They have been very cooperative from the beginning, very helpful and have addressed all of our concerns to our satisfaction. I’m a contractor and four of the brothers have worked for me directly in the past. And although we’ve become close, I am not a easy guy to please. They’ll be the first to tell you that. Big Brothers Moving were amazing! They not only showed up early, they were fully prepared with all the tools and man power necessary to do a professional move. They took the bed frame apart in minutes and properly secured all the screws and hardware together and to the frame. Moving is not just about brute force, these guys had great technique even calling out specific ways to lift and twist to get furniture out of really tight spaces. THEY EVEN TAKE OFF THEIR SHOES! I would not recommend this company. It took 4 guys 7 hours to move my small 2 bed apartment furniture and boxes. The journey between the two locations was 20 minutes. They sat around and moved one item at a time and charged me for their lunch break. They also tried to charge me for time where they did nothing and tried to charge me more than they quoted.

I was actually never a customer of Big Brothers Moving, but earlier today a very nice young man named Adrian contacted me via Facebook because while he was at work he found my Bank card lying on the road. Not only did he contact me after he was done his long shift at work, he offered to drive it to my home because he knew that I had small children and it was raining and around dinner time. This day and age its very hard to find honest people in the world. I have booked this company for my moving from Coquiltam Center area to Burquitlam station in Coquiltam itself. It was supposed to get started the moving at 3pm on Nov 30th. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with this company. I had booked our building’s elevator for only two hours (3-5pm); but no one appeared till 4:15pm so I had to take some boxes myself to my own car ((( at 4:15pm two people without any dolly or track came in my place and started to take the boxes to the loading area....they were good people and worked about one hour and at about 5pm their truck arrived...eventually they finished the job at about 7pm....the one who introduced himself as the manger of the company had very unprofessional behaviour and asked me to give him the moving fee for $500 without any apology or sorry. It was not problem for me to pay it but his behaviour make me so sad....they were so late and made me many problems....it was not fair....he was looking only for the money ((( finally they charged my credit card for $500. The point is that the owner of the company is not a professional guy...I will never use their services....never ever.

I wanted to move ASAP and I needed only one hour to move, so I called multiple moving services and these guys did understand that I have to move in less than two hours, so they tried to squeeze me in between their appointments and called me back telling me that they can do it for me. Needed to move multiple heavy sofas from one floor to another in our house. This was my first time using ANY moving servive. Big Brothers Moving Services responded to my request super quickly with a fair quote. The movers Sam and his crew arrived on time and were able to move everything we requested in a timely matter. They were super careful with making sure they wouldnt cause any damage whatsoever to our house! To sum it up Big Brothers Moving Services is worth every penny and far exceeds expectations! I have a very simple move that would take only around 3 hours and a short distance to drive from pickup to drop off. I was quoted $2200.00. This was 3 to 4 times higher than other quotes I received. I have used several movers in the past and this was by far way higher than any of them. So needless to say, I didn't use them to do my move.

Great service and communication. Very precise than other moving companies. The move was very smooth and they worked fast. They even helped to put certain things in certain places in the new place and they were happy to accommodate. They wrapped all my fragile items in wraps that were needed and made sure everything was in place before leaving. I'd definitely use them again! Thanks Big Brothers team.

Big Brother Moving I don’t often give reviews but I’m a very disappointed with this company. I called this company on Thursday April 30th and got a moving quote of $119 an hour. I was not made aware of a travel fee. Had I been informed of that I wouldn’t have chosen this company. They showed up at 10:00am claiming it was 9:30am. Yes one gentleman came at 9:30 but he didn’t do anything or touch anything as he told me he was waiting for the truck which broke down on the road, but a replacement truck was coming with another driver. Mind you I hired this company because I didn’t think they would take totally advantage of the fact I just had a small tiny bedroom. Basically they were just moving a bed and few boxes etc. because the night before I had moved everything using a Uber. I’ve had guys at my work help me move my stuff and two of them were able to do it in less than a hour or so. These guys said the total moving time was 3.5 hours. It was not that much given how much stuff I had. I got a charged $499.80 for something that should’ve taken them an hour to do etc considering one of the drivers was having a smoke as soon as we got to my place. I guess I was charged for that as well right? To make matters worse this company left all my frozen food products that I had brought down for them in the lobby of my old apartment. I had to take a cab back over to New Westminster and bring my groceries home with me. I was 100% taken advantage of because there is no way it should’ve cost me $499.80 to move my stuff. When I called trying to get someone to explain the charge everyone was giving me bogus information about the inconvenience of moving my things which wasn’t done accurately or on time. I feel like I was charged an extra 2 hours for nothing. It’s not about the money. I am very disappointed because this was my first time using a moving company and never I have ever seen this stuff before

Big Brother's was excellent! I can't recommend them enough. So professional and courteous. We were moving from an apartment on the 10th floor to a 4 level townhouse. They manage to move all the furniture in and out of elevators and up very narrow stairs with tight corners. We had a king size bed and big dressers that had to go all the way to the top! No problem for these guys. No damage to furniture or walls. They were SO CAREFUL! Thanks Big Brother Moving.

They performed a pretty strenuous, difficult move with plenty of fragile furniture like oversized mirrors, glass coffee tables, a heavy marble dining table, and a ton of other stuff. None of the furniture got damaged and they carried it across vast distances. They happened to accidently scratch the doorframe of the place we were leaving, but they came back to fix it. Price is reasonable for the quality job that they do. Will definitely return to them for any future moves.

During this unprecedented snow fall in Vancouver, these guys came to my rescue. When my original movers cancelled. I have an insanely steep hill getting to my townhome. On this morning, after 6 inches of snowfall overnight, even my suv wasn’t able to make it up successfully. I had spoken to Marshall in the morning, letting him know of the treacherous hill. He told me that he had made a commitment to me, and as a professional, he would keep his commitment. His crew spent two hours getting the truck up the hill. Shovelling, salting, and doing whatever they could to get the job done. I have never seen work ethic like theirs, as a group and a team. And not only that, they took on the job of my garbage removal afterwards. These guys worked over 10 hours to get the job done, professionally and without complaints!! I feel I need to mention how much I appreciated how respectful they were to my mother in law. Despite the language barrier. Thanks guys. For all your hard work. You made what was impossible, run smoothly.

These guys helped out immensely, they saved us tons of money. Their prices are lower than the competitors we spoke to, yes, but they also pulled through the day we called them. The last minute move was completed quickly, and the professionals were friendly. We were running out of time to move into our new condo before rent came out in our old place. I was leaving town for work. I explained our situation to them and they moved us from North Vancouver to Langley that day! They didn't have to do that, and other companies refused to help. I wanted to take a very large and heavy box from Home Depot in West Vancouver to our construction site in North Vancouver. Home Depot did not offer same day delivery on that day and I was in a rush. Wow. First time using a moving company, and I was truly blown away by Big Brothers. I was quoted crazy expensive costs from other companies to move my two bedroom apartment, and when I spoke to Big Brothers about my nervousness around surprise fees, they were fair and honest and offered me a flat rate at a VERY reasonable price. They arrived with a team of 4 movers, and an enormous truck. They moved fast, efficiently and caused zero damage to anything. All four of them were friendly and just the right amount of chatty. They moved us out and in within 2.5 hours! I have always known move days to be stressful and sweaty, and this moving experience was the complete opposite. It was the least stressful, least sweaty move I have ever had. The prices were competitive, and everyone I spoke to at the company were friendly and highly valued good customer service. Friendly staff and efficient service! The woman that books the services is very friendly and accommodating. We hired 2 movers to assist us with the removal of one of our clinics sliding doors. They were on time, and got right to work. It was definitely a more complicated job than expected, but they were both very helpful and patient throughout the entire process. This company without a doubt is THE most professional of all movers that I have ever used moving 14 times. They prepared the move understanding in absolute detail and arrived in a timely fashion without question. We intended to rent a U-Haul for our move from Coquitlam to the Sunshine Coast last week, however after sooo many bad experiences with U-Haul customer service, and the hassle we would have to go through (plus any hidden fees!) we decided to try to call some movers. I reached out to Big Brothers first as their reviews were good, and they were the top of the list. We were two days out until our big move so I was worried we wouldn't be able to find anyone to help us on short notice... but they were able to fit us in!! Marshall is very transparent about the process, the fees, etc and I trusted the company. The communication was great.The rate ended up being very close to what we would've been paying through U-Haul and doing it ourselves, it was a huge relief to have someone else take care of the grunt work for us. They were a bit late arriving to our place and things ended up taking a bit longer than initially anticipated, but not by much and it wasn't a big deal in the end. They got to our new home as soon as they possibly could! It was great that they put the furniture exactly where it was intended to go as well. Our stuff was handled with great care, (except our dining room table now has a scuff mark on it - I don't really care as we want to refinish it anyway) and they brought all their own tape and covers to protect everything. It was a long day for them and they didn't complain at all and were very courteous. 10/10 would hire again! Thank you all for helping us with everything!

I had a 32" x 60" 500 pound storage tank that had to be moved down 57 stairs on the outside of a house and through a set of doors that were 33" wide. 6 Men showed up to do the move & got it done with no damage to the house at all. They were courteous and hard working. I would highly recommend these guys.
