moved into our new home, our experience with All Ways Moving was outstanding. We will definitely be giving them a call in the future, and recommending them to all of our friends!

Office administrator is good. The general workers were great to work with. Estimated size wasn’t done properly and I almost had to pay for another truck. Moving: I specifically pointed out antiques, and they were treated with care at my end. Although they had forgotten there was a piano involved, again, even though I had specifically mentioned it several times, and they had agreed to it. I even put it on a list in Word that I sent to them.Then they came unexpectedly a day early to unload. My partner had to close the store early so he could be at the house because I was still seven hours away! They dumped boxes everywhere. Kitchen stuff (heavy) upstairs, etc. Stuff piled on top of the valuable antiques ???? Payment: My credit card had been put on hold because of unusual activity, which I told them, and instead of being patient, they demanded everything paid up front. I had even offered to pay by E transfer. This was insulting. Then two days after unloading, I got an email in the am demanding a gratuity and they’re not going to give me my invoice until I give them a gratuity. And another email that same afternoon saying they hadn’t heard from me about gratuity. I was shocked. A gratuity is a choice, and should not be given until everything is at least unpacked. And demanding one made me decide not to get one. However, I did put this out on a local group on Facebook for input in case I was overreacting. And no.

Moved from the boonies to Brockville. This move could not have gone better. Biggest problem was getting the keys for the new house so the movers had to wait. But they made good use of the time and unpacked a bunch of outdoor stuff. 2 thumbs up.

This is a long review as it involves two separate moves (2015 and 2017) not just our last one a week or so ago. Background: before my medical discharge with PTSD last June I was a first responder for 29 years. As a result of my past career I have been moved all over the province many times and it was always Wills Transfer (Smiths Falls) who I trusted with our stuff. When I returned to them in 2015 to move us to Ottawa they were into other long haul commercial endeavors but referred me to Always Moving and Delivery for our domestic move. Given what I did for a living I was very skeptical of hiring a new moving company but trusted Wills referral. The Always Moving owner, Sean, came by the house for a quote and was professional, attentive and set me at ease right away..... but there are still the guys who actually do the bull work to worry about and unfortunately I am one of those people that if there isn't anything to worry about then I worry about that. Although Sean runs a small business in a small town he is professional and has a big heart, being active in his community by sponsoring worthwhile charities - the guy gives back too. On moving day 2015 a last minute problem did occur but Sean was easy to find, speak too by phone, fast to respond and he went out of his way to help us to my impressed satisfaction. The guys doing the bull work were terrific; respectful, courteous and careful with our stuff - I had nothing to worry about after all. I particularly chose Always Moving as our home purchasing strategy involves selling our home and storing our stuff putting us in a position for a cash offer on a home elsewhere. Always Moving was able to accommodate us there as well. We had access to our property if we really had to get at something and I was satisfied their storage facility was secure. That move was completed without any problems at all with all of our property arriving safely and intact. The guys doing the lifting obviously made an effort to ensure our new home was kept tidy as they moved our stuff in by using carpet rolls, moving blankets and enough men to ensure the big items were placed where we wanted them without scraping up walls and that sort of thing. Our most recent move in October 2017 was from Ottawa to a more remote rural location closer to Gananoque, Ontario. I chose Always Moving again, not just because their quote was very competitive but because they had demonstrated to me they were a reliable company. Of course the storage aspect of their service was a big part of my choice to return to Always Moving despite many Ottawa movers that were much closer. That decision paid off in a big way I was soon to find. After selling our Ottawa home very quickly in October our new rural property offer to purchase fell through (listing realtor involved had failed to mention asbestos) and we now had no where to live and 14 days to get out of our Ottawa home which left me pretty desperate. Always Moving came to our rescue by holding our property when that wasn't part of our original plan; they were very flexible and accommodating again. Eventually we did find a place north of Kingston thanks to our realtor which is where the Always Moving guys brought our stuff. Given my moving expenses had unexpectedly gone up due to storage I think the heavy lifting guys tried even harder to get us in here quickly and not take a whole day to do it. In fact I think they had us in here in 2 hours or less. Again everything showed up intact and in the way it was packed up in Ottawa including a huge freighter canoe which I was sure would be at least dented - not a scratch on it (thank you!). If we are to move again (gosh I hope not any time soon) Sean please don't bother with a quote as you've proven to me that you are the man for the job, your fees are fair and your men are professional. The "boss" on the move damaged a family heirloom kitchen table and chairs. Took a chunk out of one of the chairs. Carried the wooden chairs out by the rungs. The rung came out and damaged the leg, there were scratches on the table and other scratches on other chairs. Trying to work with Ivy in the office for repair since August. I do not want money, I want them fixed. If Mark is on the crew, ask for someone else. If you need to pay by HOP, use another company/

if you are senior or have health restrictions, don't use this one --- what sean said and what happened were two different things .... 4 old worn out collapsed garment bags with our clothes (supposed to be 4 - 6) left 2 van loads of stuff at the old address for us to clean up the next day ... (sean said we were to have 2 trucks) when driver made bill out, it did not include a discount that sean had allowed but the driver said he was unaware of; then driver said only one copy of the bill (but not to worry office would call and give us the figures) 9 days later I called them to find out they had processed the visa invoice without our consent and with different figures (is this legal or what). the biggest thing was all the work we had to do and WE ARE SENIORS.

Now they've responded even denying they did the move all together on here. It they'd like I'll upload a copy of the quote and final bill. In response to their edited reply, you were well aware of the issue when it happened. Saying its been over a year is a poor excuse when the problem was well known by your company as it happened. All that tells me is you only care if someone posts publicly because you didn't seem to care before. "there is obviously more to the story" oh I'd love to hear your side of things. I've downplayed other issues with my move. You also moved the people into the house I was moving out of and did the same thing to them. Yeah you don't move motorcycles, but you do move the two 6x12 trailers worth of containers I moved myself the day before. Hired them for a move from smith's falls to Carleton Place, came and did a detailed quote based on what needed to be moved and everything seemed fine. But in the day of the move they sent a truck that was too small and required me to go out and rent a Uhaul truck which caused numerous delays. They didn't pack the first truck fully or properly, ended up taking many hours mote than it should have and was quoted for on tip of the additional truck rental I had to get myself. It should be noted I downsized significantly between the quote and love date, originally they were to move multiple motorcycles that I ended up selling along with two trailer loads that I moved myself the week prior. Move cost well above the quote (more than 50%) no invoufing the addition truck. I understand they're a small business, but this was a very bad experience.

I have had 3 experiences with All Ways Moving. The last two were so bad, I took the time and actually downloaded and signed up for a Google account to leave this review. (1) In my move in 2019 I moved the contents of a 1 bedroom apartment from Perth to Montague township. No issues, it was a 5-star experience. (2) In 2021 my parents began downsizing and bought a smaller place near Kemptville. In advance of the move I contacted All Ways movers to move a single piece of furniture from Perth to North Montague. For the single piece they quoted me the same price as my entire move with them less than 18 months earlier - 1.2K. (3) Sadly, I recommended the mover to my parents for their move. My father suffers with Lewy Body Dementia and my mother at the time had just had a full shoulder replacement so a move of any sort was challenging based on age, mental health and physical ailments but we rallied around to make it happen for them … on the day before the move the Office administrator called mid afternoon to confirm the move. By noon, when we were in a diner for lunch we received a second call saying that the owner was injured and they had to cancel the move. We had no option, the move had to happen and we were blessed to get Lloyd Enterprises out of Ottawa (who had miraculously had a cancellation). All Ways left us … elderly and ill clients … in the lurch. What actually happens we’ll never know but READER: DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. We learned the lesson the hard way. I’m happy to detail more of this experience to anyone interested (Additionally, I researched to see if the business was part of the local BA or CC and they are not … so clearly, beyond terrible service and complete lack of professionalism they’re not really a part of our community.).

1st time for a review, all ways moving has gone above and beyond there call to duty, arrived at the time agreed upon placed floor runners down, dismantled and wrap all furniture as promised, took extra care of our things both packing truck and unloading in to our new home not a single mishap, the crew mark,matt and pat acted very professional and I would recommend this particular to crew to any one who asks. The girls in the office can’t be left out, promptly Returns any phone calls and they have all the answers. I would highly recommend all ways to any one who was looking to move. I just moved two days ago and was very stressed . When these guys showed up they took over and I stood back and watched. They were excellent wrapped all my furniture it was all removed professionally and delivered to my new place professionally. There was one stressful moment didn’t think my sectional was going to make it in my new place but they got it in for me. Would highly recommend this company and believe me I don’t give good reviews unless it is earned and believe me they earned it!! Thank guys hopefully it’s a long time till I move again but If the time ever comes I will be calling you!

We bought a three piece sofa set from their used furniture side business. We were concerned that the largest piece would not make it up to our stairwell, but Lisa assured us she would confirm with Sean. After providing them photos and measurements, they stated they were certain it would fit, so we agreed to purchase the 3 piece set (in addition to paying $100 for delivery...) Their movers were very nice, but struggled with the largest sofa. After some effort, the movers called Lisa who instructed them to keep trying. They then damaged our wall and ceiling trying their best to follow Lisa's instructions. Eventually, Lisa accepted the sofa would not make it up the stairs and verbally agreed to partially refunding us for the largest sofa piece. Since then we have had only a few dismissive emails from them, and now have been completely ignored regarding the damage in the hall way and the refund for the sofa. It has been almost a month of nothing but silence. I am still waiting on money for the damage repairs as well as the refund. Would not recommend based on this experience and they don't seem to treat their staff well.

We started in Chilliwack with Rob and his team who worked tirelessly and professionally to pack up our home! We were then met in Nova Scotia again by Rob, Trevor and Owen who unpacked and set up our new home. Everything arrived safe and sound and was put right back together. They were professional, reliant, polite and a pleasure to work with. Thank you for making this hard journey that much more enjoyable.
