I don’t have much experience to share, but GetMovers made a good impression. We ordered local moving to transport our stuff to the new apartment in the centre – nothing special, the procedure took less than 2 hours. We asked helpers for partial packing, so they provided us with packing supplies. Then, the loading passed very quickly, and the truck delivered our boxes, blankets, and clothes to the new home. I am thankful for customer support since I’m not an expert in the moving industry, and the crew manager was very polite, explaining each step.

The movers were prompt & on time, they were professional yet so friendly! As you can imagine, I was very stressed and believed it wouldn't be possible to move in such a short notice. They packed everything in the apartment with care, and all furniture was wrapped with blankets, tape, wrap and corner cardboard. I’ve moved with them 2 times and both times I was completely satisfied. There was a minor flaw (one time they arrived late, but they do inform that there is 1 hour buffer time). The rest was fine. They disassembled, transported and assembled, no damages, no losses. I guess those who have faced some kind of trouble mainly write the reviews. And those who are satisfied rarely write something. So, the overall rating is unbalanced. If you ask me, I plan to use the services of this company in the future.

We did a renovation in our apartment, so there we some furniture and equipment to deliver from the shopping center. My husband tried to shrink all boxes in our car, but it was such a mess. We called GetMover and get a quick response – the truck came asap and picked all containers. The Crew manager told us they also do furniture installation and junk removal – it was such a great opportunity to do everything today. That is why I liked GetMovers – a large operation network that covers all our needs.

I thought that local moving would cause no difficulties, but it was a mistake. We understood how complicated it is after trying to pack our belongings – after a few hours, we contacted GetMovers’ call center. The lady appointed the date and explained to us what to do. In fact, well-trained helpers did everything on their own. They took packing materials and allocated the properties among wardrobe boxes. We were in our new apartment in 4 hours. I recommend GetMovers to anyone who plans the moving – honest price and quick response are guaranteed.

I asked them not to touch or move our TVs. I brought this up on more than one occasion. I told management the day before when they called me. and when the movers showed they were notified not to touch the TVs. And somehow they ended up being buried in their truck. By the time we notice our TVs had been moved, the truck was to full to get them out. So once they made it to our new house, our three month old 65 inch smart TV was smashed and same with our 70 smart inch TV. They basically make it impossible to contact them after the fact. the only number that someone is reachable, is the number to book the movers for your move. all the rest of the phone numbers are fake or you are transferred to an answer machine. And the phone number they tell to mad people who left a bad google reviews to call this 1888 phone# IS NOT IN SERVICE. ITS A FAKE NUMBER. I have also E mailed them with no response. I may have to take them to court. That's if I can find them. Run and hide Get MOVERS. why is google helping businesses like theirs.

This was the second time I was using Get Movers in the Simcoe region. This experience was nothing like the first. The truck was poorly maintained and they could not get the door closed for 20 minutes. It took the driver 1 and 1/2 hours to get to my new house which should only be a 30 minute drive. Then I was billed for the issues. I argued the issues with the manager (Anar). I have never been yelled at so hard by anyone.. Never again will I use Get Movers or recommend them. If you are going to use them make sure you don't get the truck with the hole in the side or have ANAR as the dispatcher.
