Best move I ever experienced, I didn't need to do anything on my move from. Smithville to St.Catharines. Jeff and his guys loaded everything while I was on my way to Smithville and I didn't even make it as far as Vineland when he sent me a picture of empty rooms and said he was on his way to St.Catharines to unload . The entire move took less than a hour and everything was in my new apartment. Great job and they followed all the covid standards. Easiest move of my life.

I wouldn't even give them one star if I didnt have to. My friend used them to move a few times and damaged her very old antique armoires given to her by a family member. There was a bunch of us there that had witnessed these damages. Now they are refusing to pay to have it fixed. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I dont recommend using their services.

THE OWNERS RESPONSE BELOW IS A HUGE LIE!!! I WANT MY FAMILY AMOIRE FIXED!! I DO NOT WANT ANY FINACIAL COMPENSATION I JUST WANT MY FURNTIURE FIXED -- JUST LIKE MY FIANCE TOLD HIS RECEPTIONIST!! I used A-1 Moving Company in St. Catharines three times with no issue. They damaged an antique armorer that has been in my family for over 100 years and refuse to pay for the damage. You can see they did a poor job wrapping it up (hense the damage). Instead of them paying the $100 to fix it they want to play the hard way. We spent $450 for them to move and damage our stuff. People use movers so their stuff is safe and protected with the companies insurance. I highly recommend to STAY AWAY from this UNPROFESSIONAL company!!!

These guys were absolutely awesome movers! They were on time and moved super quickly and efficiently! My apartment was on the third floor and not only did they bring everything including a giant solid wood China hutch up those stairs but they unloaded my family vehicle for me too! Awesome, friendly and efficient guys :) ten stars!!

We used A1 to move in August, placing all the furniture (from a 4 bedroom house), in the basement of our new house while it was was being completed. Punctual, efficient, polite and very helpful. When the house was completed, we used them again in November to move the furniture upstairs to the ground floor and re-organize the basement. As we all know , moving is a very stressful thing and these guys really take a lot of the strain off you. Furthermore, they were less expensive than other movers and the best we have used to date.

I have had the pleasure of using Jeff and his boys on two separate occasions this past week (August 2017) the weather was hot and sticky both days. They never stopped, were courteous when addressed and happy to help. A1 made a potentially stressful experience seem like just another day at the office. The advice Jeff offered (when asked) was drawn from his many years experience, never biased and in my best interest. Should I ever require moving services in the future, I will not hesitate to give Jeff and A1 a call.

Nice try taking down your original post, it has already been given to the lawyer. And as far as giving them a break on the price, you did not. The cost of moving was 450.00 plus tax, the total bill was 505.00. What you did do was drop the tax off the bill because they paid you cash. When Ashley informed her mother that you dropped the tax off the bill,she was quite stunned. What you are doing is defrauding the government. As a government employee my wife is definitely quite interested in that. As a business man you should be aware that it is your responsibility to not only collect the tax, but to pay the government their share. They do not take kindly to undeclared earnings and failure by you to pay the money that is due to them. For someone who claims to be honest, trustworthy and professional you have an odd way of showing it. It's all about optics and when what you say and what you do clash...one really does have to wonder.

We were recommended this company by our real estate agent and are so happy we used them. Jeff gave us a fair estimate before the move and he was right on with it.The three guys arrived right on time the day of the move. They worked efficiently and consistently the whole day. They worked well together and loaded and unloaded our heavy furniture and boxes with much care and professionalism. We would highly recommend this company to friends and neighbours.

I was there on moving day , in total there were 7 of us. I don't know what us having two shopping carts in the living room to load boxes etc in so that we could get more down to our vehicles at a time has to do with the damage to the dresser that you caused.We took almost all the boxes and also pictures etc in our vehicles and your company was to move the big stuff. Your company wrapped the dresser and moved it out of the old place and into the new one. If you notice in Ashleys pictures the area that what damaged wasn't wrapped. The fact that you are stating the dresser was already scratched is an out and out lie and you know it. Make sure you hang on to the picture you took of the tiny scratch so it can be compared to Ashley and Brandons picture when we get to court. Her step dad and I will be paying for her legal costs to file the documents...naturally the court cost are going to be added to the bill we will be asking to have been paid by you . I am also going to be showing my lawyer the post you have put up and will be inquiring about a possible defamation of character suit as well.So whatever you do ....do not lose that picture you have. That sir is the only thing that is going to save your arse!

A1 Moving Co. has taken care of all our 6 moves for over 25 years...I have referred Jeff and his team at A1 Moving to all our family and friends. We have bulky and heavy furniture, stainless steel appliances, and a lot of very fragile boxes just to name a few items. Jeff and his team moved all of our belongings without any damage...not even a broken glass in the boxes. No damage to any walls, stairways, doors etc.. We are super fussy and that's why we call Jeff at A1 moving. He is trustworthy with all your possessions and his pricing is very fair for his quality of work. I highly recommend A1 moving for all your moving needs. Thank goodness we found A1 moving !!!!!
