The pre-packing advice that we got and followed was spot on and helped immensely when we crossed the border. PCM cared for our stuff, it all arrived unscathed and was promptly delivered. There were no surprises on the bill which was very much in line with the estimate. I would recommend PCM anytime and would certainly use them again.

Movers them selves were great, although brought a truck to small, even after having a visual check done, said a hour would be dedicated off my bill, only a half an hour was taken off , ended up moving multiple truck loads myself and still payed close to full rate, called back asking for bill to be adjusted for the inconvenience and no call returned after last time I talked to office....awesome ???? Shawn is amazing at estimates. For our move from Coquitlam B.C to Guelph ON, he took one look at our belongings and sure enough after weighing it after packing he was almost bang on with the estimate. That's clearly because he has spent so many years doing this. The process was easy and everyone involved from the Livingston Car moving team of Lisa and Kathy ( she is a delight) and to the actual movers- Hari, and Tim as well as Troy who delivered my car. They arrived within the time windows estimated and made sure to call me if there were any issues with the parking or slight delays. I would highly recommend them for any long distance moves.

I felt the employees handled the material (items) a bit rough. Someone should keep a vigilant watch/monitor the activity. At the destination location we noticed minor nicks and dents to the door frame and floor. The pricing is reasonable.

I was very weary about moving cross country due to seeing videos on how a lot of moving companies scam customers and add hidden fees they were unaware of but Purely Canadian Movers are amazing. Their estimate was 4x that of the competition because they were completely transparent on what I'd be charged for what services that made me feel at ease by not hiding anything. The week coming up they sent me e-mails to let me know how everything was going and the movers that came to pack everything were extremely polite and easy going while being extremely hard workers. Dropping off was also a pleasent experience and they made one of the hardest decisions of my life a lot easier than I had expected. I'd like to give a huge thank you to Cole who is an absolutely amazing worker and any company should be very grateful to have someone as dedicated to their job as he is, he went above and beyond anything I could have asked for. I can gaurantee that if anybody I know is planning to move that Purely Canadian will be the company I recommend them to use.

Moved from Vancouver to Toronto and had a great experience with Purely Canadian. There have been a lot of horror stories that I've read about from cross-country moves so I made sure to do some research before selecting a few companies to get quotes from. Dealt with Shawn originally and had a good feeling based on my interaction with him from the start. Everything went well and the movers were very professional. Both move out and move in were done very quickly. The only criticisms are that it came out to be more expensive than I had thought based off the original quotes and I wish I had been told that they would not put back together any of your furniture that you after the move (could be my fault for not reading that piece of it) but ultimately I am very happy with the move and service.

We recently moved my mother-in-law to Kelowna. She didn't have a lot of stuff, yet other moving companies were quoting ridiculous prices. Purely Canadian offered to add her things to an existing move to Kelowna at a fraction of the price of the other companies. On the day of the move, they arrived on time and were able to back up a long, very steep driveway. They expertly navigated some tricky outside stairs with her piano, and even shrink-wrapped it for protection! They loaded everything quickly but carefully, and were even able to deliver the items in Kelowna a day earlier than expected. The office staff was great to deal with too, very friendly and always returning phone calls and emails promptly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Hi, I would like to thank Iris for getting my move, January 17,2020, done promptly and very efficiently. The gentlemen, Greg, Tim, Kevin, Anto, Mike Adam and Chase were very kind and approachable men. When they arrived at my home they said it would take them two days to move it all and I was unhappy but they got it all done in 1/2 a day with no issues for much less than I was quoted. I'd rather be quoted high and get some back as that feels good. The only issue I would say is that the manager was to phone and let me know, the day before, for sure, that they were coming and he didn't. Iris had said they would be there by 8am and they were. I still haven,t unpacked everything as our reno's are not finished but what has been unpacked is good as it was before. So thanks again and if we need movers again I'll be sure and call.

This moving company is the one to go if you are doing a cross-border moving. They are organized, friendly and get the work done efficiently and CAREFULLY. Nothing broke (NOTHING!) or got damaged. One point that makes them outstanding in this moving industry is that they transport your belongings ALONE, not with many other households, which means you choose the date you want your delivery truck at both doors... (even in Holiday days) and the possibilities of misplacing, unclear pick up and delivery dates, etc. are totally out of the equation!!!! They are knowledgable in the official legal procedure of crossing the border, so no surprises of what it can and can't be transported and the paperwork necessary. Ed answered the 1000 + questions we had. Thank you, Ed! I was living in Pitt Meadows and purchased a home in Ashcroft, BC in July. 2017 and due to the Elephant Hill fire I was unable to move in August. PCM arrived at the designated time, loaded up my home, carefully and was completed quickly. then moved my contents into storage for 2 weeks until it was clear to move. Again they were most efficient, delivered and unloaded my contents, while being careful and was very helpful in placing my furniture where I wanted it. I have used the services of Purely Canadian movers in 2016 Jul moving from Vancouver to Toronto. Met Shawn Clarkin who explained me the whole process in detail and provided a competitive quote. The service was amazing and not a single item including items like Bulb been broken or damaged while shifting content of a 3 bedroom + Living room house from Vancouver to Toronto. I am extremely impressed by Shawn and his crew who not only delivered the goods on time but also accommodated my special circumstances of delivering it with a delay as the handover of my house in Toronto was a bit late. I have taken quote from several movers and contacted them and read horrifying stories of people experience with movers but I am happy that I met Shawn and his company. My advise to people if you pack your own Cartons then pack it properly else don't blame movers for the damage. In my case all the furniture and large items were packed by the company and cartons I packed. This is the company to use for any movement. I moved from Toronto to Vancouver in April 2018. While any moving could be stressful, a cross-country move is a beast in itself in terms of logistics, preparation, expense and most of all finding a reliable and affordable moving company. After more than two months of agonizing research to find a good moving company and taking in-house estimates from a few, I was totally frustrated at the confusing cost breakdowns I received and the sky high estimates that came along. Then my uncle in BC forwarded me Purely Canadian Mover's (PCM) contact. From day 1 communication was so easy with them. What I appreciated most was that there was no ambiguities. Being a project manager I like to do my due diligence first and properly. Shawn Drdul from PCM made sure all my inquiries were clarified on time and clearly. The estimate they gave me was the most competitive and reasonable I had received. No hidden costs. In fact, the final weight of my shipment came less than the estimate and they adjusted my final due payment accordingly. PCM even gave me a half month discount on storage and one free access to their warehouse. On the day of the move, everything happened as I was told. On time and my stuff was handled with care. When I arrived in Vancouver, I received a call from Shawn that my stuff has arrived - on time and in good condition. I made the final payment as was agreed on. All in all very professional team. Can't stress enough how I relieved I felt at that. I would not hesitate to recommend Purely Canadian Movers to my family and friends anytime. They made my cross Canada move a lot less stresful !
