Many thanks to this company for their excellent service and professional handling of our move! These folks were very accommodating to our needs to say the least. When you have back to back closings things can be difficult. They handled everything beautifully. They did what they said they were going to do and they arrived on time as well. Would not hesitate to recommend this company for your moving needs!

Metropolitan Movers Edmonton were very polite and professional. I was a bit stern in the beginning because they were tardy in their arrival. Mover Ionut was very very candid with my expressed disappointment. Ionut is whom I spoke the most with about my moving concerns, and he was so nice to speak with, and there was no way for me to stay upset. :) Ifran was also very pleasant to speak with, and worked very hard under Ionut's instruction. i moved my furnitures with them from Alberta to Ontario between Dec 2015 - Feb 2016 , yes you read it correctly. Almost 2 months to get all my stuff because they failed estimate how big their truck should be , while they actually came to my house and saw all my stuff. that actually would have been ok if they didn't play dirty afterward. i got my stuff on 2 patches, the first one was a complete disaster! they mentioned -in their website and to me- the furnetures will be covered with sheets in the truck and all electronics -live a smart TV- will be covered too . but when i got the first patch, MUD was all over my couch and love seats i have, TV carton was ripped off because some smart person decide to pick it up with force. and the other part was soaked with some water from snow melted inside the truck !!!! All that would be OK when i was thinking i was the only one, but when i got the second patch and i started check every single item i got while they unloading , i saw couple of items don't belong to me!! i kept telling them about this and that, i mention that to them about 6-7 times!! ****6-7 items**** most of them furniture or part of a furniture, on the other hand i told them i'm missing couple of my stuff - i was lucky to do a list of all my items- they said what i was afraid of , they said: we may unloaded somewhere else !!! not it's March , almost 2 month and half after i saw them, and they didn't even gave me a call back or return my calls to get my missing stuff. ************** what breaks me , i got a call from some other customer asking me if i have a black night stand it may got mixed with my stuff and they gave him my number so he can call me to check!!!!!!!!! gave him some people numbers !!! how professional !! i wish i have decided to sell my stuff and bought new things rather dealing with some unprofessional people who claim to be good at what they're doing! i'm 1000% sure they are NOT.

I phoned about my coach and they told me in writing and over the phone that it was no problem to move. When they arrived the driver said no we are not moving it. So I had to trash a $2000 power recliner because the place had to be cleaned for the next day. Told me they don't move small boxes, too much work. Had me and my parents moving boxes for them. Also when I phoned I was told the price included the truck, I asked 3 times if there was an extra fee and they said no. They charged me an extra $125 (Roughly) for it. I would have sent them away except I needed the apartment emptied. Then on the way they told me they didn't charge their phone and had to follow me (fine). Then he calls me and says he wants to stop to eat. I said I wasn't paying for the time they stopped. He promised more than 3 times that I wouldn't be charged more than 3 hours. Then he took a different route in the city, got lost for 25mins and charged me for that and his stop for food! Then he had the audacity to ask me for a tip!!! I've moved in four provinces, by far this was the worse experience! DO NOT USE THEM. The manager didn't respond to my calls or emails.

We have heard and used so many Movers before with a bad experience, but when we used Metropolitan Movers Edmonton Moving Company, it was an unforgettable experience. They are very unique and professional in move. Their service is the best and their customer service was great. Highly recommended.

Absolutely horrible!!! Hired the company for on November 26/15 for a short distance move. From an apartment to a condo complex. The movers needed to be told to load the elevator with items rather than take one item at a time to the truck. They were unbelievably slow, and not professional. What should have taken 2-3 hours took almost 6. They were moving so slow, that two of us (one tiny female) were moving things to the end of the hallway to the elevator. And the "professional" movers could not keep up. We also had very expensive paintings that were put in between cardboard to keep them safe. When the movers were taking them to the truck, they put two together and they were rubbing. Luckily enough only the backs of the paintings were damaged and ripped. They finally loaded the truck, and had the new address. However, they got lost for over 30 minutes. I got into my vehicle and finally tracked them down. They then moved the items slowly into the new place. When finally finished, they told me to tip them in cash. And then rounded up to the nearest hour when putting the bill together. Very upsetting experience and I'll never be using these movers or recommending them to anyone.

Do not use this company it is a total scam. They charged me $1548.00 for 12 hours to move a one bedroom apartment. Email said uniformed men they were in street clothes. In the middle of the move they took one man away and there was a 30 minute delay they said they would not charge for but they did and they took several 30 mins breaks and a 1 hour break. They carried items instead of using dollies. You have to have someone to watch them load the elevator if not they take there time loading. I had to check on them several times when it was taking 30 minutes to 1 hour to load the elevator.

I am impressed by their work. These guys really work hard and they know how to move heavy items. These movers were great. No wasting time, keep on working for hours without stopping. I give these guys two thumps up!

WORST MOVING COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!!!! Not only did they come over 2 hours late for the move, and no communication unless i called them.. but they didn't have a big enough truck to move in 1 load....I had to help move my stuff to get them done... 8 1/2 hours which should have taken about 5-6 hours as everything was organized and packed and ready for them. To top it all off the movers broke a 55" 4K TV (1 YEAR OLD) to which when I confronted the "Moving Manger" he denied, and blamed the other mover, instead of trying to resolve the problem immediately.... and then I am asked to submit a online claim from the customer service rep, which I did, now as of 7 business days no one will get back to me with when they are going to replace it. So if you get a quote as they clowns are cheaper than most, there is a reason for that.....I suggest deleting the quote and paying the extra to get a REAL moving company that will actually be professional and communicate if they are going to be late and if they do break something be responsible for breaking it, and be responsive for getting it replaced as fast as possible instead of these clowns who like to pass the buck to someone else and not deal with the client and make you wait, yet when they wanted payment I paid immediately, had I known they busted my TV that night, I would not have paid...... The funny thing I see on all of the posted reviews is 5 stars....hmmmmmmm I guess i can have friends do that to........ WHAT A JOKE>>>>>> NO WAY IN HELL WOULD I EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MOVE ANYTHING!!!!!!
