Moving is supposedly one of the most stressful activities in life. I am happy to say that GetMovers did a great job and reduced that stress. They took a lot of care with fragile items and were attentive to special requests. They moved us in one day, and properly packed our storage area, so we didn’t have to pay for a second one. The price was very affordable and everything was in perfect condition.

The 3 movers who came out were efficient, professional and knew their job. They took the time to set up the beds in each room and ensured they placed boxes and items in the appropriate places. ZERO PROFESSIONALISM. I’m terribly disappointed in the quality of service from Get Movers, in fact, they weren’t responsible enough to show up to the appointment to provide the service at all! I arranged the moving date weeks in advance, only to get them canceling on me the day of. And beware, if they do not show up, it’s all the likely that their customer service will not be helpful either (most of the time they ignore my calls, supervisor hung up on me). At one point, they will stop picking up your calls when you are just want to rebook for another day. I honestly never had such a bad experience with the moving company and highly recommended using another moving company. Get movers are irresponsible, unprofessional, and utterly disappointing.

I supervise a local gallery and take all responsibilities concerning the unique items. When the government offered us a better room close to the center, we met hardship delivering all heavy items and pictures. GetMovers guaranteed the full insurance coverage in case of any damages or scratches, so we decided to risk. The team knew what to do, all helpers were very careful with the boxes. Luckily, no insurance was needed, all parcels are in the good condition.

Great service from Get Movers throughout. We moved out of our apartment in April and planned to have our items in their storage unit for a month. Now we were moving all the belonings to the new place. We got very accurate estimate both times. We were done with the move by 3 pm. Not a thing damaged or broken! Amazing moving experience! All the furniture got fully wrapped in blankets, they also used plastic wrap. I am very happy of how everything worked out. I still have to unpack, but from the big items nothing was broken or scratched. You get what you paid for and it was totally worth it.

Worst moving company I have ever seen. Absolutely terrible work ethic, very rude staff and management. Staff seems hostile, and somewhat racist and sexist, based on their treatment towards us. Only use if you want to basically waste your time and money.

Yesterday I had a move with them. I live in a remote location, not easily found. The crew manager called to say they were on their way. The crew that movers us was masked up and efficient. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Frankly speaking, I don't understand why there are so many good reviews here. I'm the type of person who plans things way in advance, and had called Get Movers weeks in advance to help me move. The day came, and no one showed up. Hours passed, and I tried calling several times, but each time they just redirected me to a different number. It was such a frustrating experience and I couldn't believe just how unprofessional these people were.

I was amazed at how fast they cleared my house. They packed and protected TVs, furniture, appliances and artworks and everything made it to the house in one piece. GetMovers is “Proud to stand out from the other moving companies”, as was so proudly announce on their website, by being the most unprofessional moving company I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve relocated several times across Canada and this is my first and last time using GetMovers. After arranging a date and time to move 3 weeks in advance and confirming the night before, they cancelled the arrangement at the very last minute. I tried calling many times and my direct contact was not picking up any of my calls. When I was finally able to get a hold of somebody from the company, the person would put the blame to someone else regarding the cancellation and nobody was taking any responsibility or making an effort to make this arrangement work out. They kept asking me to call their contracted workers directly. If so, what is the point of even hiring them to manage my move? I’m about to start work in a week and I have to re-figure out how to move my belongings because this company will not take responsibility for cancelling at the last minute. Would never use or recommend GetMovers. Make sure to hire someone else.

My experience was great, The staff arrived at 10:30 AM and immediately packed the entire apartment and began the move. By 2:30PM The entire move in my apartment was already done.
