Called Thursday April 1 to book a move for April 12 and there was an opening at the time i called. Gentleman gave me the price per hour and said someone will call me back to for additional details. Called back on Saturday as no one returned my call. Was told that someone would call me back on Monday. A lady called me on Monday and said they had an opening for April 12 and would call me back the next day to do the virtual estimate. Tuesday she calls me to do the estimate and tells me that April 12th is no longer available. Why wasn't it already booked for me as i agreed to the hourly rate over the phone with the gentleman on my first phone call? Not impressed with the service from the start so that's enough red flags for me. The only STAT holiday was the Friday and they are off Sunday, however, even so... it was available on the Monday but not when she called to do the virtual estimate the next day.

The crew showed up on both my moves as did 2 in one week. Both times they were on schedule and very organized . They worked non stop and talked nice to each other. They did my first move in 1 hour and 30 minutes and aprox same time for the 2nd move. I recommend this company for your next move. They are abit pricey but you get what you pay for so worth every penny.

We’ve never seen three men (The Steve Crew) work harder or longer for an extremely satisfactory move experience. For twelve hours straight with sheer grit, brute strength and unbelievable challenges they moved our oversized furniture pieces to a place half the size. At times throughout the day I had to look away and simply pray for their safety as they managed the impossible up and down stairwells and corners. The Steve Crew proved extremely competent and professional and are highly recommended by us, two very satisfied customers!

AMJ Campbell Toronto came highly recommended but in fact were very poor. Our experience started off right, the owner came to our property on time, represented himself as a professional, was polite and performed an assessment of the articles to be moved. Unfortunately thats were the good experience ended. For context this was my fourteenth international move so I have many moving experiences I can call upon, but I can honestly put my hand in my heart and say this was the worst move I have ever had. AMJ’s assessment was incorrect and we had to pay an additional $1,000+ to ship our personnel belongings. We received no justification or acceptance of the error on the firms part, but simply told to pay up. The paperwork was transmitted via email but was regularly resent because they “didn’t receive it”. There was very little coordination with the overseas receiving firm who were engaged to deliver and unpack our belongings. We simply had to intervene and contact them directly to make the arrangements and submit the necessary paperwork for customs etc. Upon delivery a number of boxes were missing, to date there has been no communication from the firm as to the boxes whereabouts. I do accept that articles do occasionally get damaged and or broken during moves, unfortunately this does happen, but it can be minimized with due care and proper packaging. On this occasion the packing was not up to par with my other moves and we have paid the price. Many boxes were considerably overpacked and belongings were stuffed into boxes with little to no regard. Very little thought as to what articles went into what box i.e. kitchen stools with dress shirts, a mop bucket with a crystal wine decanter and garden planters / pots with bedding. Unfortunately numerous fragile and or insured articles were not packaged with due care and were received damaged and or broken. Nuts and bolts from disassembled furniture are no where to be found so furniture was not able to be assembled upon delivery. I’m really sorry but I don’t have many positives to share, as such I would strongly recommend not using AMJ Campbell for any move large or small.

AMJ broke our $2000 tv in the move which was packed in original manufacturers packaging (including Styrofoam inserts), and will not provide any compensation. Tv worked before the move, and now it does not. AMJ said because the box doesn't look damaged they won't compensate. My heart is broken, oh wait, because my body doesn't looked damaged I guess my heart isn't broken. Complete nonsense with this company. I would advise anyone using AMJ to bring your own valuables with you. *UPDATE* AMJ responded to my review saying that my concern will be taken seriously and that they would resolve my concern. It’s been 3 weeks and still haven’t heard anything from them. Guess it’s not that serious…. **UPDATE #2** AMJ finally responded after 3 weeks (with help from a nudge update on my review), and they maintained their stance believing that I broke the TV, not them, as the box didn't appear to be damaged. In conclusion, do not use AMJ to move your valuables. You will likely not get reimbursed when they break in the move, and they will act as if you were the one that broke it. Mind blowing that a company this size would act this way.

When you go to Tim hortons 8.30am and block cars in just because your just to lazy to park where all the other big trucks park that just shows how much respect you have for people and how lazy you are then when people tell you not to take a big truck like that and park it by the front doors dont just ignore them and walk away like a idiot and still go inside and get a coffe this people have no respect for people but again it's just like most moving companies

I recommend AMJ Campbell (Vipond Mississauga) workout hesitation. I used them 6 years ago to move from Caledon East to Oakville without a hitch. I used them this past Saturday to move just a few items to some family-friendly members at multiple locations. Everything was perfect and even under quote. The guys were super respectful (Don's crew) and Roger were very easy to deal with at the office as was Kevin. We plan to use them for the rest of the house move this summer. Update: Goran and his crew (Zoran, Vlafim and Justin were great with our big move which entailed a full gym (2 weight stacks of pairs of dumbbells up to 100lbs) from one basement to another in addition to the entire household. They worried extremely hard from beginning to end and through it all remained polite and even cheery. I was the one dragging my feet at the end of the day, exhausted, and they, incredibly, hadehad in their step!

We have always used AMJ for moving, they are the best. The difference is they wrap every piece of furniture in a packing blanket, it takes longer but your furniture is never damaged. The whole process related to our move went without any problems and the actions of all the staff that we were involved with was excellent. This started with our initial discussions with Sean with our first meeting and the preparation of the quote for our move. The dealings with the office staff in getting information and picking up the extra boxes was always so pleasant. The actual move was so wonderful as the crew showed up right on time and put down their floor protection throughout the entire home. Work then commenced with the loading of the truck with the loading of the truck by the three employees. This crew was well organized and worked tirelessly until all boxes and furniture was loaded in the truck. Then with the unloading of the truck in a very efficient and careful manner. We were very impressed how this crew carried out the move and how pleasant it was to have carried it out without any problems.We have had occasion to move several times in our life time but this was our best move ever.We were very thankful for all the staff at AMJCampbell who had a part in making this move so pleasant. Sean and Don and their crew made this move much less stressful on us. They were extremely careful in removing all of our household goods and packing them safety into the 2 trucks, making certain not to mark up walls or the furniture. We booked this company and met with our moving coordinator who went over everything with use kept us informed and sent us a crew of 3 great young strong men who moved us they wrapped everything and loaded it quickly and then drove to our new home unwrapped everything and placed it were we wanted it quickly and efficiently these 3 men are the most professional workers we have met and will recommend this company to anyone thinking of moving they did everything to make a stressful day go off without a hitch and kept us happy

WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE with this company. We hired AMJ Campbell for our recent move from Oakville and it has been an absolute nightmare! The sort of things you always worry about when moving. The quote was inaccurate, the movers were unprofessional and the management proved to have no real interest in taking ownership for the items of ours that were damaged and the inconvenience of the mistakes made by their company in this move. The company sent one mover less than we were quoted (3 people instead of 4) making our move go longer than expected resulting in our belongings needing to be stored at their yard overnight. This meant our family had to sleep on the floor as our beds were locked up. Not a good situation with 3 kids five and under. The movers also showed up late both days and were caught lying about being slowed down by a traffic accident. They also informed us they stopped for breakfast on their way from their Oakville parking lot to our Oakville house. The movers wore shoes in our new house where they had not laid runners (on our freshly steam cleaned carpets) and were also caught lying to us about items they damaged and then said “oh right, ya that was damaged”. Management was empathetic on the phone but their compensation for the inconvenience and unprofessionalism showed they are not interested in making us feel heard or appreciated. Our 65 inch tv was damaged in the move and although we were told in the quote that as long as we moved it in it’s original box it would be covered by the insurance they are not covering it. I can’t help but feel this big business does not care if they leave one or two people feeling like they have been mistreated. I would recommend using a smaller company that cares more about customer experience.

I thought it could have taken less time, but the movers were great but I believe they work according to the quote. The quote was done prior to moving and I moved 3 car loads, 2 van loads and 2 SUV loads the day before the move which reduced the amount.of objects required to move. Regardless, I am happy to have had a moving company to move my stuff but it is a little pricy.
