Junk. One of the guys smelled horribly of sour alcohol. Dropped a bunch of my stuff and broke a lot of my things. The other mover was awesome but the one dude was horrible. My dining room table is ruined along with many other of my items. Paul turned everything around on me claiming that I wouldn't allow him to talk to the movers, however this is completely untrue. I had only stated that it was pointless for him to come to my place as the job would be finished before he arrived. Which turned out to be true. He attempted to call me but my phone was in another room while I was supervising the men to make sure nothing else got broken. He then refused to speak with me when I was available to talk. I will screen shot the conversation and add to my review. Total lack of care and responsibility. Dont hire these people.

If you value your belongings.. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS. $2100 later and many broken items. They didn't even finish moving everything at the end of the move. Had to do it ourselves. Not worth the money.

I did not use this business, nor will I, since the owner made threatens to stab anyone who phones after hours. I know he also encourages his employees to slack off on an hourly job costing costumers hundreds of dollars, and on occasion hold customers belongings for unwarranted amounts of ransom money.

They are scammers. They say one price and then change it when they get their. If you don't sign the higher price they will hold your belonging. NEVER EVER EVER use them. They love to scam seniors the most cause a lot have no idea. Or newcomers who have no idea about contracts.

HIRE THIS COMPANY! Paul and his team of Manny and Keith bailed me out of a situation where my original moving company bailed 15 hours before the scheduled pick up. I got lucky as Paul had the opening. Not only did they promptly make the appointment happen but the 2 man crew Manny and Keith made the move a breeze. They handled the job with care and attention. I had items i thought for sure they would have trouble moving like some paintings (more because they are a pain to move) but it was nothing to the guys. I would most definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for moves. Try to give them more notice than I did of course Thanks again guys, exceptional work and service! Mike

Was very easy to book and I the movers themselves were very good and took care of my stuff perfectly. However just as I was about to pay the owner when they were moving the stuff into my new house the owner started shouting and insulting a passing by woman who had seemed to look at the license plate on his car. This was very distressing for me as it was already a stressful moving day and also represented me badly to my new neighbours. Would not reccomend this company due to this behaviour.

I've used multiple companies in the past but by far affordable movers performed beyond expectations. Why? Because I didn't they would wrap and pad every individual items with moving pads and then shrink wrapped then. Glass were were taken into extra consideration and double padded. We had a terrific experience with them for our move Coquitlam to Burnaby. The amount of furniture to be disassembled, moved and then assembled again in the new location was very significant, VERY QUICK!!!. It was a big task very well executed by Darren and his team. They arrived on time, early by 10 minutes and worked for 9 hours to complete the move. What I particularly appreciated was their care in covering valuable and more delicate pieces of furniture with two to three blankets. So no harm would be done. Better still, no walls were dinged in our home! Thank you Darren and affordable movers.

Today I was given the help from Ryan and Rahul and Wow! That was a close call. These guys did an amazing job of getting it done with some serious perseverance to completing the task. My sofa is extra long and wide so getting it in to an older condo... It was challenging. Both of them provided exceptional service and I could see their was care in the handling of my furniture to prevent scuffs or damage. I was a nervous wreck but with Ryan’s calm demeanour and the teamwork between them both I was able to stay calm during the first time on my own. Thanks to both you guys for their hard work today ❤️????????

Absolutely horrendous experience. Furniture was broken knowingly and not declared. Credit card machine was down and they refused to do any more work until e-transfer was complete. One of the guys was apologizing profusely on behalf of his boss which he didn't need to do if they did a professional job. And this was a move within less than 2 km. Their name should be "Substandard Movers". Also, they were not cheap. Unacceptable on every level. I'm not trolling, this was a real experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!

Worst moving experience EVER! Ruined furniture, mattress and if you don't have an i-phone for e-transfer (which we didn't know ahead of time) They down tools and drag your items off their dirty filthy truck, leave them on sidewalk until you have access to a computer to pay them and charge you for that time!!! Disgusting and should never be in business!!

These guys are the legitimate article. Took a daunting move and made it look easy, including several pieces of unwieldy furniture. They were even able to help on the fly and assist with my roommate who was down some men trying to move in their stuff. And the whole time, they were nothing but accommodating and pleasant. If I could give zero stars I would! I have heard many horror stories of bad service, slow work, price fluctuations after the fact of and agreed price and if unable to pay his ridiculous "new" price he will hold your items ransom. All in all seriously do not trust these people with your belongings. The art of scam if strong in this one.

Dec 1st.Sunday 10 am. Was informed by a different company, they were not equipped to move us,..after much anxiety, in finding another mover..Affordable movers answered the call...Came with their 7 ton truck, it was completely filled.they were such a wonderful happy crew,,I gave them 5 stars, they worked 11 hard hrs...finished at 2 am.all that time they never complained, they were so courteous, and placed the furniture where I wanted it...even after finishing they asked if we wanted our cars unloaded..I would recommend affordable movers for your move

BE AWARE, This guy is a going to rip you off. He sounds professional on the phone, but as soon as he load your stuff on the moving truck, he acts like a gangster. He threaten to take my stuff, if I don't pay the money before unloading, and the money was more than double what he quoted. From Surrey to Vancouver he took more than two hours, while I drove same time in 45 mins...cheap schemes to make more money. Seems like, all the good rating here on google are made by him or his folks. there are some real experience reviews with terrible rating and this guy responding them back like bully, how PATHETIC.

Do not hire this company! What Paul Lekhraj does is illegal! He is not properly insured and many items including my piano are broken! Also our jewelry, laptop and other valuables is missing and Paul charged us over $5000 for the move in cash and refused to give our belongings to us until we paid first! He instructed his drivers to hold our belongings hostage for a week even after we paid! Paul also threatened my family if we dared to call the police and was very racist! I don't know how this scammer is still in business!

Called this company instantly had someone professional take my request and information down. Within the next few days I had a great group of guys show up on time, helped load everything into the moving truck and safely transported my belongings to my new address. Yes 3 men showed up on short notice to unload our 26' uhaul and we were told they had 2.5 hours for us, but wouldn't do a thing until I paid debit card. Not credit card and now I know why. Within 5 minutes one left. Then after 1 1/2 hours another stopped work after falling on the truck ramp. The moment I called the owner Paul to request a credit for the 1 hour for the 1 man I suffered total verbal abuse in a loud agitated barrage of my insensitivity, the rain, my age, they did me a favour, etc. In other words how dare I request a credit.Naturally I can't get one as it's not a credit card I could dispute.
