This company has the most affordable prices amongst the other in-town companies we called. The crew of guys were very professional and made sure our items were well cared for, like they were their own. They wrapped all of our belongings with shrink wrap and then blanketed them on the truck. We couldn't believe they completed the entire move in the time they did. My mother isn't technically a senior but they gave us a senior's rate. With the Covid-19, they took EXTRA precautions with gloves and masks. The owner was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She spent the time to arrange storage for us and gave us a discount on that too. I will NEVER call any other company than North Bay Moving Services should we move again. Not only did they do a great job but they hired me on to the crew afterwards and I have been working with them ever since We also noticed when we googled moving companies, that this single woman business owner, has been #1 for 2 years beating out all the other major incooperated moving companies! Great job guys!!

They were very accommodating. Great workers! What I like about this company is, it's a small business owned by a single mom of six children .She provides discounts aswell which is great! They shrink wrap the furniture that need be and are considerably cheaper than other companies very professional. I give them a 5 star . Thanks

This company is #1,the ppl that have put up these nasty reviews are coming from fake accounts or friends of ppl that have a personal issue and has absolutely nothing to do with the way the company performs,ppl need to grow up and leave their personal feelings out of it. This moving company is #1for a reason,it is professional and efficient,the individuals that choose to say negatives things are childish and unprofessional,like I said already,grow up and keep your non business feelings out of it. The owner of this company is dedicated and one of the most respected ppl I know. She has changed my life and I would and will stand behind her. I have and will recommend North Bay Moving to anyone and everyone,if you want it done right,call her for a quote and you will not be disappointed.

The movers were very organized and friendly. They arrived on time and everything went as planned. The quoted price they gave me was the final price I paid. I would definitely recommend this moving company. They took extra care to wrap our household items with blankets to prevent any damage to my furniture.

They gave me a discount because I'm on ODSP, but more importantly, they moved us when it was VERY icy out and didn't have any accidents. I was so pleased with the crew that we ordered 2 pizzas and shared with them! The Topper's Thai Sensation was a huge hit ????

BEWARE!!! SCAM! First, most of the positive reviews on this page are from employees of the business. Greg Houle (labourer), Callum Proulx (labourer) Jason Costante / J C ( same person, ex bf of the owner) Brendan Skuja (general manager - check out this company's facebook page and you'll see he was just promoted) and Wade Crockett (baby-daddy to the owner). HUGE conflicts of interest. Secondly, the owner of this company, Christina, gave me a quote for a move in the amount of $1150. Seemed fair. She estimated with three men, it would take about 6 hours, 4 to load and 2 to unload. On the day of the move, the truck and the employees were almost three hours late, and nobody called to let me know. Only two men showed up, apparently the other "called in sick". It took them 5 hours to load, and almost three hours to unload, including an hour in between (even though both residences are only 15 minutes apart). Before they unloaded my belongings, she charged me an additional $420 as she predicted it would take 2 to 3 hours longer than predicted. EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THREE EMPLOYEES!!! Not my fault. They refused to unload my property until I paid.... So I paid it (police informed me and my wife it was a civil matter). After the move was completed, SHE AGAIN ATTEMPTED TO CHARGE ME AN ADDITIONAL $90, as it took 3.5 hours longer than predicted instead of 3. I will NEVER use this company again, and I would never recommend them to anybody.

I would not use their service again. They did not move all our contents and said they didnt have enough time and they would have to charged us extra ontop of that if we wanted them to stay. We ended paying 400 to 500 dollars more because we were put on the spot and had no choice. They stayed another hour and a half I beleive. The owner was rude and told her that was not what we agreed to 2 weeks prior. We had to move the rest of our stuff ourselves with our pickup truck till 2 a.m. in the morning. They said they could move everything and it wouldnt be a problem. They said they would wrap my diningroom table which was glass and was a table my deceased brother gave me just before he passed away. They knew that and they guranteed it would be wrapped. THEY DID NOT. Many items that were fragil not wrapped ended up scratched, broken or dented. Very disappointed in their service and attitude. They guy that came to give us a estimate A few weeks before said and promissed it would be done right and quoted us the price. He did miss the first appointment. Those who put in a good review about this company you were lucky I guess.

We were happy with the wonderful work these guys did at moving a couple of furniture items from my parents home to ours. They did a very careful job as these two items had alot of sentimental value to us.

First of all, many of the reviews here are from people working in their company. I read a review saying this and I fact checked - its true. Average move, and overpriced. I asked for one hour of labour for a spiral staircase job with two men, they charged 235$ after a student discount. They claimed that they normally charge 135$ per hour including driving time (1 hour in this case) - that's still a very high quote for simple labour. Didn't complain as I needed it done right away. Doesn't seem like a professional moving company. I only asked their service because they were the only company available. They were 20 minutes late and didn't call to let me know, and didn't bring anything except for shrink wrap. They asked me for sheets or towels to help the move and didn't even bring water with them. Not prepared at all. They finished the move in 40 minutes and when I asked for an extra thing to move, they said they'll charge extra. Couple of small scuffs on the walls and they didn't seem to be super careful. I realize as I type this, they didn't even finish moving the couch cushions to where they were supposed to. I hate leaving negative reviews, but this is what the company is about in my experience.

AMAZING! Needed a king bed moved. Had booked a different company yesterday, and they never showed up. I had taken a day off work and was so upset. I called North Bay Moving services today and they told me they could move the bed in an hour, and were CHEAPER than the other place I had been supposed to use!!!!!!! My mom has a knee brace and is unable to move anything. They were so helpful & pleasant with her and her tight driveway. Definitely go with these guys! Will be using them for my future moves!!!

Amazing crew and prices. These guys fit me in at the end of the month after the other local moving didn't bother to show up or call and cancel. They didn't overcharge and I liked they covered the floors in each place to keep the yuck out. I will be calling back in 6 mths when I move back east. Thanx Kristina and your amazing workers!

I do not recommend this moving company, as they are incredibly unprofessional. As mentioned in other reviews, most of the positive reviews on here are employees/friends of the business owner. In sharing my experience the company: -Didn't wear masks inside my home or offer to wear masks during a pandemic. -Told me they would shrink wrap my items (Tvs/Dresser) and didn't (dresser drawers were sliding in & out and banged against door frame during move) -Damaged my unwrapped furniture and denied that they did, as if my aunt and I didn't witness them slam my furniture into the doorways -Used my bathroom and left urine on my toilet seat -Forced me to pay in cash after the move had been completed (no heads-up ahead of time, and was informed debit/visa/emt were acceptable payments prior). The movers said they would follow me to the bank to take out cash - Sketchy. -Stopped for gas for 20 minutes on the way to Sturgeon Falls (You pay by the hour, so you would think they might get gas before their runs) -They removed the door for the move and didn't put the door back on one of the hinges when they left, I had to ask them to get out of their vehicle when they were leaving to put it back on. -The move occurred more than a week ago now, and I still haven't received an invoice or a receipt for the move after asking the mover's twice, and the business owner twice -When I contacted the company about the damage & issues, the business owner denied that any of the aforementioned things occurred as the mover's denied any of this happening as if I didn't have a witness with me witness the entire ordeal. -No offer to pay for the damage they caused. -They say damage has to be mentioned at the time of the move, but when I called the company at the time of the move to report the damage, the owner said they would call me back and never did - then stated I didn't report it right away when I emailed after receiving no call back. -I was given damage papers to sign AFTER the move out of my apartment had been completed. I didn't get a copy of the contract. -Company stopped responding to my emails once I sent photos of the damage.

I would for sure recommend North Bay Moving Services to all my friends and family as the quote was very accurate and reasonable, and the service was carried through quite quickly and safely as nothing was discovered missing or damaged upon later inspection, and the workers were friendly and professional.

They didn't charge me anything extra for that and showed up 10 mins early with a super friendly crew who knew EXACTLY what their jobs were. I called up North Bay Moving and spoke with Christine who was very friendly and helpful at arranging my move to fit into my schedule. Not only was the price reasonable but team of Brandon, Greg and Corbin that was sent out to help move me and were the best team I have ever dealt with for a move. My furniture was wrapped up carefully and my all my items were moved without anything being damaged. They were all very friendly and professional which help to make my move stress free. I highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking for quality, friendly service.
