Our moving experience with Gentlemen Movers was nothing short of exceptional. Our moving dates changed a couple of times and Wayne was extremely accommodating and supportive. The move itself went off without a glitch and the movers were very respectful of our belongings and went out of their ways to help us any way they could. Yes they were four gentleman. Well, one of them couldn’t carry more than 10 lbs at a time. We hired off the reviews because all seemed good. A move that should have taken 8-10 hrs turned into a 2 day event. They bill on time not the job. Worst part of it all was I have a bad back. I hired these guys so I wouldn’t have to help much. If I wasn’t there it would have been 2 1/2 a 3 days. We have since heard a friend used these guys and ran into the same problem. I am a business owner. I value my Google reviews. I have some not so great ones and that’s real. We complained to the owner after the dust settled. Got absolutely nowhere. Really all I was trying to get was acknowledgement that they weren’t prepared and in the end it cost me extra stress and extra money. Thumbs down Gentlemen.

We were very, very pleased with the services of the Gentlemen Movers. They showed up early, did a fantastic job getting everything moved, no damage, and no major mess afterwards. As it turns out, our elevator was not available, and they still traipsed all of our stuff upstairs to our new location. Their prices were very reasonable for the value they provided, and they were very pleasant to deal with. Would absolutely use them again, and wouldn't hesitate to refer them.

What a great service, from booking my move to getting everything loaded and unloaded. Great communication from start to finish. Job well done. On time for loading and I'm pretty sure they didnt stop for 4 hrs and got to the unload location long before I expected them to arrive. Sure am please I hired Wayne and his team do get my move done. Wayne and his crew were amazing. We were unable to get our couch into our townhouse it was too big for the opening at the top of the stairs. They came recommended by our realtor and they proved worthy of his recommendation. They were very helpful and solved our problem and went the extra mile to figure out a way to get the couch in. thanks guys!!

This was a long distant move that required a 1 day delay before delivery. Had an expensive china cabinet moved from Mission BC to our home in Kelowna. Gentlemen Movers were doing a big move from Vancouver Island to the Okanagan and had some room to spare on their truck which worked out great. The owner/operator Wayne was great at communicating with me the morning of the move and then dropped it off in Kelowna right on time. No scratches/no problems : ) Thanks guys!

These guys were top notch from beginning to end. They called days prior to the move to confirm details. They showed slightly before expected and didn't stop working until the end of the move. I was amazed at how the 3 men just kept on going at such a quick and fluid pace whether it was upstairs or level ground. The second they walked into our house they layed blankets on the floor and carpet paths to rooms. I was a bit flustered as moving is stressful but they made that part as easy as it could have been. They were also extremely polite and kind which just made the experience even better. To top it off the cost of the move was less than the estimate they gave us. We had a move in town. I had also hired them to pack us up. They were fast and efficient with their time; however, they were so fast that they marked up my piano, a leather couch and our bedroom furniture from their moving straps. A few things were broken inside boxes and when we reported this they just shrugged and said Sorry that happened. Whatever.

I HIGHLY recommend them, especially considering I've seen nearly every moving company available around, and have also hired them myself. When I was an onsite property manager for a large apartment, Gentlemen's Movers were the ONLY moving company to request a key for the elevator, used appropriate door stoppers, left no damage to any of the walls or doors, were pleasant to other tenants, didn't smell like cigarettes, were clean and appropriately dressed, and most importantly (for a landlord) didn't overload the elevator rendering it inoperable. I have used them twice personally to move, and all my items were just as they were when they picked them up. They're wonderful.
