Fraser and his team were excellent and very professional. What I really liked was that he analyzes large items or pieces of furniture and then preps and wraps those items. He then provides his team with detailed instructions on how to move/lift those particular items. -Jose

Fraser was great in arranging my move for me. It was a big move and I was concerned about a few things, I needed 2 trucks and 4 guys. Fraser assured me and I felt confident we'd arranged the best thing for the day. The 4 guys and 2 trucks arrived on time and got straight into it. They made as quick work of it as possible. They were all nice. Hard workers. A few of the guys were really fun and with great attitudes. They took great care with our belongings and our house. We really appreciated the efforts and great service we got with this move. Would certainly recommend and use Crown Mountain Movers ourselves again!

Crown came to our house to provide a quote and ensured us that everything would fit in one truck. On moving day, they arrived four hours late. We were told another job ran late. They were supposed to arrive first thing in the morning. When done and they realized everything did not fit, they partially unpacked the truck and just jammed leftover items into any nook and cranny possible. We had to catch a ferry that same day and almost missed it after frantically cleaning the house afterward because we were four hours behind schedule. Crown was fours late again the next day because of missing a ferry in the morning that we paid for in the cost, so I assume they did not reserve a sailing. On arrival items were spilled over, scratched, etc. due to the “stuffing” the day before. Granted it was 40 degrees the days we moved. The guys who did the move were great and friendly. This was poor planning, over-booking jobs, and poor leadership. I would not recommend Crown to anybody. It was a horrible moving experience. I can see good reviews so I hope this was an anamolous experience, but it was not a pleasant one for us.

Lions Gate Christian Academy used Crown Mountain Movers to relocate our Kindergarten to Grade 12 school (320 students) to new premises at the end of June 2014. This was a massive task and from the moment we engaged and met with Fraser McLarnin, the owner he made us feel comfortable and addressed all our needs. He is professional, polite and went above and beyond his duties to ensure a smooth, stress free move. As a staff we cannot thank him and his team enough for the service we received – we love this company! Their stamina was endless and nothing was too much trouble. Hands down, the best movers we've ever hired (and we've hired a lot). Maybe not the cheapest outfit in town, but then, really, is that who you want handling your move? We have an extra-long sofa that seldom fits in elevators and weighs a ton - I wasn't sure how/if they were going to get it up to our new apartment with it's small elevator. Fraser took one look, decided it would have to go up the stairs. He quickly "walked the route" from outside the building all the way to the door of the apartment, planning every twist and turn that would be required, estimating choke-points and tricky corners. He said it would be a matter of millimeters, but he thought they would probably make it. I then watched Fraser (quite possibly the strongest human I've ever seen in person) and one of his crew (who deserves mention, but whose name I can't remember - sorry) delicately wind this behemoth of a couch through the exact sequence of maneuvers he'd mapped out in his mind. He was right - there were spots where they literally had millimeters to spare. But they never touched a wall. The couch made it into our new living room without a scratch on it maybe 15 minutes after leaving the truck. I'm telling you these guys are moving Jedis. The whole crew was friendly, fast, strong and professional. They wrapped everything, handled every object like it was a precious antique, yet somehow got the job done super fast. Because they were so efficient and organized, we never saw a wasted moment - everyone on the job was always doing something. I really just can't say enough - I will definitely be using Crown Mountain for my next move.

Watch out for a kid named Tomisslav ,will hide behind your walls,talks on his phone ,texts , to create more hours,and steals food from the fridge,and farts alot and the movers smell funny,fraser is ok ,but the workers are very poor quality just an honest review

Great experience, Dave and Connor showed up early and worked fast and efficiently to move several very heavy couches, desks and beds. They were very careful and despite some awkward stairs and tight corners they completed the job with no damage! Simply amazing. I will definitely use them for my next move.
