I received a quote and date to move about 3 weeks before my moving date, everything was set, on the day of the move Bob McIntyre called to say he had a prior commitment and would be late, then he came over took a look around and doubled the price of the move, knowing full well there was no time to get someone else and we really didn't have any choice. On top of that several of my things were broken because they took no care moving the boxes around just dropping them on top of one another. As a side note, they had absolutely nothing to do the day of the move except move, everything was packed by us and taken down to the lower level of the house with the exception of 2 dressers which were emptied. Beware of this company

Worst place ever almost hit my 4 year old 3 inches from her head and I called and they hung up on me. Very bad serve from there get crafts moving to do it.

-Phoned in early January to book a Move Mid-February. Was told I would receive a phone call to book a quote. - Followed up days later as I hadn’t heard from them was told someone would come to my home for a quote on Thursday, Took the Morning off work to ensure this was taken care of. -No One showed up that day or answered the phone to follow up. -Finally spoke with someone days later, was told that the phone wasn’t working properly and “It wasn’t worth the hassle of trying to answer” - Scheduled a second time for a quote and had to ask several times for a timeframe for the quote inspection a week later. -Arrived late for quote and was told I would receive a price quote that afternoon. -Never received the call. -Phoned several times over a few days to receive the price point quote for our move now a week before move in day and was given the run around that the man who came for the home inspection would call me back. -He Phoned me back that afternoon, after a second call asking to speak to him... just to tell me he didn’t have any of my information and that he would call me that evening - He never called. -Called a competing company, Ultimate Movers and had a quote in under an hour and the peace of mind that they will arrive to my home on Move in day. -Phoned Mcintyre's to tell them to remove my name from the list for service to ensure they didn't just show up without ever giving me a price quote in the first place and was told that their phone was crackling and Someone would call me back. This company instilled zero confidence in their service, gave me a month's worth of uncertainty and runaround during an already stressful time. For the Cost of a Landline Phone, This company lost not only my business but the business of several friends who were planning on using their services. What a waste of time and energy this runaround was.

Had them move both my stuff and girlfriend's stuff from two apartments to a house. Happily stored her things overnight (no extra charge). Workers were friendly and happy during transition (no swearing/angry tones) Make sure to have your ALL your stuff packed and ready for when they get there. They're very quick, and managed to not hit a single thing/wall coming and going from my awkward shaped apartment!

Called McIntyre's to do a unit move for me at Apple Self Storage. The two gentlemen were friendly and courteous and handled the move with professionalism. All went smoothly as I made sure walkway was clear of obstruction so they could progress without worry of fetching up on anything.

Not recommended!!!!! Called to get a quote to move 12 bigger items from a downstairs unit to an upstairs unit in the same building. Wouldn't return my calls, I had to call 5 or 6 times over a week and a half time frame. One call ended with them telling me they misplaced their scheduling book and that they would call me right back, no call. Finally they came to provide a quote 2 days before I needed to move (thanks for stalling) and wanted $500!! 12 items, upstairs, same building, didn't even have to go outside! Of course I refused, called around and saved a few hundred dollars! NOT recommended!!!!!!!!

I would have given 0 stars if that was possible. Owner hung up on me when I called to say I'm missing a box which had over $1500 worth of stuff. Very bad service, stay away the new owner is not good.

They were on time and the job was finished in record time. That's the plus. The owner and I exchanged a few texts. He's sweet. Two days after the move I became ill and could not text for some time. Now they won't return or answer my call. I thought some decency would be in order, but nope.
