We moved on our own and had one piece of furniture...a large solid hardwood armoire. It was extremely heavy and awkward to move. We decided to call Gabriel and his team to help us. It was a last minute thing and we were on a deadline to return our rental truck. Gabriel had a full schedule but upon hearing what we were up against, he offered to extend his hours to help us out. MUSKOKA MOVERS helped me moved 2 giant fridges on June 27 Sunday, Shawn and Ben did an incredible job and completed this “mission impossible” work. I am very satisfied. Because I am going to renovate my kitchen on June 28 so I need to move the ground floor fridge to basement, and disposal the old basement fridge. They are both 36inch fridge. contacted one of the local moving companies who has a high review and reputation, but after the movers came, they spend almost 2 hours, eventually they said sorry they cannot do it since the fridge is too big. This happened on 26th Saturday and left me a very awkward situation since I only had 1 day left looking for another helper. Luckily I found MUSKOKA MOVERS and contacted Gabriel, communication is smooth and Gabriel provide a reasonable quote and promised he will send 2 guys on tomorrow eta 2-3pm. Shawn and Ben showed up at 2:05 pm! Without hesitation they started to work. Quick measurement, cover the floor with mats, took the fridge door out, wrap fridge, … You can tell if they are professional or not in the first few minutes, and I am very confident to tell myself I found the right crew. The fridges are huge and my basement stairway is not wide, I knew this is a tough work, but Shawn and Ben always answer my concerns with a smile face “no worries, we will have this done for sure”… I feel so good and relaxed… Just like what they said, after a few hours of hard work the fridges are at the right place! Maybe all of the movers can do the regular movement, but not all of them are able to do the heavy duty appliances. MUSKOKA MOVERS CAN !!! I am highly recommend MUSKOKA MOVERS to anyone.

I almost never post reviews but these guys were so terrible. Not only were they bad at their job they threatened me twice. Stay away! Especially if you’re a lady and don’t want to feel as unsafe as I did. They were suppose to pick up an ubox from uhaul and drop it off at my storage locker at 9am. They didn’t show and ignored my phone calls and texts. After waiting for 2 hours, I thought they weren’t coming and wrote a bad review. Then Gabriel immediately called me and said they have my ubox. He threatened me to take down the bad review right away or they would not bring my ubox. I was scared and took down the review. I even called my friends to come meet Gabriel with me as I was afraid to be alone with him. When Gabriel arrived (3 hours late), he offered to load my ubox for free for being late, but they did such a poor job loading the ubox, just jamming my furniture in. I would have done a better job myself. Before Gabriel was done loading the ubox, he made me transfer payment to him. I said I would be more comfortable paying him once the job was done. He wouldn’t have it and said I have to pay him then and there. Being a 115lb female facing this 7 foot tall man, I had no choice. I was threatened twice in a single day so I transferred him the money before the job was done. I was unhappy they were so incredibly late (3 hours late is not just bad traffic but poor planning in the first place), but what’s worse is never in my life had I been threatened like that, especially from a service I was hiring to help me. They may threaten me again for leaving this review but I want to warn others, especially other ladies. Stay away!

Efficient Service, Reasonable Rates and Friendly People I was provided an excellent service and their rates are very reasonable. Gabriel gave a free consultation visit before hand to provide an estimate. On the move day the movers arrived on time and they provided an extra person for the same charge. Even though we had boxed most of the stuff already, the come with enough blankets, floor covers and moving supplies to ensure everything was transported safely. There was one decoration item that got broken after being tipped over by one of the movers but Gabriel offered to compensate for it, so all was good. All of the team was dedicated and friendly. The extra person ensured that our move was completed before the estimated time and that was amazing since I was being charged per hour. Overall highly recommended and I would surely use them again if required.

Would never attempt to use this company again for a move. Found them through Moving Help on U-Haul. Called them 8 days before the move, they requested to send a text to the number confirming addresses, which I did right away. Got a reply of thank you, then when I asked a follow up question, no response. They were supposed to contact me before the move, never heard from them. Called and emailed them the day before the move, nothing. Called them the morning of the move, nothing. Then I finally hear from them and they provided excuse after excuse as to why I didn't hear from them before. They then say because I never said a time (which they didn't ask for and could've done so if they reached out to me before), they were already booked and nothing could be done till 7. By the time I told them I was cancelling, they tried to do everything to get me to reconsider, but I'd rather put my money elsewhere. Stay FAR away.

We used Muskoka Movers to move a small fitness club. The move was very difficult with many very heavy pieces. Alfred, Peter,Allen and Gabriel work very well as a team, and they worked quickly. It was a pleasure working with these men, they were polite, prompt and professional. They paid special attention to make sure that nothing got damaged. I will use this company again and would recommend then to anyone. If they can move a fitness club, moving the contents of a house is easy work for them.

We moved from Mississauga to London, Ontario. Moving long distance can be quite stressful but Gabriel and his team were amazing and they made the move very easy on us. They were right on time and worked quickly even though there was a terrible ice storm that day! Communication was excellent. Gabriel answered any questions I had in a very timely manner and always kept me updated during the actual move. I really couldn't ask for more. Used this company for one move, and the communication was flawed from the start. Since Gabriel had taken our deposit we were committed to sticking with them. They showed up quite late to pick up the items, and seemed quite confused on how to protect the items from being damaged while they moved it. We had to babysit them while they loaded the truck to make sure that they strapped and padded things correctly. The delivery went alright, but leading up to it was nothing short of frustrating. We had a few other moves planned with them but thankfully we were able to arrange another company to do the project. We will not be using these guys again.

EXCELLENT SERVICE! They ensured that everything was delivered safely and mindfully with my move from Mississauga to Ancaster. On arrival, floor runners were put to avoid any damages, TV and furniture were all wrapped and packaged with care and boxes were loaded onto the truck. On drop-off, floor runners were put again, TV and furniture were unwrapped and items were put back into the desired room. I've tried many moving companies (i.e. Provincial Movers, True Maple Moving, Two men and a truck etc.) and nothing beats Muskoka Movers! We engaged Muskoka Movers to move our furniture into storage, and it also included removing 4 large, heavy cast iron radiators, the heaviest of which is probably 800 lbs. They got everything done in about 2 hours, and Gabriel himself led the team when it came time to move the heaviest rads! Reasonably priced as well, out of all the quotes I got his was one of the lowest, it was almost half of what a competitor quoted me (because of their 4 hour minimum). Looking forward to working with Gabriel and the Muskoka Movers team again!

I have moved numerous times and this is really the first time I have come across a moving company that actually cared about its customer's moves. They were super communicative, professional, courteous and diligent. Gabriel is an amazing entrepreneur and takes pride in his work. I hired his company for help loading a 26 ft truck with goods from a 3 bedroom house. He knew I would have a long drive ahead of me (GTA to FL) and made sure his crew were doing things the right way, and at several times, asked them to be more thorough with their packing/wrapping of furniture. One of his team members took apart my treadmill incorrectly while Gabriel was getting more tape. I would never have known but when Gabriel saw this on returning, he made spent an extra hour putting it back together and then taking it apart the right way. He also honoured his initial quote, despite the process taking longer than he anticipated. Moreover, he called me while I was driving to FL to ask how I was doing and to make sure everything was ok. This is going totally above and beyond and is exemplary customer service! Everything Gabriel and his crew loaded got transported with zero damage and securely (none of the items moved an inch). If you want the job done right and at a fair price, you can't go wrong with Muskoka Movers. Very highly recommended!

Muskoka Movers was recommended to me by PODS as their preferred vendor because I needed help packing and loading the storage container for my out of town move. Gabe responded to me right away and came out to my place to make sure he understood exactly what needed to be done and took detailed instructions on special items. This time of year is busy for moving companies but on less than a weeks notice he organized a team to pack load the storage container and also bring furniture from London to Burlington. Because it’s a large team they were also able dispatch a separate team to move furniture that I was gifting to a family member out of town. This was the smoothest hassle free move I’ve ever had. I didn’t even need to be home, and felt very comfortable everything would be taken care of because of the care Gabe took in planning with me in advance. Gabe also reviewed the quotes with me since there were so many moving parts, literally! He assured me there would be no hidden fees or surprises.
